"Hacked and Holy"

Well, first off, Happy 4th of July to all Americans out there. Yep, today years and years and years ago the Declaration of Independence was signed by the Fathers of this grand and beautiful country of freedom and independence. Then, all of the other countries in the world tried to follow in our footsteps of being a democracy. For example, the country of Iraq today. I doubt I'll be going to any firework displays today. July 1st my sister and her husband took me to Mellow Park in Peckville; the place had good popcorn but the fireworks stunk. Then yesterday my father took my sister, her husband, and I up to Honesdale in Wayne County to view their wonderful fireworks. Every year we almost went there and they have one of the best displays in the area. And that held true yet again yesterday. I took pictures of the two firework displays and even video of the Honesdale ones, but you know how I am with getting media on here. For example, let's look at my to-do list:
  • Get pictures of my hunting cabin I don't even remember how many weeks ago on here with blog posts written in green tablet.
  • Get the updated pictures of the flood and the high waters of the Aylesworth Creek Lake on here.
  • Get pictures of my second visit to Zezima's house on here. (By the way, my friend Dante on Runescape had a video of him dancing and trading with Zezima but is having troubles uploading it to be public on the internet.
  • Get the pictures of the fireworks up, and the video...today, well, later on today.
I'll probably get these done though because my addiction to Runescape has went downhill, a very steep hill with a lava pit at the bottom. Why?

"Hacked and Holy", a blog entry stolen from my old blog. I think it had to do when somebody hacked my old blog and put gay porn on it, but that's not the point. We're talking Runescape-related. I was hacked in Runescape yesterday.

I slept over my sister's house twice over this weekend; once Saturday night and once Sunday night. Both times I took my laptop. I didn't expect to get internet however I still wanted to take it anyway. When I got there on Saturday, I sat on my sister's bed and pulled my laptop out and turned it on (a very long process) and to my amazement, I had internet access. Sure the signal was 'very low' and even went to 'no signal' (to which I would still have the internet but it had a 50% chance of working a couple minutes later), the internet was still there in front of me on my own private laptop. I didn't want to hog my sister's desktop, so I resumed using my laptop.

Just the day before I went up my sister's, I bought my whip on Runescape for 2.6 million gp. The guy who I bought it from laughed at me ("lolololololol") when I offered 2.5 mil, but when I personal messaged him asking for a price (which I was afraid he'd say 2.8 to 3 mil, because I only had around 2.950+ mil), he said 2.6 mil and I sounded, "Deal!". That was a good offer though. I ran to my bank booth, got an extra 100k out, and went back to him and got my whip. God was I happy. One of my lifelong dreams was now achieved on Runescape, taking the form of step two of my Runescape plan. Done. Step three: Get 52 prayer. I thought this step would be a lot easier with a whip. So, at my sister's and even a little bit before I went, I was at the Taverly Dungeon fighting baby blue dragons for their baby dragon bones, which give a good amount of prayer exp. I was killing the baby dragons like there were n tomorrow with a whip, doing 15, 10, 11, 17, etc. or the everyday 5, 2, 8. But it so was fast that the low hits or 0's I hit didn't matter. Before I knew it I'd keep on getting a full inventory due to the bones. Well, my lobsters take up probably more than half my inventory, as well as my dusty key, three airs, one law, and one water rune. But I even fought some lesser demons for the first time (besides the Dragon Slayer quest) and even got the semi-rare drop of a rune medium helmet. Life was good.

Then yesterday, Monday, I was on my laptop at my sister's around one o' clock talking to Craig on Runescape while I was fighting the baby blues, but I had to go home around then because my sister wanted to go swimming at my house. After swimming, I came upstairs to play Runescape because I was really eager to resume my plan. Actually I was going to cheat my plan and just get 46 prayer, then go get the requirements to make a bullseye latern so I could do slayer and kill those cave slimes already. I typed in my user name and password and to my surprise got "Invalid Name or Password". I got that a lot because I always mess up typing either my name or password. Sometimes I would have two spaces between Buddy and Foote or forget the "e" on Foote. I retried about three times and still got the same error message. At this I started to freak out because I had the one word that was running through my mind: hacked. I quickly went over to the offical Runescape site to answer my password recovery questions to change my password, and luckily did do so. I went to sign on and this time it worked. I remember my heart was beating so hard that I honestly felt like I was going to have a heart attack and my breathing was heavy. After some lag, the screen finally appeared. I click continued or play game or whatever it says in that red bo at the bottom of the screen near that tip of the day. And I then was heart broken at that moment and cursed the world.

I was standing in East Varrock Bank without my full rune armour on and with my whip gone. I looked in my inventory. There was some baby dragon bones and my ring of life. I looked at my equipment menu and saw that I still had my boots of lightness, light blue wilderness team cape, three iron arrows, and...I think that's it. I quickly went to my bank booth and saw that the PIN was supposed to be deleted in the next three days. I quicky got in and stopped the recovery by entering the right PIN. Luckily, my banked items were still there, and the only money I had: 300k+ gp. First thought: I'm quitting Runescape. I'm out of here, good-bye! It took a year away from my life that I could never get back. Why? Because I was afraid of how I got hacked. I didn't have a clue. Tip.It staff is sending e-mails around about some virus that can get onto your computer and retrieve your account information if you go on their forums, but I downloaded a new anti-virus program and scanned and got zero infected files. That scared me even more. Then I was afraid that I had a keylogger. Then I was afraid that somebody got my information from the unknown internet I used at my sister's house. Then I was afraid of everything..I don't know. But Craig yelled at me to not quit, so I'm not.

Curses below. I'm warning you now.

I'm just going to cut magic trees, get my money back, and laugh at those damn fucking son-of-a-bitches who have to be fricking geeks to go that low in life over a damn game that you're supposed to have fun playing, not compete over each other and steal each other's pixel money and items! I mean, I pay for this game and to have somebody go through my fricking stuff and steal both fake and real money away from me, they need a new direction is their fucking little pathetic lives to go around creating programs and viruses or trojans to steal a Runescape account! Hey, let's sell it on eBay! I bet if I go to eBay right now I'll see "Level 81 account for sale!".

Now I must go.
