Daily Blog Special

Before dishing out my daily blog special (note the singular) that hasn't really been daily lately, I'm going to make a very brief announcement.

I have completed two quests during this weekend. These two quests were The Grand Tree and Monkey Madness. Finally I can finally wield a dragon scimmy, an inability that has been troubling me for some time now as I have come to realize that my dragon two hand is slow when it comes to training strength, but that's not saying I hate the lil' slugger (note that reference to one of my favorite Adult Swim anime shows from over the summer). So, I have purchased a dragon scimmy and I'm continuing to do slayer, as I'm only about 8k exp away from 54 slayer. After getting 55 slayer, I might try barrows using slayer dart -- might. And of course if you haven't realized by now, this small announcement is about Runescape.

I have been quite busy this weekend. Friday night I went to the high school football game [Lakeland vs. Lackawanna Trail, and we won 14-7] and only stayed until a part of the fourth quarter when Craig's mother took us home to his home where I stayed over for the night. Rumor has it and what also has been confirmed was that somebody had a gun at the game, and obsure rumor has it that it was fired but wasn't heard because it was a silencer. Then after staying over Craig's, doing The Grand Tree and starting Monkey Madness while he was doing the quests to do Swan Song and did the quest itself, I went to my nephew's fifth birthday party. Afterwards, my brother-in-law, my sister, and I went to see Jackass Number Two -- a fricking hilarious movie. Then I stayed at her house, finishing Monkey Madness this morning and writing half of my English essay, that I later finished around eight P.M. just a few hours ago. This essay is due for Friday, so don't ask why I completed it today in under five hours. Also Saturday night there were cop cars at uptown Jermyn along the Main Street that we saw, and from what we heard, some guy was loose in the woods near Jermyn with a loaded gun. Plus there was a drug bust at Jermyn a few days ago as they busted a few 14-16 year olds. Bad things are starting to happen close to home.

Now after these very long interuptions, I'll finally give you my single daily blog special, as the recent keywords lately were crap to me and I wasn't able to create another crossword. Actually I'm thinking of making that crossword special a weekly thing, as making a crossword a day for me would be impossible. Also when I create enough crosswords, I might make a seperate archieve page for them on Freewebs. My writing skills are horrible this late at night, so I'm just going to shut up and post a pretty picture.

Hear ye, Hear ye! Hs'r Bzhskhm. =)

Wow. Did you know that writing such a weird unique blog entry starter as shown above took 5 minutes of my life? The "hear ye" part came to mind because just a few minutes ago, Chase (aka the blog writer on constant unannounced hiatus's :P ) stumbled upon a webpage of some other person's blog and it said up top "Hear ye, hear ye! We have another guest I see!" Or something along those lines...and the rest is up to you to figure out. If you ever played a game that existed years ago called "Word Riot" on Pogo.com you would know how to decode the last two words. (: Enough of this now....even though I think this was so fun to start my entry with I have to move on. =P

As far as the school week went, we had picture day Thursday. I hope my picture came out alright. =P I took my final book test from the three novels I had to read over the summer for Advanced English. I got a 91, with the 11 point curve. I scored a 96 on Animal Farm, and 98 on The Pearl in case you were wondering =) This week in English we also started watching this movie called (I think) "The Crucible" and it's pretty good. I like it anyways, but it seems intense at times. If you were to ask me what it was about, I'd say it's about a bunch of Puritan girls gone hysteric. :P Nah, really it's, I guess, a movie taking place in Salem, Mass. dealing with Puritan times and the witchcraft trials.

I had planned on going to my high school's home Friday night football game, but that never happened. For one, I discovered my friend and I no longer had a ride. Then I was feeling sick with a cold and sore throat most of the week, and decided staying home would be best anyways. Next week is homecoming and I plan on going to that one if all stays swell, and the weather is mild enough :) By the way, I heard my school won with a final score of 14-7!

Today and yesterday it felt a lot warmer outside, and I liked that. It just made me sad because I am going to miss summer more and more now. Winter will be here before I know it. =/ I mean Fall started yesterday. I went shopping yesterday, and then stopped by the library. I ran into my bestt friendd Heather and her mom when I walked into the library. Haha it was so cool, I like flew over to her and said "Oh my gosh like hey what are ya doin' here?!?!" =P I spent as much time at the library as I could. I tell my mom all the time we need to make a day where I can spend my entire day at the library. I need a lot more time to look, read, scan, and search and I love being there, haha yep I'ma true bookworm =P I first looked at the Cd's Heather showed me they had to borrow, and picked out 4 to bring home. They aren't that great, just some pop songs I used to really like more. They don't have the newest CDs of course, nor any bands/people I'd be super interested in borrowing :P Then I went to my favorite Young Adult corner, and picked out two novels. I started reading the first today, called "What's in a name?". Then I moved on to read the teen girl magazine articles that caught my attention (:

