A New Year

As thousands of people line up at Times Square to celebrate the New Year with Green Day playing live, I celebrate my time of almost having a heart attack but I lived instead. This time just occured. I started Dragon Slayer today on Runescape and finished it. I almost died several times but thanks to the cooked lobsters and cakes I had, I was able to survive. That green fool deals 9 hit points of damage. That's a lot. His darn breathe is the major killer. Dragon Slayer was a goal I had to beat by the end of this year and I just happen to complete it on the last day of 2005. Well this is a great beginning to a new year.

Well, this is most likely my last post of the year, on 2005. But what a year it was, both world-wide and on the history of this blog. I started blogging January 22nd, 2005 on my first old blog and since then greatly improved in writing style, knowledge, and site/service. Then sometime in July I transferred over here. But world-wide we look at many of the events occuring in 2005 with probably more than half of them having a negative effect, hurricanes, war, bird flu, etc. But I hope for many out there that they had a good year and will have a very positive and upbeat new year, letting in 2006.

I really don't have that feeling for New Year's anymore, just like I didn't really have my past Christmas spirit with me this year. I say it's just another day that tortures me because I'm used to putting 2005 down on most papers besides 2006. And I guarentee I will forget about putting 2006 down.

I'm not in the mood for typing right now so have a happy New Year's and don't get wasted at the local bars too much. M'kay?

Gaming Party Gone Wrong

this is an audio post - click to play

EDIT next day at 5:55 P.M. -- This party, as you can hear, went horribily wrong. Actually it didn't go wrong but was fun as all hell. Craig and I were playing Tony Hawk's American Wasteland 3/4 of the time last night and 1/2 of today. As you could also hear from this audio blogging recording, these are the conversations we carry on all night before twelve. Later on, he made a skate park and I made two, one today and one yesterday. Actually we both made one today where we went crazy on water and the rail tool.

And I lost on NFL 2K2. Craig only won by thirty points but after hitting the Playstation 2 off of my head in an anguished state of anger many times, I felt very light-headed.

Well, school in two days. That statement makes me want to bury my head in snow and stay there for a few hours. Damn it...

Have a good one.

A Former Mistake

I once in the past stated that the one-year anniversity of Buddy Foote's Blog (not this one but my first one but I combine them both together anyway) is January 11th but it is not January 11th. I started Buddy Foote's Blog on Saturday, January 22nd, 2005 at 6:49 P.M. So I was wrong. I can push back the date of the "party" now...not that I was going to have one. I'm happy I don't have the low IQ that I did almost a year ago.

Quote from the end of my first blog entry:

"Well...happy first post I guess and I hope if you read you'd enjoy it. If you'd like to visit my forum http://savc.7.forumer.com, then please do so. And if you're a GTA fan, then please join! I'm on my dirty knees with my dirty hands bowing down to you to please join! Okay...maybe I'm not that desperate...but you have to be sometimes. Adious!

I'm a male by the way... :D"

Who the hell says, "I'm a male by the way" and then has a smiling face after it. My 8th grade self, that's who. I should put my old blog on Shittyblogs.com and laugh at what they say. Although it may ruin my future image of this blog. And why did I say dirty hands and knees? I just don't get it. Damn I changed a lot during the summer. For the better thankfully. And that old forum I checked out earlier this week and it's overran with spam, and I don't care. If you want to go spam on it, go right ahead. I'm just surprised it's not shut down yet.

Anyhow I'm heading off to Craig's now for the night so expect maybe an audio blog. Hopefully it won't suck as much as the first. I can't type on my old computer anymore so expect typos whenever I do.

Night. Happy New Years.

Audio Blogging Test

this is an audio post - click to play

EDIT next morning at 9:55 -- Well, it appears to work. As you can tell, I cannot talk on a phone. I will never have a job that requires me to talk on a phone. When I'm a computer teacher in the future, I'll be stumbling over my words. "Now log into your computers and go on Microsoft Excel. I mean Powerpoint. I mean any site you want to on the internet. I mean...Microsoft Word." Yes, I stink at speaking. I talk too low, mumble something, and the muscles in my mouth won't move to the words coming out of it. At least I know how that fat man from the ABC show Invasion was able to post on his blog, but he was doing it with a recording device which he probably later on uploaded to his computer and this posted.

Have a good one. !Nos Vemos!

Audio Blogging

I just signed up for Blogger's free service of Audio Blogging, in which you call a number, speak, and get it posted on your blog automatically, so I may have to fool around with that feature later on tonight when I have to turn my laptop off. I got in trouble the last two nights of staying up on my laptop late so I'm going to actually listen this time and get off.

Just wanted to quickly post this to notify you on a possible new future of audio blogging here. I may also use this feature, if it works for me, at Craig's tomorrow.

Night.

Vacation Almost Over

For as much as we wanted it to come, it is going. Christmas vacation, which sucks to a new high because there's only three more days left to it. Three. The dreaded number that starts down half of the countdowns with the other number being ten. But ten is a good number. Why am I talking about numbers... Anyway, Monday we get dressed early in the morning and go walk to our bus stops yet again with only a week break from doing that. This week seemed long from the start of the vacation but while you get toward the end, it tends to widdle down, go faster, and then dies on you like a mole and a sixteen-wheeler on a country road, not pretty. Although I'll enjoy the end of this week by staying over my friend Craig's house tomorrow night for a little video game fiesta. NFL 2K2 will be played much tomorrow. But yet I'll have that bitter pain in the back of me with school coming... I mean it's Thursday already! Thursday night! Back to learning and studying besides sitting in front of my new laptop playing Runescape, talking to DrakeGTA, and reading Runescape-related web sites. That is what I did all vacation...

While playing Runescape today, I was doing my combat leveling up stragety of getting my prayer and attack up at the East Ardounge marketplace when I buried enough bones of the guards that a level 79 zombie appeared. Killing it, using food from the local stalls that I stole from, I got a dragon bone and a big bone which I thought was pretty interesting and was indeed the best random event monster drop I saw or heard of. A killed another one later on and got about four or five big bones. I did take a picture of the dragon bone I got but forgot to upload it yet. Just a little note of my Runescape experiences today. I didn't get to play much because my nephew and neice were here. And will be here again this weekend on both days...

My friend, Caitlin, just joined the Blogger services recently and has her blog up and running today so I advise you to go look at it so she can get a good start at traffic. Not that my site attracts a lot of visitors but I have those occasional readers. I wish her good future blogging. I tried to convience Craig to start a blog but he said it would take too much time. Oh well...

And yet again, Unleased and I are fighting over a Runescape-related topic and this being my player-owned shop idea and POH's. Will we ever stop fighting? Probably not...

Have a good one.

Interviewing Kester

Well, my buddy Kester was in the interviewing mood today and wanted me to interview him on his upcoming album Strange Chris. If you want some more information on this album, then read the following interview. This interview is real, a vice versa from my Bloogger interviews. But I'm doing the interviewing this time.

Foote: Hello Kester

Kester: Hi

Foote: I heard of rumors that you're releasing an album of some kind. Are these rumors true?

Kester: You heard correctly, I'm releasing a CD called Strange Chris

Foote: You heard it readers, Kester is indeed releasing an album. Why is it called Strange Chris? Any specific reasons why?

Kester: Well, I was singing my great rendition of O' Canada one day in school, and someone said "What will you call yourself?" and I really didn't have any idea. Someone said "You're like Weird Al. Let's call you Strange Chris!" and that's how it happened

Foote: I see. I see. What should we expect on this album?

Kester: Well, a few songs people have already heard, such as "I Once Kicked A Baby In The Head", "I Love Cheese", "Flying High With The Birds" and "Thespian Chubber". Another song I believe that will be a huge hit, "Us Pirates", a song about pirates, with a very catchy tune done by a one Standing Man

Foote: When should we expect a release of this album?