Now it's time to guess what, play Runescape! First I'll say that one of my special contributations to this blog will be making a point to weekly mention in my last paragraph what I did in Runescape the night before (since one of the largest topics of this blog seems to be writing about the game Runescape). I seem busy the whole school week and unfortunately only ever find time to post once/twice a week. (I hope this changes though.) I didn't do all that much except find my way from Lumbridge to Southern Falador all by myself without the help of a map! I am improving! Hehe =) I killed a few cows, cut a few trees, and burned a few logs. Not that exciting. xD I also need to remember to tell Chase to write about what he has been doing in Runescape. Apparently he plays often, early in the morning when he knows I am sleeping in. :P

Gah, my entries always end up so long! If I had the time to write everyday maybe they would be shorter...but y'know it's tough. o.O

Daily Blog Specials

I have been in hiding from this blog for a while now, but I'm finally back and blooming with a new radiant shine. It was mostly school keeping me back from posting, and then when I was free of school work, I wanted to get some Runescape playing time into my busy schedule. And now just for a quick Runescape update of my life: I did the Waterfall Quest to range fire giants in the dungeon because meleeing them in the Brimhaven Dungeon hurt too much. I did that for a slayer task. Then I completed a lesser demon slayer task and currently I have to slaughter 110 bloodvelds.

I'm now here to proclaim that a new daily blog special has joined the list with the other two that I already have, and that for everybody who likes web site interaction that you should like this, espically if you play Runescape. Using a crossword making program, EclipseCrossword, I'm able to easily create crosswords and have the program put them into an interactive Java html page. With this, you can actually enjoy yourself interacting with something that I offer on this blog rather than reading and looking at pretty pictures. I just whipped up a fifty word crossword relating to Runescape but anything Runescape that's free-to-play, meaning most of the basic material in the game but yet some tricky questions. Not all of the crosswords will be about Runescape, however, and may cover anything. For example, I might create a crossword that will ask questions about this very blog, causing you to have to journey around the site looking up the answers. Maybe I'll post a link to a certain site and have a crossword concerning the content on that site. It all depends on what mood I'm in, and hopefully you all will enjoy this new blog special.

Runescape Experience of a Lifetime

Another blog today from Caituhlin! Woop ;D Well, after a busy Sunday I need to take a break, listen to music, and writing a blog counts as relaxation in some good way =) Last night I did play Runescape as I mentioned, and I certaintly had a "Runescape Experience of a Lifetime" ! Afterwards I have come to the conclusion that Runescape can be a very calm, simple game where you can work on raising your levels in basic skills such as something like chopping wood logs from a tree or catching fish with a rod to being a dangerous, spooky game the next instant where if you wander into this wilderness you can encounter death head on, chop another real-life character's heads off, and watch them die&fall to their knees in a spooky-looking land of dead tree limbs, graveyards, demons, and bones scattered about. Seriously. =P Now that Runescape game is definately one diverse game!

Yesterday I eagerly logged in, and continued to kill cows. After a bit of that Steve said he might come visit me, so I kept debating what I would do. I like cutting trees when chatting to people because I can leave the screen for a few moments while I type as my character stands and keeps on chopping (plus makes it go faster than sitting and waiting for the tree to be cut all the way down), where if I kill cows I have to be alert and moving and can't really type much without stopping whatever I was doing completely. I cut about two trees, burned those logs, then actually ended up doing math homework until returning to Runescape when Steve was back and ready to visit me while I killed cows again. My strength, defence, and is the other called attack (not sure) levels are all 21 or 22 and my combat level is 27 I think. After a half hour of killing cows, burying their bones, and collecting hides (I have 274 or so of them) Steve asked if I wanted to go for a walk or adventure or something he said concerning me and stopping with killing the cows. I quickly said yes, because I really wanted to explore and do something new since it's still usually very exciting to me. I had no idea what I was truly in for though, haha :P We switched to World 1, and that is the most crowded world I have seen thus far! It makes sense why it would be most crowded too..but I got a bit dizzy when Steve took me through the crowds to have me see all the people at once. Woah. That was really neat though. I think my character even turned really shy around so many strangers :P Poor girl.

After that, I took off all my armor typed-clothes/equipment off and stored it in the bank. It was nice to see my character's cute orange pigtails because I had not seen her head since I started playing. :P Then I followed Buddy Foote. He led me into the wilderness...

Dot dot dot. :P

...