Kester: If all goes according to plan, hopefully sometime in January

Foote: What motivated you to produce this album?

Kester: My manager recommended me to make one, after I had made so many good songs

Foote: Are you into this for the fortune or the entertainment for future beloved fans?

Kester: I'm in this for a bit of both, and a bit more. I love entertaining people, and I would like to get more recognized, and hopefully become an insanely famous actor. Then I can get rich

Foote: Oh, so you wish to become a famous singer and actor. Now that's interesting. Were you ever in any drama plays in which you acted anything out in your education career?

Kester: Oh, not officially. I may join the drama club next year if I believe that it's good enough for me.

Foote: Back to your album, did any personel life experiences motivate you in the writing of some songs?

Kester: Uh, once I got mad at my mom and wrote Macho Mom, but I'm not putting that one on the CD. Other than that, no. I just try and get some funny material. Afterall, I'm not an actual pirate(Well, a YEARRRGHH Pirate that is)

Foote: Well Mr. Kester, that is all of the questions I have for you. Hope your future is bright. Happy recording.

Kester: Thank you! Buy my CD!

This is no joke! Kester plans on releasing an actual album this coming January and I'll be one of the first to demo it. Remember, you heard about it here first, at Buddy Foote's site. I did hear Kester sing before and it is very kind music to one's ears so hopefully his album will be great. And I can't wait to hear that pirate song. I'm not just excited about player-owned houses on Runescape now, but Kester's album. Strange Chris. Buy it because I may very well too.

Research Report

All it took was a quick search on Google and I got all of the basic information I need on where player-owned houses (in which players call POH) is heading. Plus I leaned some valuable information, such as the farming skill was released just a little while before I joined Runescape during the summer in July. Anyway, this is what I learned.

  • The carpentry skill and the whole POH scheme was actually promised when Runescape first came out. As you can see, Jagex is still promising.
  • With this carpentry skill, we're supposed to be allowed to make our own furniture for our POH's which should add a whole new market onto the already large one.
  • This skill is members-only which shouldn't be a shock to some.
  • Jagex's old excuse for not releasing POH's was that there wasn't enough space in the game for each and every individual person to own a house. If you read my other post today, I figured this.
  • The farming skill and POH's were actually supposed to go together but Jagex seperated them in order to bring the farming skill to it's players sooner. They also promised that POH's would be released by the end of this year with this statement. Quote, "Player Owned Houses are still being worked on along with the Carpentry skill for release towards the end of this year - Honestly! :-)" Honestly? With Jagex's Behind The Scenes for this December, they promised us nothing about POH's. I guess they're not too honest then. There's only a couple of days before the end of the year is over so unless they release this major update in the next three days, they will have let us down yet again. Maybe this is Jagex's excuse for making us use our online marketplaces longer.
That is all I have for now but I just wanted to make these points across to everybody. I think Jagex spent too much time on this Christmas update to even worry about POH's. Only time will tell however.

EDIT right after posting: Why does it seem that everytime after I do something that I find an interesting value to add. Here, read this. This is a forum topic on Runescape Community which is about the carpentry skill and POH's not being discussed in this month's Behind The Scenes, addressed to you by Paul, a Jagex mod himself. He states that this skill never was promised and it's release date was all but a prediction because people were nagging at Jagex for so long about this topic that they picked a time where they thought it may be released. Surely by what Paul is saying, there may still be three months or more (hopefully less) of work having to be put into this major update. So I salute Jagex for doing a good job and not putting POH's to the side. I'll just have to wait in time. Now my only problem is if they come out with POH's and not shops. Then I just wasted a lot of time.

Cannot Post...

Wanting to spread the word of my player-owned shops idea, I resorted to the Runescape Community forums to post it in the suggestion board. Being new to this part of the forum (I'm only familar with the marketplace ) I read the pinned rules and came to the Do Not Suggest List. So I'm reading through the list and after getting so far I thought, "It should be okay to make a new thread then about my shop idea." Then, the very last "do not suggest" (#45) says the following:

45. Player Owned Houses/Shops
Jagex has announced they will be adding Player-Owned-Houses, and until they do we have no clue what to expect. Consider these suggestions banned from now until they are added.

Well, the good news is that Jagex is adding player-owned houses. Now I don't see how that is going to work out unless they made a housing development of some sort where everybody built there houses in one big block of a map. That's why I suggested a marketplace/flea market area for the player-owned shops because the marketplace is already there, you just walk in and rent a stall. When player-owned housing comes out and it's the way I think it's going to be, there will be houses spread all across Runescape. And you have the problem of servers. When you switch servers, will your house go with you? If so, your house might overlap another. I just don't see this happening.

Unleased way back when I first joined Runescape said that the houses we build might only be visable to us. Well, that ruins the whole idea of it. People will be walking throuh the walls of your house because it's not there to them, only you. I don't see that happening either, and it destroys the whole idea of a shop.

Whatever Jagex does though will hopefully turn out very positive and I'll agree with it 100%. I'll have to do more research though on player-owned houses and what Jagex is doing so far in their development of this new feature/skill. I guess this new skill is carpentry. In that case, we can make chairs out of wood which I wouldn't be surprised if that was the only thing Jagex gave us.

Also, Zult made a point yesterday. Even if they never came out with player-owned shops and demand was high for them, Jagex would just sit back and say that we have our internet forums to go on to sell our goods. And I agree. Our forums save them the trouble of having to put up any player-owned shops right away. Maybe they're just all talk about this new feature, getting us excited, but really they won't release it and we'll just go on using the forums. And if everybody shut down the marketplaces in forums, Jagex woud just say, "Your lost. For members there's one on our site."

C'mon player-owned shops, we need you.

Anyway just now the "mystery picture" I posted early this morning was guessed correctly. The correct answer was indeed the Nintendo Gamecube:

I don't think I'm going to have another mystery picture because I really have nothing to do it with.

Anyway, have a good one. Time for me to do some research on player-owned houses.

Player-Owned Shops

It's currently about 2:30 in the morning so anything I type may not be my best work. But I am here to sprend the word of a Runescape suggestion that I've been working on and will farther work on but this time I'm trying to get Jagex to see it and hopefully follow it. This suggestion I have is player-owned shops. Now just think about it. Imagine the large forest near Lumbridge had a section taken away from it, now becoming paved with gravel and stone. Stalls are set up around this area and a fence is put around it to keep the local goblins out. This area shortly after then opens to the public as a flea market, pay to get a stall and sell while buyers walk around looking through your goods and have a spending rampage. Imagine that your bank is filled with junk and nobody will take it by shouting out in public, "Selling unids; 1k each!". So you go to this flea market with your unids, rent a stall, and wait, with people eventually coming and buying them all. Maybe have an indoor flea market so that there could be multiple levels to it.

I would love this idea and I'm sure many others would to. When you go to a bank, all you hear is selling this or buying this and the word "noob" repeated a thousand times. Well, with this member-only feature, banks will become less crowded with merchants who will flock to the flea markets to sell goods. Maybe spread three flea markets across the region, one in each kingdom.

Let me ask you, which out of the following should banks really be used for?

The second Lego man is doing the right thing. He is going to the bank to access his bank account and that's it. No selling or cluttering up of the chat box. Even at the flea market there is a flood control for merchants so that they can only post, say, every twenty or thirty seconds a message. "Cheapest fish over here!"

Depending on how much you spend on the stall you buy will depend on how much you can sell at once in the shop window. Although whatever is in your inventory can be added when stock is being sold out. Notes are allowed. Also you can set the fee of what you're selling to whatever you want it be. Should the ball of wool be 30 gp or 3k gp?

Please spread the word with your Runescape friends and demand Jagex for this game feature because I believe it would suit all of us good. Go on forums, write petitions, spread the word by talking about it while woodcutting or fishing (like I was today and will continue to). I bet Zult 6 gp that Jagex would add this by April. I don't want to lose that money!

I have a new little game now with not much of an original aspect behind it. It's practically just "Guess the Picture". I take a close-up of an object lying around and you can guess what it is if you want to. Guessing will take place in the comment section below. Whowever guesses first will get honorable mention for...winning first. Here is your first one:

Too easy but I wanted any readers to get an easy start off to things. It is video game related. Only hint I'll give. Good guessing...

Have a good one. Time for me to hit the hay myself...

Interview with Blogger #2

I seem to always have a sequel to something that I do. First I have "Find the Pizza Boy" with it's sequel and now my fake interviews with Blogger series. I am not mocking Blogger in any way with these interviews. Although read my first interview with Blogger otherwise this'll make no sense. My next interview will be with something other than Blogger for once. These random questions came from Blogger's own random questions. They're a genius to come up with these because they make you think of the logic behind the question. Enjoy!

Blogger: Well Mr. Foote, you have convinced us to come and interview you again so we’re here.

Foote: I would look at it as an interview but as a study on individual people to see if they drown underwater with their eyes open.

Blogger: Want us to pack up and leave now?

Foote: Hell no! I paid a fifty dollar bribe for you guys to come back. I have no other junk to put on my site so this is all I have. I don’t want to have to jymp you.

Blogger: Jymp?

Foote: Ringtoe?

Blogger: Whatever you say Buddy.

Foote: It’s strange how you always call me something different…

Random Question #1:
What was the stage name of your favorite actress before she was born?

Foote: First of all, I don’t even have a favorite actress. I hate ¾ of all of the Hollywood women out there anyway because they’re just plain stupid. Sure they’re attractive and everybody is looking up images of them on Google every second of a day, but they’re as smart as a rat. Scratch that, rats are smarter. They’re as smart as my dog because my dog won’t come into my house when I open the door, and my dog’s a woman too. I’d rather go after a smart college educated woman than a Hollywood slut. But I don’t even get the question you asked. How could I like somebody before they were born? Plus I wasn’t even on this world for that long to see a Hollywood actress even grow up. The closest one that I did see grow up were those twins from Full House.

Blogger: The Olsen twins, sire?

Foote: Do not interrupt me in my mindless rants about nothing, okay?

Blogger: Yes madam Foote.

Foote: Wow, you’re already getting me mad. Anyway, my answer would be Princess Peach.

Blogger: Why?

Foote: Well, she was never really born and she was in a television show once as an “actress”.

Blogger: You have fantasies of video game characters?

Foote: I never said that. Now move on before I quit and want my fifty dollars back as a rain check. We’re boring the audience.

Random Question #2:
Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?

Foote: Well, they both need water but I don’t think they’re misspelled because they’re thirsty. That’s like saying I lost the remote controller and the telephone because my hands were itchy. I suck as comparisons. Anyhow no. Sponges and tongues are misspelled because ¾ of the United States of America is made up of Hollywood sluts that I liked before they were born and you know that Hollywood sluts are as smart as a sponge. Seriously, what they use they can’t spell. Catch me on that drift?

Blogger: Hollywood actresses use sponges and their tongues a lot?

Foote: Exactly.

Random Question #3:
Try writing your name with your other hand. Where was that person raised?

Foote: Let me find a piece of paper. Printed or signature? Wait…what!? Where was who raised with what hand now?

Blogger: You have to tell us that.

Foote: God, these are random questions. Well, I don’t have any paper or pencils on m…put that back in your coat pocket!…so I’m going to visualize the case scenario and imagine sloppy handwriting written with my left hand:

Buddy Foote

Foote: Now where is he from? Hmm… I believe he is from China.

Blogger: And why is that?

Foote: You never asked for an “and explain your answer” in the question! You said to write my name with my other hand and say where that person was raised.

Blogger: You only said where he was from. Not raised.

Foote: He was raised in Flordia, his father got eaten by a gator, his mother moved to Hollywood to become a slut, his brother died by falling off of his bed, his grandmother took him in at the age of 13, he became a gang banger two months later, shot his grandmother, got shipped in a U.S. postal box to San Francisco, was loaded into a cargo ship, and exported over to China where he lived with my 7th grade English teacher and raised a family of forty-nine. Happy?

Blogger: You’re a hippy.

Foote: …….

Random Question #4:
In the dream where you show up to school naked, why do you never go swimming?

Foote: I didn’t go swimming because my favorite egg wasn’t born yet.

Blogger: Will you please stop with that joke already?

Foote: Sure, whatever. I never did dream of going to school naked and my school doesn’t have a swimming poo…oh wait, that dream! Yes, the swimming pool was a puddle up on the football field during a game, correct? Yea, I wasn’t nude though. I was very well dressed in clothes. But remember, I don’t remember my dreams.

Random Question #5:
You get to ride the big roller coaster three times in a row. What will keep your dad from taking a bite out of your candy apple?

Foote: God, these questions are like from that old show on Nickelodeon called All That where they were seated on a stool in a dark room and a guy asked nonsense questions and they weren’t allowed to even answer because the guy answered for them.

Blogger: We don’t answer for you.

Foote: Right… Is it the Olsen twins? Does that ring a bell?

Blogger: We were helping you.

Foote: Anyway, back to the question. Now we must calculate a steady mathematical equation here based on the radius of a bowling ball and how many times DrakeGTA will get laid in a day. Add those together and divide by .23 and you should get the G-force of the rollercoaster which says how big it is. Now multiply the G-force by three. If the G-force is high, take your father on that ride three times. Hopefully he’ll be vomiting too badly to even think of biting into your candy apple. If the rollercoaster has a low G-force and you think “big” as being the ferry-go-round, then give your father six beers, wait twenty minutes, and go eat your candy apple. Case solved.

Random Question #6:
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

Foote: I am actually stumped a bit on this one. I think maybe spoons evolved from forks or if forks evolved from spoons, I don’t know. Forks can kill people a lot easier than spoons so I say yes, they did indeed evolve.

Blogger: That is it for today, Mr. Foote. Hope we did waste your time.

Foote: Yes you did. Now leave! I have Runescaping to do!

PKing and Pures?

UnleasedFury (maybe you'll remember him) and I have been fighting a lot on Runescape's personel messanging system. Mostly over two main topics, pures and PKing. Now if you're not used to Runescape or the terms used in the MMORPG, I'll be happy to explain them.

A pure in Runescape is a player account in which the player only levels up in one skill. For example, if you ever see a level three chopping down yew trees (which requires level 60 woodcutting), then he or she is most likely a pure. Mostly people who have a pure also have another account called a main account in which that account will be stronger than the pure. Most pures are arranged in combat. A pure can specilize in certain combat skills, such as attack, strength, defence, magic, prayer, or range. That way somebody can underestimate you when they fight you in the wilderness (a PKing region of the game) and you can easily "pwn" them because your strength is 50 but your combat level is only 21. You can also have 21 attack, 22 strength, and 19 defence to be level 21, this not being a pure. But you could see how one can underestimate another.

PKing simply stands for player killing, this meaning when one player fights and kills another player. Player as in not being an NPC (non-playable character). You can PK in the wilderness only but you could also "safely" kill and fight others in the Duel Arena (member's only) but dueling isn't condsidered PKing. PKing can be a dangerous sport. Clans are made in Runescape that set out to go in the wilderness united and have huge clan wars. I never went in the wilderness and probably never will.