It got scarier as we ventured farther into it. It seemed really desolate, and I did not see any other people for a long time. Steve carried on with showing me different things I had not seen before, like demons and lesser ones are all I remember the name of. x.O The part I liked the least were these red-looking spiders that so came up and attacked me. My 23HP went right to 19 very fast. As time went on, I even realized that each time some foreign creature was close or even hit me I was yelling at the screen "Help me!!" or "Please don't come by my, please just leave me alone okay!?" repeatedly, which was really funny xD Once Steve's friend came online, I guess he explained to him what was going on and where we were at. I then followed Buddy Foote out of the wilderness, and he gave me some armour things and food in the meantime to aid me because we were going to go back into the wilderness after we waited for Steve's friend to come and meet us.

Once his friend got there, he gave me this Amulet Defence green necklace looking item that I put on, and we proceeded to re-entering the wilderness. For some reason there seemed to be a lot more people fighting each other at the entrance of the wilderness than there were before, and I had this instant fear/feeling that when Steve's friend said somebody is going to die, "either us or the other people", I felt like saying "Uhm yep that person who's gonna die is Miss Caydalyn over here!! -waves-" :P

We barely made it far when my computer started lagging because I could barely reply to the messages, and thats always like a foreshadowing of events to come for me in that game xP When we turned this corner or something suddenly this guy came out of nowhere popping up behind my character and attacking it. I tried running ahead but then that seemed pointless and I had no idea which way to run and he just caught up with me and kept on whacking me. I saw my green bar of health turn more and more red and announced "Well I'm a goner. =(" so I logged out after it said "Oh dear. You died.", put my face in my arms and laughed/sighed saying "oh man oh man oh man I knew it" =/

After 2 minutes or so of sitting here reflecting upon what just happened, I logged back in and apologized to Steve and his friend for dying, because I felt bad that I died :P I do feel bad, because I wanted to live and experience more of the land that made my heart beat fast from excitement =P Haha that was weird...but yep that was the end of my Runescape time for the day because it was nearing midnight and I could not keep my eyes open much longer :P It was quite the adventure though, I won't forget it, haha and what is it like the 3rd, 4th, or 5th time I have died already? -shakes head- =P

Wow I never thought I would ever have enough to say about a Runescaping time to make one full long entry about, but I must! Look at this entry, phew. I hope someone finds it interesting (: Take care then <3

No Title

Hi everyone! After a very sad Friday for more than one reason, I am feeling much better 'emotionally' today (: I have not written in quite a while though, sadly, and I apologize but most school nights are busy as it is so I don't have the time to write, but I will try when I can. Yesterday, as Steve already mentioned was sad simply because of hearing the upsetting news of how our vice-principal lost his young son. =( Other than that, my friends and I were simply having a sad day. In fact, when my friend and I were leaving biology last period we were talking about some of our pathetic problems and she said aloud "I think I need a guidance counselor!" and the teacher heard and took us seriously, patted her on the back and smiled as if to say "oh aww it will be okay" =P We laughed hysterically after, but still, things can be tough when you are us =/ I was losing hope that Friday would get any better, but thankfully it did. I went to my friend Heather's house right after school, and sometimes I think all I need is a really good time and talk with my best girl friend to cheer me up =) We went skateboarding in the parking lot near her house, and it was so much fun! At first Heather would just hold my hands and pull me, but y'know what I got the hang of it eventually and just need to do it some more to get more comfortable with such =D I thought it was a lot of fun though! ^^ We went for a walk up the road into this cemetary, which in the back had some very aged gravestones from the 1800's, it was interesting. Later we went up to the barn to feed the horses, Belle and Ginger, when we ran into Heather's young baby cousin Colby and she is so cute. I played peek-a-boo with her xD Once it got pretty dark we ran back up to Heather's room and listened to music. I was playing with Heather's guitar too! Actually it was her brother's guitar but he gave it to her before he moved out. I can't play guitar at all, but I tried. :P I was interested in it a lot because Steve had me listen a dozen times to him playing the beginning of the song "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes which he does really well, so I jumped at the oppoortunity to pluck strings on a guitar for myself. Actually, I kind of just felt "cool" holding it..but y'know it was mucho fun anyways singing along to songs with my best fwend =)

Today I didn't do much worth mentioning, except that I had a daytime encounter with a raccoon in my backyard. I was walking across my driveway when I paused because I saw something out of the corner of my eye, and a raccoon was coming down the tree next to the hammock not all that far from me. The raccoon stopped, and we had a mini-staring contest before he took off into the woods. It was very cute, but could have had rabies and who knows what else. :P I had never seen a live raccoon before, so it was neat.