Anyway now that we defined pure and PKing, I will set out to say why Unleased and I are fighting.

First of all, I never understood the purpose of multiple accounts in Runescape. Everybody is saying it's fun, including Unleased, for making pures or starting all over again for that freashing experience, but my theory is make an account, level up so that's a powerhouse, and walk around while everybody stares at you, jaws opened, looking at your whip and god armour. Then they ask you how much money you have in your bank and you proudly exclaim "300 million!" Then everybody crowds around you like children in nursey school ready to be read a story book asking you how you made such a fortune (and you'll have those regular beggers) and you'll just whisper, "It is indeed a secret." But I'm getting off of track here. Unleased has been personel messanging me lately on his pure account saying, "Pure!" and "You should make a pure!" and "I'm having so much fun with my pure!" I just don't see the fun behind it! It's a pain in the neck leveling up so why would you want to start from scratch? He said PKing is the whole fun aspect behind it when a level 51 wants to kill you in the wilderness (while you're level 21 with 50 strength) and you go and kill him. Well, bahumbug to that. I don't like PKing either because I am afraid to go into the wilderness and die. He said that's fun. Well, I'm not the kind of person on Runescape who makes fun of others or hurts them in any way by saying "noob" or "I owned you". Those are the two most disrespectful and annoying phrases in the game. Thank God they took out "pwn" and censored it. When in the Dueling Arena, I say "good fight" if I die or kill them or "congradulations" or "I'm going to die" or anything similar. Not anything like "ownage" or "prayer noob!" or "you suak!" For crying out loud I don't even talk like that on the game!

Anyway, I didn't make one point here at all besides getting mad over words. But I will always be fighting with Unleashed in the "pure and PKing war". He finds a god upper value to them and I do not. PKing doesn't bother me as much as the whole pure thing.

Anyway, here are some random pictures taken by my Nixon 4800 digital camera and the screen capturing device built in on SwiftSwitch.

On the second row of the above pictures (I hope you know the difference between a column and a row) I met an awesome friend this morning while playing Runescape who calls himself by the name of Zult. He's combat level 109. Now Zult amazed me because he was actually nice to me. Here I had this sterotypical image in my head that people with high levels go around like a powerhouse, being all "tough" and "mean" to other players through name calling or saying something like, "Why did you even become a member with that armor" or "There's a lot of greens here" (that last statement would be hard to explain but I'll try. See on those pictures how the text that says "(level-109)" by Zult's name is red. That means he is much higher than my combat level. Therfore if you scroll over somebody's name and their combat level comes up green, that means their combat level is much lower than yours. Got it?). But Zult, he didn't do any of those things. We had very good conversations, became friends, and I even pinpointed him to this blog and promised him a picture of the two of us on it. And to Zult, my armour matches now. I got a rune chainmail.

I also made another friend online today at the Dueling Arena who I kept on killing. He's level 51. We might be PKing friends if Unleased ever proves me wrong and conviences me that PKing is fun.

Now, have a good day.

Late Night Sufing

I love my lappy. I'm up in my room on my bed with the lights off surfing the internet and talking to Drake at eleven at night without getting yelled at by my grandmother telling me that my mother will cut my head off in the morning. With my wireless USB mouse that is. I don't even know why I'm posting but I'm bored. Check out these cartoons. They're messed up. Yes....

I thought my "complainage" about my laptop was over, but I'm wrong. I turned my volume all the way down just before when I realized my laptop speaker was halfway up but there's no way to turn that down or up that I know of. So while trying to be quiet talking in Google Talk, I kept on hearing that loud beeping noise once somebody sent me a message. I'll have to go fool around with my control panel later on.

This laptop was a major surprise to me on Christmas morning though. When I unrapped my Nixon 4800 (which I even picked out with my father so I knew I was getting it) I thought that was going to be my only Christmas present and I was happy with that. Then I remember seeing this other box and I'm wondering, "What could this be?" So I open it and inside of the wrapping paper I see a green and blue box with a wireless Broadband router on it. My father and I way back when were thinking of putting our old sucky and hardly in one piece of a computer desktop upstairs that is just sitting down in the cellar by my father's couch so he told me that with that router that we could do that and I could have internet access. So I said, "Good, even better." I was just concentrating on the camera at the time. Then there was a bigger box that was underneath the router box so yet again I thought, "What could this be?" I ripped a little piece of wrapping paper off of the side and saw "Gateway" and "AOL" on it. I put two and two together and got, "This must be a laptop!" And indeed it was. I remember cursing with joy when I fully unwrapped the thing of beauty.

Sory if I made any typing mistakes...this laptop keyboard I'm not fully used to yet...

Night.

Blogger's Interview With Me

The following is a fictional interview with Bloger that never happened. The questions asked are just the random questions found in the profile of most bloggers. Blogger is indeed not crazy and their questions are very logical. This is not a mock to Blogger in any way. I just was bored and saw this to be a good idea. If it wasn't for Blogger, I wouldn't have this page or this whole post at all, and I probably would have never come back to blogging. I love you Blogger. Enjoy this interview that I made up though:

Random Question #1
When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?

Foote: What the hell!? When I open my eyes underwater, will I think I’ll ever drown!?

Blogger: Yes, that is what we asked you.

Foote: First of all, your eyes has nothing to do with your lungs. If I opened my mouth underwater and took in a deep breathe, then I would worry about drowning. Not my eyes. Second of all, if you’re worried about drowning in the first place, get out of the water. Do not go near water at all or look at it, for you will surely drown. I just don’t see the logic behind this question…

Blogger: This is a yes or no question, Foote.

Foote: Umm…no then.

Random Question #2:
What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?

Foote: I dreamt about the sugar plum fairy and Cinderella. No! Of course not! Here’s another one of those questions like the above one. First of all, there’s always spiders crawling into your mouth. You just can’t see them. When you’re at Wal-Mart looking for shoes that’ll fit your huge, hairy feet, you’ll have a tiny orange spider crawling through your forest of facial hair looking for a passageway into your huge, gaping mouth. So shut up. Keep your mouth closed at all times and while you’re at it, you’re nostrils pinched close. They like going in there too.

Blogger: You’re getting off the track of the question. You’r….

Foote: There is no track to the question! While you’re sleeping, spiders crawl into your mouth resulting in you eating them. Therefore while you’re sleeping and feasting on your midnight snack of spiders, you’re dreaming. Therefore every night that you sleep and dream, you’re eating spiders. And I don’t feel like listing every single dream I ever had in my life.

Blogger: Can you list one?

Foote: I don’t remember my dreams.

Blogger: Do you like the taste of spiders?

Foote: I’m sleeping so I don’t know how they taste…just move on.

Random Question #3:
Never mind the turtle. Don't you think you're sure to win?

Foote: Don’t you mean never mind the spider?

Blogger: This is a new question.

Foote: Oh… Wait…. What?

Blogger: Please just answer. We don’t have all day.

Foote: How can I answer when this question makes no sense. You can think of this question in two ways. You can think of that one story where the tortoise beats the hare in the race or if you’re at the carnival and your girlfriend wants a stuffed turtle from the ring throwing game but you want that awesome goldfish instead…

Blogger: Well, how do you interpret it?

Foote: I believe the logical answer is the “Tortoise and the Hare” way of it in which the answer would be, no, I don’t think I’ll win because the slow and fat people always beat the skinny and fast one. Strength is the value behind that. But I’d rather interpret the question about the whole fair scheme of things. I would indeed win both, the turtle and the goldfish.

Blogger: But we said never mind the turtle.

Foote: I did. I won the goldfish but my girlfriend complained so much and threatened of a break-up that I ran back and won the turtle.

Random Question #4:
Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

Foote: Now you’re talking. A question that is logical and would get an honest, straight up answer. Well, my statue would be made of recycled plastic bags and I would be honored for being the worst blogger of all time. Scratch that. I was only kidding. Well, I am the worst blogger. Anyway, my statue would be made of either zinc or copper with some gold and silver mixed in and I’d be honored for being the greatest author of the 21st century.

Random Question #5:
Please come up with a more appropriate name for the ringtoe:

Foote: Ringtone?

Blogger: Ringtoe. You know, a ring that you put on your toe.

Foote: Oh. I misheard you. Another name for it? I’m horrible at the ability of making up names for stuff. Normally whatever it’s called I call it. But I shall call it…can I phone a friend on this?

Blogger: Sure…I guess…

Foote: *gets on the phone*

*gets answering machine*

Foote: Hey Drake, I have a question because Blogger is interviewing me and all and they let me phone a friend. But anyway, what would a more appropriate name for a ringtoe be? Please call be back as soon as possible.

Blogger: Wasn’t home?

Foote: No…anyway, let me think…

Blogger: Would you like to skip this question?

Foote: I never let a question that comes my way go without an answer. I would call a ringtoe a toe ring.

Blogger: Nice and simple…

Random Question #6:
Compose the lyrics to a new national anthem that features an animal sound at least once:

Foote: This is a very creative concept. Does it have to be a United States national anthem?

Blogger: It doesn’t have to be but it could be.

Foote: Fine then…

Oh Runescape!
How the clashing of the swords and the moans of the dead echo throughout your beautiful land!
Where the zombies walk yet again and the monkeys yell “Boo yah!”
Oh, I suck at writing national anthems! Moo!

Blogger: That’s it?

Foote: Give me a brake! It took three seconds to come up with.

*phone rings*

Foote: Hello?

DrakeGTA: I’m back. Ringtoe? Don’t you mean ring tone?

Foote: That’s exactly what I said.

DrakeGTA: I need to look that up. Sorry. Do you mean the second or third toe?

Foote: I don’t know. It’s Blogger’s question. Their questions are crazy.

Blogger: They are not!

DrakeGTA: I looked it up on wiki page, no hits there. Let me try Google. Okay, the only hits I get on Google are for ringtones misspelled. Hm…toes. Maybe “this little piggy”…

Foote: Thanks Drake. Sorry for bothering you.

DrakeGTA: Don’t worry, you didn’t. It’s not like I have a Asian chick right here next to me wondering what the hell I’m talking about. Damn it! Where are you going honey!? Get back here! I’ll….BYE!

*hangs up*

Foote: Yes…

Blogger: And good-bye to you, Foote. We wasted enough time on you.

Foote: Yea, whatever, bye…

Wireless USB Mouse

This afternoon I went to Circuit City to get the USB mouse I wanted. Looking around, I didn't find the cheap $10 one I saw on the internet but found something much more appealing. A wireless USB mouse. Yes, it was twenty dollars more but still, the whole wireless aspect of it got me to think about the fact that I could be on the other side of my room while surfing the net. Now I don't know why I would ever do a stupid thing like that, but you have to keep those fundamentals in mind. Actually the real reason I got it is because wires suck and I hate untingling them. You should see my gaming consoles. I can't even pick them an inch off of the surface that they're on the wires are so tangled. But anyway, here is proof that flash on a camera sucks and doesn't suck:

The picture on the left was taken with the flash on my digital camera while the picture on the right was taken without the flash on. With these two pictures in mind and in my choice of matter, flash sucks. In some situations like this it's good, but otherwise, I'd rather go with the natural lighting seen in the second picture. Plus you could actually see the Runescape game in progress like shown here. But I don't know, it just matters with the situation and all I guess. And the photographer. I just love my Nixon 4800 though...

Anyway, I felt like taking pictures of my cats so I did. You're going to be getting a lot of pointless pictures from now on because when I have a camera, I go crazy taking pictures, and I like to share pictures I take....

From left to right: Gizmo, Patches

From left to right: Pepper, Pumpkin

That's all I have for you tonight. Happy holidays and I hope you had a great Christmas!

EDIT right after posting: Here and here are two other good examples of how clear this camera can take pictures of a digital screen. I'm just amazed by this because, like shown here, this is the best my old digital camera got to taking pictures. Most pictures came out like this.

New Laptop

Wow...I had the best Christmas on record this year; getting only about six gifts but who cares about the quanity, it's about the quality. Four of those six presents are really good. These being an opensight .22 rifle, laptop computer, 4800 Nikon digital camera, and a wireless broadband router. These presents will be the most used presents ever gotten by me on Christmas; even using my laptop right now to type this. Although I do indeed have a problem with the laptop that gets me mad and that is the touch pad. Sure, the touch pad is awesome and all, but there's a problem. Press it even lightly and it'll act as your left-button on a mouse which sucks because I can't even navigate a web site without clicking on random stuff such as ads or links that I do not want to access. I don't see the point in having that because right underneath the touch pad is the left and right buttons of a mouse. My solution, buying a USB mouse being that I have four USB ports. There's a good $10 one at Circuit City and my friend Craig got me a $15 gift card for it just yesterday so everything works out.

Right now, I'm sitting up on my bed writing this while John is playing Mario Power Tennis. He's staying over for the night. For Christmas he got a Mark Hoppus (from Blink 182) bass guitar. It's awesome. I have some random pictures now to show you that I took with my "ghetto" digital camera.

All of those pictures are of John, some due to request and some due to total boredom. I'm amazed on how clear a picture comes out on this camera, espically since my old one wasn't even one megapixel.

Now I'm going to go probably take more pictures and look around the web with my laptop. Good bye.

Merry Christmas!

Well, offical merry Christmas! Now, look:

By these two pictures you can see two things. One, I have a Christmas tree. Okay...that's not one. But you can tell what I got for Christmas if you read my previous posts. I did indeed get my Nikon 4800 digital camera by seeing the two pictures; and in the second picture, a laptop computer. On my old blog, I used to go on saying that I wanted a laptop computer. Then I changed my mind. But now, I'm siting on my living room chair typing my 99th blog entry. I hate the keyboard and the touch pad is a pain in the neck, but I plan on getting a USB mouse and keyboard sooner or later.

So, yet again, Merry Christmas! I'm going over to my grandmother's now so good-bye...

Christmas Eve

Well, Merry Christmas. Or at least should I say an early one. The time of the year that we're all eager to wait for. Although this year, I don't really feel in the Christmas mood that I once felt as a younger child in previous years. I hardly even helped around the house today. I made my bed and cleaned a corner in the hallway where I cluttered everything with my school supplies from last year and this early Augest; that's it. Today, I woke up at six, played NFL 2K2, then went on the computer all day playing Runescape. That sounds really like the holidays, doesn't it? I swear if I ever one day have a family, we're going to go into the woods in Canada, cut a small evergreen tree down, and set it in the parlor of my future house. Now that is Christmas... Not playing Runescape all day cutting down yew trees complaning about the word "noob" and that we can't sit down in the game.

Anyway, Craig came over for an hour today and we exchanged presents. While he was here and we were upstairs playing NFL 2K2, to which he was killing me in the game by a touchdown or two, my mother notified me that Santa was coming on the firetruck giving out candy. So we ended up going outside and while waiting with Santa being over East Jermyn, we were putting our faces in snow. Yes, just plopping our face on the bushes in the front of my house with snow on it. It felt...weird. Anyway, when Santa came, he walked off of the firetruck with one bag of candy, giving it to Craig. Now, either they thought we were brothers and that we were going to share it (which we did anyway) or that I was Craig's father, uncle, etc. but they only gave one bag of candy. It doesn't matter anyway because I steal my mother's chocolate balls with milk chocolate (and in another kind white chocolate) smooth filling. God those are good. I used to campain Crystal Club Orange Soda (but unfortunely they lost the contract and sent the federal government after me with their tax dollars) but now I'm going to campain my chocolate balls. ...no comment...