Now I tend to save my last paragraph for Runescape. I am going to try playing every Saturday night for a bit since I rarely get a chance to any other night. I played last week, and have been refering to that specific playtime as a mini-adventure. ^_^ See, I was all by myself this night. I had not played in over a week or two and forgot most knowledge of my current surroundings. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I realized my skills in fishing and cooking were highest from fly fishing, so I figured I should try to get some of my other skills up to their numbers. I was in Edgeveille, and wanted to test myself to see if I could get myself back to the town where there were cows with a nearby bank. I headed first from Edgeville southwest to Falador but it seemed wrong because Falador has this gate type thing surrounding it, or so it seems, and that felt unfamiliar. I left and headed southeast and ended up in Lumbridge. I knew it was Lumbridge because I think I saw some sign or guard or something that said the name. I had no idea how I walked that far but I did. I went back to Edgeville though and pondered where this place could be at. I tried Varrock next although had a big feeling it really wasn't there. I was walking in circles in that town, and then this person started following me, or I'd like to claim that he was cornering me into 'bad' territory. He kept calling me a 'noob' and saying 'I own you' ..and I didn't reply but kept thinking to myself "okay thats nice buddy now why don'tcha just be on your way now eh?" and was laughing to myself because he was calling meh the noob? :P I had a higher combat level than he did so take that xP Pssshhh :P I ended up in I guess PKer territory (maybe why that person kept saying he could own me in there) because I saw a crowd pit of characters with skeletons above their head and then I got a warning so I turned around from there within a blink of an eye =P Anyways I left, and resorted to asking Steve for help of where those cows were and they were right south of Falador so I have found it now to train on cows, bury bones, cut trees, and make fires but I felt defeated that I could not find it myself. I tried hard though!! :P

Aren't Runescape tales wonderful? I really love sharing them, haha. That is all I have to say..except I do want to end this entry by mentioning a piece of advice that goes something along the lines of (I believe in this too) being patient in life can have great rewards later on. =)

Runescape Community Suggestion Competition

I have stated a while ago in previous posts that I entered the September voting for the Runescape Community suggestion competition that they have every quarter part of the year. I thought that it would be nice to enter the contest after recently redoing my age old "Renting Marketplace Stalls" idea that I wrote back in January of this year. After getting very positive comments in the normal suggestion board about my reconstruction of my suggestion, I thought that it wouldn't do any harm to enter it into the September competition before it was too late to enter. After entering the contest, I would check on the forums everyday to see if the 'judges' picked the top three suggestion to have everybody vote for. And upon checking the forums today, my topic "Renting Marketplace Stalls" was placed neatly in the middle of the other two picked suggestions in the poll. My heart just leapt with joy, and I thought that maybe I'd finally be recongized for something in the Runescape world. Even though I checked the results of the poll so far (getting a null vote because I wouldn't vote for myself) and found out that I'm losing so far with zero votes, I hope that at least people will see the idea in a bigger spotlight and hopefully agree with it.

Here is the link to the topic if you want to read the suggestions and vote for yourself.

Also I find it a great honor to have the 'judges' pick my suggestion out of the large lot that was put in to be sorted out. Thank you. Also I'd like to thank everybody who will vote for me in the competition, and I wish the best to the others who are going against my suggestion. I'm not in this contest to win, but I'm in this contest to spread my idea of a great suggestion that took me hours upon hours to write.

-Now onto a much different subject-

There's many things about my high school that make me mad, but yesterday was a very sad day in the school indeed. During 4th period, the principal's voice came onto the loud speakers announcing that the vice principal's son died that night from leucemia -- his son was four years old. Many of the teachers and other facility members in the school were greatly upset of this fatal turn in the young one's condition, and many of the teachers were drawing some tears and becoming chocked up upon speaking of the incident. We had a moment of silence during the announcement for the vice principal and his family. I feel bad myself about this occurance as Mr. King (our vice principal) is the best high power that we have in this school district, and for something this horrible, cruel, and negative to happen to him is just a sin upon the world. Right after the announcement we were called down to the audotorium for a scheduled assembly where Joe Jackson, a former football player of the Jets and Vikings, was speaking about making the right decesions in your life, and when he was talking about the death of Mr. King's son and how in his years of traveling the country going to different schools to speak that he was never in a situation like this, he was actually crying. It was indeed a sad and depressing day at the Lakeland Jr/Sr High School for all. God bless Mr. King and his family.

Currently I'm sitting around waiting for Corey to pick me up at twelve to take me to Abington Heights for the football game -- the only high school football game in a season that we go to on a Saturday besides a Friday night, unless there was a delay. Why is that? Because even though Abington Heights is a pretty rich school, they don't have any lights at their football stadium. So pretty much Abington Heights is still 'old school'. I can't wait for this game though because it's going to be one of the last good games of the season, until we go to the play-offs. The last very good game was the Lakeland Cheifs vs. the Valley View Cougars -- the first game of the year, that we won in overtime. We're actually expected to lose this game by three points as it stated in the newspaper, so it's going to be a very good and close game, and hopefully we will come out in the end as the winners.