Well, I'm just going to sit back and watch the 24 hour showing of The Christmas Story on TBS. Yes, I'm going to watch all 24 hours of it straight. Night. Merry Christmas. Happy holidays.

I Give Up

If you read my other post today, you would've viewed my huge goals for Runescape which I wanted to complete by the time Christmas vacation was over. Well, I give up. It was not even hardly a day of establishing my goals (I was working on them at eleven o' clock at night yesterday) and I gave up. Why? Because my attack is now 52 (was 50 before my last post) and that took forever. Plus I got bored fighting the same monster over and over again. I might just go to the Duel Arena and hang out there, but that's it.

Second, I hate my computer. I was just punching the computer monitor just now which isn't too smart, because if I smashed it, I would've grabbed a hammer and destroyed the tower. Why? Runescape lagged so badly that it just disconnected but it was literally going in slow motion. There's a hufe risk if that happens. What would happen if I turned my game on while in the wilderness and there were some pkers after me. I would probably die.

Anyway, once I got my attack to 52 (which made my hitpoints go up by one and my combat level -- now 56), I headed to Draynor to steal some seeds from the stalls there. Well, it was slow and that lady who yelled at me for stealing the seeds I think followed me around on purpose. NPC's aren't that smart but she--she was coming after me to destroy my day. So then I turned the game off.

Anyway, Gmail is really getting on my nerves already. I just think first of all that Google hates me. First, they take away my Adsense accusing me of click fraud which I never did. And now, they're allowing spam to go into my main inbox for Gmail. I have Google Talk and in the corner of my computer screen I can view if I have mail or not. So before I saw that I had seven new messages and I thought, "Great! Hopefully one of these is a reply from Yahoo ads." But no, two of those seven messages were actually worthy to be called mail. The other five was spam. Japenese text, great deals, and enlargement patches of spam. I hate spam and adware already. I can't even type my blog entry or play Runescape without my window that I'm interacting with fades and then three minutes later a pop-up of adware comes out of nowhere. I really need to run a scan...

Now, two more days until Christmas. Let the countdown of minutes begin. I was talking to my friend, Craig, today in school and he was telling me that he was going to stay up late tonight on the computer (probably until five) so that he'll be tired for tomorrow night because he's too anxious for the morning to go to bed. Everybody has that feeling of not being able to sleep on Christmas Eve. Well, I lost that feeling this year already. I just wanted to have a good Christmas this year, my main priority was not the packages of presents underneath the tree but the whole value of family. Sadly enough that is not pulling through too well. But anyway, I hardly get presents anymore. Ever since I wanted a $300 drum set for Christmas last year, got it, and I don't play it anymore (just due to being embarassed and somewhat shy), my father is going lean on what I get. So I have been told that I'm only getting one present for Christmas. I bet my father is going to be a "smart ass" and give me a block of wood and say, "Merry Christmas." I'd then nail the wood to the door in my room and create a lock so that nobody will come in to bother me. Yes...that's what I would do...

As you may be able to see, I'm back in the blogging mood. During the past, say, twenty days or more, I lost that whole joy of typing on a blog, mostly to Runescape. However, now I'm starting to lose my spirit in Runescape and bit more into blogging. So, maybe that's a good or bad thing...I dunno.

And I bet for Christmas I'm getting a new Nixon 4800 digital camera.

Merry Christmas!

EDIT (right after posting): I uploaded that song called "The Raven" by Alan Parsons Project to putfile.com that I was talking about the other day; the song I'm addicted to listening to. If you want to hear it yourself, go here. Good day.

Ultimate Runescape Time

Being now that it is offically Christmas vacation, I plan to spend this blessed holiday by playing Runescape non-stop. Which means I will most likely have pink eye by next Tuesday. Anyway, I have set a couple of goals to pass or at least get near this Christmas. Just looking at my goals makes me sick to my stomach, being that I'm trying to get my attack to 60 right now so I can weild my dragon longsword. That'll probably take me two days. Although my main goals is to get attack, magic, and smithing up; all of these so I can complete the Dragon Slayer quest. Here is a picture of my current stats that I just took:

As you can see, my stats aren't that impressive and I have a lot of low skills. Now as the Christmas vacation progresses onward, I plan to release a picture to you every night with my progress thusfar. And here are my goals....don't piss in your pants and laugh at me just yet.

  • Level 10 fletching
  • Level 30 ranging
  • Level 22 slayer
  • Level 50 firemaking
  • Level 35 smithing
  • Level 27 magic
  • Level 42 thieving
  • Level 55 mining
  • Level 60 attack
  • Level 33 crafting
  • Level 40 cooking
As you can see, this is very impossible for me, yet it is a challenge that I'm ready to take. So please, wish me luck.

Anyhow I was playing (or you can also say badly screwing up with my game) with MEd, a map editing utility used in modding the maps of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas, just the other day and I was making Drake Mountain, a monument to DrakeGTA, so I placed a building on top of it, the Liberty Tower.

Drake Mountain is located in Red County on that one hill with a small shack on it near the railroad tracks. The one problem I have is that to see the object I place, the tower, you practically have to be right next to it. Here I wanted to see the huge building from Palmino Creek but no, I can't. Maybe my draw distance mod interfers with it...

Anyway, time to go get my attack on Runescape to 60. Have a good one.

Getting Better

Well, just as an update here (my new idea is to post hopefully one blog entry a day from now on) but I want to state that I believe my cat Pumpkin, which I mentioned in previous topics but you can read about his sickness in "Where Am I", is getting better. We finally found a food that he'll eat, tuna fish, and he's always nagging at us for more food these days like he once did. So hopefully tuna fish will make him fatter but he sure as a lot more than energy too. So maybe this is a Christmas micracle for my family.

I just woke up around nine from sleeping on the couch all afternoon while my mother and father were getting Christmas lights and ornaments for the tree out of the attic. We actually finally have our Christmas tree come. Took my family long enough, although I can't say I helped too much in my own efforts. But now my Christmas spirit will finally be soaring with the tree up. Yet I feel very bad watching the news recently and seeing that U.S. troops from around the area have to head back to Iraq right before Christmas. So most families with a member in the army or marines had to celebrate Christmas three to one weeks before it actually occurs. Now this really saddens me because first off, I still don't understand why we have any troops over there. We captured Saddam, life appears to be looking a lot more decent, there's not as many attacks as there used to be, etc... Yet one of the reasons for the recent attacks is on American troops because they want us out of their country. Sometimes I wonder why the U.S. has to seem like the "superpower" of the world. But anyhow, second off, they have to be away from family and friends during the time of the year when everybody wants to be together. So alas I pray in my heart to them and also victims of any hurricanes this year who do not have their old property anymore or lost loved ones, such as the harsh hurricanes of Katrina and Rita.

So...tomorrow is the last day of school before the holidays and I'm mad about that. Which aspect? Tomorrow. Most schools have half-days or no school but no, Lakeland is going to be ourselves and be laughed at by going a full day.

And Gmail is starting to let spam go into my mailbox...

And I've been listening to "The Raven" by the Alan Parsons Project since I came on the computer. Good song. I have an addiction to Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" since I read it in English class recently.

Have a good one and Merry Christmas.

Links Galore! #3

Back in the early days of Buddy Foote's Blog v.2, I always included links to other websites, such as DrakeGTA's format of his website, but as I started dripping in more toward my personal life, there was no need to include links. What am I going to do, when I talk about my school am I going to include a link to it? Well...I think I already did once. But anyhow, that just doesn't happen. Maybe if I get the digital camera I want for Christmas...well...with a digital camera, you won't even see any text. I'd just say, "Here are some pictures:" and there's the whole post entry with about fifty pictures. I bet the day I do get a new digital camera, I'll have fourty-two pictures of nothing in a single post. I like to take pictures so beware. You saw that from my San Andreas snapshots. Plus another thing to keep in mind, I forget everything easily. So, if I once promised you something in an old blog entry and never came around to it or if there seems to be a huge gap from one post to another, that's just because I never review my old posts. But that'll change when I post the "History of Buddy Foote's Blog" which is coming up soon.

Now I will present you links with text. Yes, text links. How original....

  • If you want to make money from your blog or website, then you should check out ProBlogger. This site gives you advice on Google Adsense, which clearly hates me, and many other great money makers. And advertising tips. Anyhow, I learned of Yahoo ads from this site (as you'll clearly see three of them on a page) so I recently signed up for the beta of it. Hopefully I'll be accepted. But with my luck with website ads, I'll get nothing, yet again. Check it out. It's clearly a good read.
  • This site/blog, Joystiq, is one of the best sites to get all of the recent gaming news and trival information. I go on it quite regulary and you should too.
  • Jack Thompson may have something going for him and may be right afterall about video game violence being that violent games were around since 1972! Quite interesting, eh? Actually I'm being very sarcastic and just referring to this uncyclopedia article about this history of video game violence. If you're not familar with uncyclopedia then I'll tell you what is going on. Uncyclopedia is a website sort of mocking (or at least what I'm making out of it) wikipedia (a great online encylopedia) with made-up articles that are humorous and look quite fun to write. DrakeGTA made some of his own on his page and that may influence me to do so too in the near future. But next time I ever say Jack Thompson is right, tie me up on a railroad track ten minutes before a train is coming. Please.
  • If you like RPG Maker XP or use it at all and need some help or you can't build a house for your life, then this RPG Maker XP forum is for you. Some of the topics in the tutorial section helped me out so makes sure you view them. I am not a member of this forum by the way.
  • I was going to post a topic from Runescape Community but due to my bad luck, it doesn't exist. This topic changed the member's to create their own Runescape map (an island) so he could put them together on one big .png file and just...be happy. Although I have come to myself to make a Runescape island just for the heck of it. Not for this post I was talking about however or any post, just so that I could say I created a map. But, you can see it here. It's called Dwarf Island, but currently I'm working on a much better version of it. There's a huge explanation for the old one but I'm not going to post it because I only wrote 1/4 of it. Anyhow, I now challenge any readers who might be reading this to make their own island, in MSPaint or Photoshop or whatever you use. Then post it in the comments of this post. Here's a good guide that you won't be able to find because that topic is deleted.
  • I mentioned this Runescape helping site in the past, but I must mention it again because it's just that good. Rune Tips. I only use Rune Tips because...it's the only site worth of Runescaping time....
That's pretty much it. I have a lot of bookmarks but nothing of value just by searching through everything. Anyway, I hope at least one of these links interested you...hope. Anyway, I'm off to go play...

Runescape!

Sorry, I had to do that. Eh...Hola. Me llamo Buddy Foote. Me gusta mucho usar la computadora y jugar videojuegos. Me gustan la galletas y el platanos. !Nos Vemos!

Where Am I?

Where am I is a good question. Yes, I know. It's been a whole week since I posted and for the 100th, no 1,000th, no...I don't know, how many times I told you this and it still remains true to this very second, I am an addict. Not a drug addict or anything of that kind, but a Runescape addict. I'm so addicted to Runescape that I included a part of the game in a poem I have to do for English class that is due Wednesday. When I close my eyes at night, I see gnome warriors on terrorbirds fighting for their orbs. When I'm at school during lunch, I speak of chopping willows and killing zombies with a friend who also plays Runescape. He doesn't want his name mentioned on here at all anymore so that his true identity in Runescape will stay hidden. But of course, I have school this week and can't play it 24/7 like I did for the past three days (Friday was our second snow day this year). But...Christmas vacation is next week! Woot! Merry Christmas! I don't even have my Christmas tree up yet however... But the point is, Runescape being played 24/7 for 14 days.

Enough about Runescape. I'll go on about it later on if I have time. The main reason I wanted to post is because one of my cats, Pumpkin, is badly sick and to sadly say is dying. Now, Pumpkin is my favorite cat out of the other three cats I have. He's orange with deep green eyes that are...nice...but we're close buddies. He adopted this trait of jumping up and rubbing aganist my head nonstop. Now, he hardly does that at all. I might've talked a little bit about him before, but I don't remember so I'll speak more about him.

About three months ago in October is when we started to discover that he was getting sick. He starting vomiting a lot and didn't act like himself. My mother believed he jumped up on a shelf and ate a bamboo plant that may have been posionous even though the vet stated it wasn't. Starting in November, he stopped eating for a large period of time, even up to three days. We took him to the vet eventually. After staying overnight once, the vet told us that his liver was shutting down and to save him that we'd have to inject him with steroids. Now at this point, he was very skinny and you could tell he stopped eating. But after giving him pills and injecting him with steroids, he started acting like himself again. Jumping up and rubbing aganist my head, jumping on and attacking the older female cat, etc. but just normal habits for him. Then, he continued vomiting but still ate. Now just recently, the vomiting got worse and we continued taking him to the vet. And just recently, we took him to put him to sleep. But first they had to take blood work. When the results came back, his blood work was perfect, nothing wrong at all. So by what the blood work results said, he was extremely healthy. But as soon as we put him into the cat carrier and went into the truck, he threw up. Now, he started to throw up what appeared to be blood. And just four days ago, he stopped eating again so I hope his liver won't shut down because of that. But yesterday and today I got him to eat a little bit of canned cat food. And he seems to be acting better, but seems weak and is skinny as a pole, only weighing eight pounds.

I actually think he's not eating because he normally vomits after he eats so he might be figuring, I eat and I vomit it back up. So, he figured I won't eat then I won't have to vomit. And that's actually true. But he didn't vomit after eating yet so...I'll cross my fingers...

Yes...well, my 100th post is coming up soon and January 11th marks my one year of running a Buddy Foote Blog. And I'm thinking of closing the old one down so if you want to read it, go to the right side bar now and click on "Old Website".

Well, I'm too tired to go on and on about Runescape so.....night.....

Snow Day and Deer Hunting

Being that I'm highly addicted to that damn Runescape, I have hardly any time to post. I sit in feront of my computer, fishing raw lobsters and selling them, all day long. Although I now have two dragon weapons, a mace and longsword, after getting 100k gp from selling raw lobbies. Although I didn't always get money selling the lobsters, and I also now have 106 cooked lobsters and 20 blood runes. I bought the dragon long then but I got the dragon mace just by trading about 437 willow logs in Seers Village. If you want to buy a dragon long, go to Seers. I had a trade request right away. I also have two frog tokens but I don't have time to walk to Varrock anytime soon until I feel like runecrafting again and go mine essance. I might just skip that walk and go to East Ardounage instead and teleport that way... If you ever want to add me in Runescape, my name is Buddy Foote (isn't that a surprise?) and I'm normally always on world 84 unless I'm training on rock crabs, then I tend to skip around.