And now for your dose of 'daily blog specials', excluding "Comment That Keyword!"

By the way, last night my father purchased a new computer monitor for the desktop computer. It's an LCD 19'' widescreen and flat, compared to my headache making brick monitor that we previously had. Last night I was fooling around, watching videos, playing games, etc. on it to compare the difference to the old screen. Let me tell you, I never saw Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas so good in my life before until I played it on this LCD screen. It's beautiful.

Have a good one.

Ask Zach

Today I feel like linking to a very, very good blog site where Zach, a fellow blogger, answers any and all questions you throw at him, similar to how I comment on keywords, but he goes to the extreme to answer some questions. I asked him this question (note the typo I made asking the question) and also this question in the past. Challening to see if he does in fact answer every question, I asked him plain and simple, "Who is Buddy Foote?" And to my surprise, his answer. Ask Zach is a very good site and I ask everybody to head on over there. And yes, I am unsure of myself, but my real name is not Buddy Foote. That was the trick question there.

Also since Zach told to Google me if anybody (if anybody at that) were interested in seeing my blog, many keywords I have been receiving lately are 'buddy foote'. And no, I really wasn't asking the question for attention, just to test Zach to see if he answered all questions like I previously said so. And he did mess up, saying that I'm 17 and spelt my hometown of Jermyn, PA wrong (I'm 15 but I'll be 16 on October 27th). But, that's okay. We're all human beings, and we all make mistakes. I just make more mistakes than other human beings, that's all.

Also I'm going to make a guess right now that's directed for Dante, my buddy from Runescape. "Do you Google 'buddy foote' to get to this blog? Because everytime you tell me on Runescape that you're going on the blog to read it, I always see that somebody from google.co.uk searched for 'buddy foote'. Is that you? This has been troubling me for some time now." That is all.

"Comment That Keyword!"

"obby shield picture runescape"

I searched my blog for a good picture of me wielding an obby shield, but the best one I found was this, and it's not really that great. I would go on, grab the shield, put it on and take a picture, but I have two tests to study for therefore I shouldn't even be near this blog or the computer, but I have to be on the computer to read Spark Notes...

Daily Blog Specials

From now on when I don't have a main topic to write about and discuss on this blog, I'll try to just post the daily blog specials that I include in all of my entries. This way they'll be more daily and it'll keep the blog updated and fresh. Just to note, however, that for the "Comment That Keyword!" special, on certain days I may be lacking keywords, thus I'll elimanate that special for the day, only putting in "Picture of the Day". I'm putting this here so I don't have to repeat it everytime, but it's already common knowledge to know. Also these entries will simpy be titled "Daily Blog Specials" and that's it. And now for your daily dose:

"Comment That Keyword!"

"how to guess a runescape bank pin"

I'm going to guess that whoever searched these keywords have hacked an account that has a bank pin, and are really pissed off because they can't break in. Well, screw you. Why the hell would you want to hack an account for pixels? Sure, we, the people who play and enjoy Runescape, work for these pixels, but you guys steal them. That's like stealing a social security number or a real life bank PIN. That's even more true for the people who pay the monthly subscription, thus the hackers almost literally take that money too. Let me just tell you one thing.

You either guess a four digit number from 0000-9999 and try for months to steal some fake money, or you go get a life and maybe try playing the game for yourself and having some fun.

My Runescape Life

Throughout the course of the summer on this blog, I never stopped talking about Runescape. I would be ranting about people calling others noobs, talking about my latest achievements, handing out tips and personel advice, etc. However lately since school began and even a little before it, I never really talked about what has been going on in Runescape in my world. So, here's the latest updates on my Runescape life, brought to you by Buddy Foote:

I have achieved so much yesterday that it's not even funny. I did 4 1/2 quests yesterday, which to me is ground-breaking because I dislike doing quests because I just like to be your average Joe who trains and trains and trains and does nothing else. The quests I did were, in order, Nature Spirit, A Fairy Tale Part I, A Fairy Tale Part II (only up to the step where you're able to have access to the fairy rings), Death Plateau, and Troll Stronghold. After doing all of these quests, I went back to doing construction. I made flatpack curved oak tables from 43 to 50 construction tonight. In my current goal of having all skills level 50 or higher, I'm doing well considering that I only have herblore (level 39) and farming (level 35) to go. I actually have some ranarrs growing in all four herb patches right now, and hopefully they'll be alive when I wake up in the morning. Depending on how long it takes to get 50 farming, I'll just plant herbs before doing homework after school everyday (unless I have a ton of homework, major tests, etc.) and then pick them about 75 minutes later and replant. I only had 26 ranarr seeds to start with from the beginning, so they'll go fast. Then once my farming is 50 or near it, I'll just take the herbs that I grew doing farming and turn them into potions, thus getting herblore up. Plus with the magic speculators (incorrect spelling) that you get from Fairy Tale Part I, you'll yield more crops/herbs when picking crops/herbs. Therefore I'll get some "bonus" farming exp and an extra herb or two to make into a potion for herblore exp.