Anyhow after giving you my "brief" laydown on Runescape, I'll give you a laydown of the past two days. Friday we had about five to six inches of snow and I ended up not having school. So what did I do? Watch my nephew and neice while they were sick then I played Runescape. Today...wait...yesterday I went hunting and woke up at 4:30, getting into the woods around six. Wouldn't have helped because at the end of the day, around 2:30, a young doe came walking around in the brush below my tree stand. I didn't want to shoot it at first because it was young but it was so close and standed broad-sided for very long periods of time that I finally pulled the trigger. I hit the deer it it's gut so my father feared we would have to walk a couple of miles to track the doe down. We only walked up a hill not too far away from the tree stand (but seemed forever due to the thorn bushes and logs and the deep snow) and found the deer. It was lying in a puddle of blood, got up, and ran a bit more. Finally it fell. I learned later on that the bullet also paralyzed the doe's front leg. Good thing I shit the doe though because the little guy was so small that she wouldn't have survived a harsh winter like the one we're predicted to have. When my father was skinning her later on, he stated that there was hardly any fat on the deer. I also dragged this deer out of the woods solo this time...

So far this doe is my fifth kill. I killed three doe, one buck (a four-pointer), and a turkey (a hen).

Well, this deer season is over. Many more will come in my life though. Hopefully...

Now I must go do stuff and go to bed. Night.

Oh, by the way. I was playing with Windows Movie Maker the other day and learned that by making a movie in it, that you can compress the file size to make it smaller. I plan on uploading a file that was formly 20 MB big before being compressed to being less than 5 MB. Sure, quality is worse, but it still amazed me.

Field Trips Galore

Yet again, the reason that I didn't post in a week is because of my terrible addiction to Runescape. I got my fishing way up, got my woodcutting up a bit, and I'm starting to fletch. I plan on runecrafting soon enough but first I plan on actually doing the quest that allows you to runecraft and getting some wind tailmens by killing goblins in that one hut on the other side of the river from Lumbridge. Although I'm in West Ardounage killing guards, stealing cakes, and also I'm around the fishing spots in...what is it...Catherby? I don't know, that town to the west of White Wolf Mountain. Fishermen are pretty mean but sometimes I join in on the conversations a lot when there's a nice crowd around. I'm actually pretty talkative while fishing lobsters.

Anyway to direct your attention to the title of this post, I have two field trips this week. I had one today (to the local vo-tec center near Dickson City) and I'll have one tomorrow (to Scranton to see the Nutcracker). Now the strange thing is that I just have to happen to have these two field trips right next to one another, one being a grade trip and one being the music app. trip (meaning if you're in that class and pay, you're going). Plus, I never dreamed of having a lot of field trips in high school, but I have these two trips and I had the trip to the same vo-tec last year.

Now I may not even have school tomorrow because we're supposed to have nine inches of snow dumped on us tonight and tomorrow morning until noon. Hopefully tomorrow will be our first snow day. But I can't just sit around, playing Runescape, and reading Runescape skill guides over and over again all day, but I'd have to go hunting. Not a problem but I'm just telling you all of this for no reason whatsoever but maybe as a form of an update...?

Oh well. I think I might go play Runescape and study for a possible pre chemistry test that I might have tomorrow.

Here's some San Andreas pictures for anybody who cares...

A Lot of SA Pictures

While trying to download a 16 MB San Andreas user created movie from the internet and failing because it would stop at 50-90% done, I looked at the other sections of the downloading area and decided that I'll download the 10x draw distance mod. With the preview picture on that page, you can see the skyscrapers of Los Santos from the far side of Las Venturas on the strip. I was amazed. Talking to DrakeGTA last night on GoogleTalk, I was discussing the mod with him and he was slighty amazed too, without even seeing any pictures. Now this is a treat to him and for any reader. I used to complain all of the time about the PS2 version of San Andreas's draw distance. Now the PC version makes up for that. And now, this mod makes up for that. Although it's quite glitchy and with your camera, you have to zoom in on a certain point to get a clear shot because in some occasions, the locations in the distance would blink blue on and off and sometimes if you're on high elevation, like Mt. Chillad, the ground below you would dissapear. But besides that, this mod makes nice pictures.

Now for the pictures. I have a lot so bear with me.

With the SA admin console, I set my Pizza Boy so that it's weight was 50 tons, enabling it to hit any car and push that car along like a toy. Say having an army tank that would push along a car without having it explode. It was fun. Here's a shot of an unlucky fellow that I pushed off of a bridge in the desert.

Here's a little glimpse of the draw distance mod, although at night you're not going to get too much out of it.

Here's another unlucky guy I knocked off of the road.

It's still night here so you don't really get too much out of this picture, but you could clearly see the desert pretty good from the Big Pointy Building in San Fierro.

After taking the last picture, I jumped off the Big Pointy Building without a parachute (remember with my SA admin console that I have it set so CJ can never die) to experience my very first glitch with the mod. This was actually a major glitch which I fixed by turning my night goggles on and turning them back off. As you can see, everything is blue and appears cartoony through the shadows. The light is a normal color however. Looks like something messed around in Photoshop but clearly it isn't. Has also a cel-shaded look to it...

And it starts to get light out as I go back onto the Big Pointy Building. Here's a picture of Mt. Chillad and the San Fierro Airport, both seen perfectly clear from the building. Also as you can see in the right of the picture, some city blocks are not visable because the data probably didn't clearly load. A glitch I got a lot.

I don't know but I believe that's supposed to be fog setting in the bay. As you can see, great draw distance but still a lot of land didn't clearly load for me.

The whole Gant Bridge area seen from the top of the Big Pointy Building.

After taking the last picture, I teleported here using the SA admin console and then using the jetpack to get half-way up Mt. Chillad, I shot this wonderful picture of the San Andreas countryside. Note the Los Santos skyscrapers in the background.

From the same location as above, I zoomed in on my camera and got a nice shot of the Santa Maria Beach, including lighthouse and pier.

Now here is a major glitch that I started getting from this point on. As you can see, Mt. Chillad, the very ground below me that I was standing on, dissapeared and I was able to see San Fierro, also glitched up, in the place that the mountain path should be.

I then traveled to the very top of Chillad and took this picture. Appears to be glitch-free.

The bike race route going down the mountain.

Zooming in on Missionary Hill and it's structure from the highest point on Chillad.

An airplane that flew over my head. I realized that less planes fall from the sky on you in the PC version. Did they fix that problem?

I then teleported to the highest building in Los Santos where I found a great deal of draw distance to view. First shot, shown here, is of the mountain I was just on, Mt. Chillad, seen from the top of the building, in Los Santos.

Amazing draw distance of the LS police headquarters (or is that the city hall?), Los Santos International Airport, and Vederant Bluffs from the tallest building in Los Santos. By the way, all of the other pictures I'm going to post in this post today is from this building and I'm saying this so I don't have to keep on repeating myself.

A good picture of Red County and the rich districts of Los Santos, even including San Fierro and Fort Carson in Bone County!

Zoomed in on Fort Carson and the Big Ear, from that building.

Las Venturas seen perfectly even from that building, zoomed in.

Zooming in on the hood, Grove Street.

This horrible glitch was around the whole time which is the reason I zoom in on something. Zoom in on a certain location and only that location has to load, not causing that blinking on and off glitch to occur, which hurts the eyes by the way.

More zooming in draw distance. This time of Palmino Creek and Las Venturas.

Big Pointy Building as seen from the big tall building in Los Santos. My favorite image of the bunch is this one.

Another taste of the horrible glitch I had to experience.

I nice picture yet again showing the amazing draw distance.

And that is that. Peds and cars still don't spawn from far away though, but the scenic views are still nice. I might provide more pictures soon of this, but if that glitch is always happening, then I'll get rid of it and replace it with the old draw distance data.

Time to go. We're getting a lot of snow currently and we're expected to get two other storms Saturday into Sunday and then sometime Monday and Tuesday. Finally, snow.