My second goal in Runescape that I normally switch to and back (a la studying for a quiz while doing this) is to get 76 fishing and 80 cooking. So far I'm 70 fishing and 68 cooking (only a few hundred xp off from 69) so this goal shouldn't take longer than a week of getting some good playing time. I jut want to have the option available to catch and cook (without burning too much) shark whenever I need it, say to do barrows or a hard quest. Plus another open window to make money, but...I have a much better way to make money.

After completing my two goals, I'll be off to earn money, fletching exp, magic exp, woodcutting exp (almost 86 wcing), and crafting exp. In the past I have stated my former plan of buying the yew logs and flax, and then sometimes natures, fletching them into yew longbows and then either selling to other players or alching. Now I'm going to take this all a step farther (and longer) to earn a bigger profit. Besides buying my own yew logs, I'm going to cut them. Why? I'm very eager to get woodcutting to 90 just to say that I have a skill level in the 90's and by cutting the yews, I'll be contributing to that cause. Also I'll be making my own nature runes. I'll tell you this right now -- I love fairy rings. It's so much easier to make natures using the fairy ring system. It's even easier because you can now get pouches from abyssal monsters without being in the wilderness by using the fairy ring coordinates ALR to enter another abyssal realm. I was able to get the small, medium, and large pouches as drops from the abyssal leeches and guardians, thus raising the amount of natures I can craft at once to 43. Also by using CKR as coordinates, you teleport to a fairy ring just northwest of Shilo Village, not too far away from the nature alter. Craig was able to runecraft about 2,000 natures within two or three days using this system. If you don't like the risk of entering the wilderness, use the fairy rings. But back to my money making plan. Being that I'm making my own yews and natures, that saves me about 550 gp a yew long made. However I'll be buying my own pure essence and flax, thus I should only spend 200-230 gp a yew long. This being said, I should make a 50o+ gp profit every yew longbow, which is very good in my case. And with the fact I already have 1k+ natures in my bank from drops and making some, I'll be making a 668 gp profit for every yew long on my first go doing this. In my mind, this is a very good idea. For as soon as I get 80 fletching which is only three levels away, the profit will become even larger, and thus this would be very true at 85 fletching.

And now as I sit on "my" bed in "my" bedroom at my sister and her husband's apartment while their kitten Cuddles is sleeping on the bed near me, I shall present to you the 'daily blog specials'. However this dose will exclude the "Comment That Keyword!" today because the keywords aren't that great lately, thus I won't waste energy commenting on them.

In other news, this blog will be running a small contest that will take place between the two other blog writers Caitlin and Chase. This competition is to see who can come up with their own 'daily blog special(s)' and I shall determine whose will be the best. Prize is pending, however it may be a userbar created by me for the winner. Grading system is too also pending. This contest is being done just to throw some wood on the fire, with the fire being this blog. Deadline for this contest is October 7th. The two cannot tell me any ideas or even what they're doing, and I'll only find out once it's published and available for all to see. I wish the two the best of luck in this contest.

Also, our high school football team, the Lakeland Chiefs, won Friday night, competing with the North Pocono Trojans. Final score: 41-7. So far we're 2-0.

Have a good one.

Drama Drive

Heya :] It's me Caitlin. I was going to write up an entry last night because I was bored &sort of lonely, but I'm glad I waited until today because I have much more to write about anyhow =P First off, real nice week of school. x) Yesterday during my study hall last period, three friends came with me to guidance and the office because I had some questions. My friend Abby and I were thinking of joining the drama club last school year when we helped the current play a few days during our Civics class and that brought back the memories from 6th grade when Abby and I played the 'evil stepsisters' in my class's big on-stage Cinderella play. For my school's fall play, they are putting on 'Flowers for Algernon' which is a book&movie we saw in 8th grade, and I remember liking it. Well, I wasn't interested in trying out for an actual part (Abby wanted too, yet didn't because of her busy schedule) so I wanted to look into being a part of the "stage crew/technical crew/backstage people" because that's what a couple of my good friends helped in, and I would still be apart of the play somehow, haha. My friend Ashley and I wanted to go ask the guidance counselor that since we were interested in joining the drama club, were wondering that if we don't have actual parts in the play but helped backstage/were in stage crew would it still count&go down as an extracurricular activity? He replied saying "Absolutely because you are still participating!" That was the answer I was hoping for because one of the main reasons I was looking to join was because I've known since 6th grade I needed to join something else (I played softball in 6th grade but now am no longer interested in sports) to have some sort of extracurricular activity, especially to aid me in going to college. Afterwards we went to the office and wrote the drama club director a note leaving our (Abby&I) names and email addresses, gave that to the secretary, and she put it in her mailbox. So...we'll see what happens. (: I hope it's a good idea, plus sounds fun. I heard a lot of people are doing it though which means the fall play might have enough help already but the spring musicial needs it, which I'll do if I can't this time around.

I got a real good night's sleep last night, and woke up at 11 this morning -meep- After "brunch" my mom asked if I wanted to go for a walk down the road and that I could take my bike. I was excited, so hurriedly got my bike out. I live on a really long dirt road that has two parts to it, and in the spring this year we walked it a few times, but this morning was so beautiful and stuff we went again. I had the most aerobic bike ride ever! x) The way down it was well, obviously downhill which was an experience. I never ever thought I'd go as fast I flew down the hills on the road. Oh my gosh I felt like I was on a rollercoaster :P I loved the thrill of it though. At the end where we turned around I saw the old man I saw last time outside of his house and he came over and started talking to us. I learned his name, age is 84 years old, used to have a 50lb bike when he was young, and was fascinated by the different speeds on my little mountain bike xD Nice man though. Then I had to ride all the way back, which was mainly uphill. It was tough going but I made it home and my leg muscles felt so tight I felt good about so much exercise. It was fun! I just hope my legs won't be too sore tomorrow xP

As soon as I sped up my driveway and put my bike away, I ate a popsicle (dont'cha love such little details?), and my father asked if I wanted to go driving today like I agreed to. I went once before if anyone recalls I wrote an entry about it, and had many chances to go again but kept saying no because it made me too nervous to think about for reasons I don't quite understand =P Last week I agreed to go today though. I figured it's a great opportunity to gain some much needed experience with a vehicle, and I am one lucky child to have a parent willing to teach me basics while letting me sit/be in control in the driver's seat of THEIR $42,000 vehicle! ^.^ I was taken to an empty, desolate parking lot different from last time, and reviewed the basics. I get so nervous&scared right before my turn to sit at the wheel though, but I try my serious best. Serious best meaning I also take the whole lessons pretty seriously =) I did some of the following basic skills: putting the car from parked to drive, or to reverse; getting better at switching feet without looking from the brake to gas &vice versa; never forgetting to turn the blinker on; parking inbetween the lines; turning sharp and turning at all; adjusting the rearview mirrors; and swirving in an 's' like shape to pretend I was maneuvering around orange cones. Today I had to gently hit the gas pedal so I was moving at a nice speed of 20mph! Which is a record speed thus far for myself :] I like trying to park in the lines best, it seems fun for some reason, and I even went into reverse for the first time, and I couldn't park in the lines that time but it was neat nonetheles. Afterwards I felt accomplished, calm &content with a big smile on my face because it was fun to practice ;D

Now I might play Runescape because I haven't played or went anywhere 'really fun' online since the summer, honestly! After school I have been going outside, homeworking, studying, or chatting online, nothing more nothing less. :P I hope to play again real soon. I miss it a lot. That's all I can write now. Fings are a-hurtin' meh. Kkkk. Have an uberly terrific night/day <3

Animal Farm

Three required summer reading books read (they have been read since the beginning of August) and I must conclude that the best book out of all three is indeed Animal Farm. Before I started studying Animal Farm for the test I have in Advanced English tomorrow, I marked my favorite book out of the three to be Fahrenheit 451. However once I looked over the SparkNotes over the holiday weekend and started to recall more in-depth details of the book, I took the title of "Best Book of the Summer" away from 451 and placed the medal neatly on Animal Farm. Why do I love Animal Farm so much? Without a doubt it's one of the best and most interesting works I have read that holds a very horrible-to-think-about truth about society today and how many corrupt governments in this world run, based on different classes and how one class overrules the other. Also it's just horrible to see how the animals are treated before and after their Revolution, which if you never picked up the book or read it online, you won't have a clue what I'm talking about, but I'll keep on talking anyway. Warning: may contain spoilers. The common class animals, which is symbolic to the working class and laboring of humans, are treated poorly before and after the Revolution, when they overthrew the owner of Manor Farm, Mr. Jones, and his workers out, and I found this quite touching and sad because after the revolution, all the animals thought life was now going to be great, working at their own set pace, producing things that were sold on the market for themselves and their own welfare, and not being held as slaves under the ownership of humans, but they were all wrong. I won't spoil anything from that point on, but maybe you'll want to pick up a copy of this very good novel now. This whole book is supposed to be very parallel to the Russian Revolution that took place in the early twentith century, and can also be traced to many other revolutions in history, such as the American or French ones.

With the Animal Farm test being the first test of the 2006-2007 school year, I hope to God that I do a good job on it. I looked over every section of the SparkNotes online that I could, however looking at different sections spanning over several days over the holiday weekend. I think I have enough knowledge of the book in my brain to apply it on tomorrow's test, or at least I hope. I was looking at the message board on SparkNotes about Animal Farm and was reading all the help threads for people asking questions about writing assignments, essays, and the whatnot concerning different aspects of the book. I am shocked at some of the hard assignments people have received. I'm thankful for just taking a nice, easy two-page test, matching, true-or-false, and multiple choice. This one 9th grader (I'm in 10th grade) received some question that I couldn't even think of where to start answering -- it was just that difficult. I do believe that our school does baby us sometimes and as some of my teachers this year such as my Spanish teacher mentioned, it is a sin that our school and many other schools in America are not preparing us for the real world and most importantly college. Currently I'm actually grateful for that, but when I'm sitting in a college dorm having a nervous breakdown because the material I'm getting that I need to know by tomorrow is bigger than the Empire State Building and the width of the state of Texas combined together, I'll come to realize that high school was too easy, and that my future life is going to be difficult.

I have to go review the characters for Animal Farm again, so without a doubt, let's do the 'daily blog specials' first.

"what drops obby shield and dragon meds"

This is actually pretty sad but I can't answer this question in too much detail, because I don't really know all of the monsters that drop these items. For the obby shields, I believe some of the higher level citizens of The ThZaar drop these, but they won't be an easy match if you're a combat level of 80 or below, so bring food and have run on if you wish to fight these guys. I remember when I was fighting one once after I bought either my first or second whip... I think the first one... and I was actually afraid that I was going to die as the lobsters weren't healing as fast as the bastards were doing damage to me. Those are, however, the only monsters who may drop the shield. As for the dragon meds, you have many monsters who drop these. I'll just name five: King Black Dragon, the Kalphite Queen, otherwordly beings, fire giants, and abyssal demons.

New Kitten

Due to the fact that I'm going to the GDS Fair tomorrow for most of the day and taking Corey with me (taking him is my thanks for him being my free season pass to the high school football season) I figured I might as well type up a small blog entry now at midnight. I just got off of walking around Runescape on f2p worlds chopping oak trees in Draynor Village for construction (I traded 180 tuna there for 200 oak logs) and figured I had nothing better to do than type something up. Plus before I go to the fair tomorrow, I have to scan over the Spark Notes online for Animal Farm. I read up on them a bit yesterday while at my sister's, but I haven't finished up the in-depth chapter reviews.

Anyhow, right after I posted my last blog entry, my sister called my mother up asking me if I wanted to come down. Actually I was in the middle of typing up that entry and told my mother, "Maybe in an hour or so." Well, my sister and brother-in-law came up anyway and told me that they had something that they wanted me to see. I went downstairs into the kitchen and there was a small, grey and extremely cute kitten sitting in a cardboard box on the kitchen table. My brother-in-law was working at the local flea market in the old Sugarman's building when he saw some woman with a box of kittens giving them out for free. He reserved the one that they have now and later when he came back after working the day, he picked up the kitten and went home, getting the kitten as a small gift for my sister. But geez, this kitten was the damn little cutest thing I ever laid eyes on. Thankfully my sister let me stay for the night at her house to play with the cat. I did take some pictures on my camera, but they aren't uploaded onto the computer yet. Expect to see a picture of the kitten in a future 'Picture of the Day'.

My sister's other cat, a male that goes by the name of Buster, wasn't too fond of this small kitten, and kept on swatting at it. Now Buster is a demon. If you ever asked me if I knew of a cat possesed by the devil, I would say yes and point you toward that cat. Buster wasn't too mean to the kitten though, and the little kitten swatted right back at him. By the way, the kitten's a female that goes by the name of Cuddles. Back to Buster -- this cat will not let me even pet him. Buster will bite me vicously and claw at me, hissing at me sometimes even. Yet the cat will play with me, chasing me around, but in the end always hurting me. If I puck Buster up, he'll attack my face. Buster was mad at my sister and brother-in-law for bringing a new addition to the family home and even growled and fought them, which is pretty rare unless Buster is really pissed off.

Last year in English we had to write our own original poem, so I ended up writing a poem about Buster. I'm going to share this poem here now, but please do not steal it. There is copyright on the following document.

"A Weekend Home"
By Buddy Foote

"Now I must proclaim to thee an excerpt of three cherished loved ones
Living quarters declared an utmost dwelling of close sibling and spouse
A vast white wrinkled walled poisonous perfumed chamber
Bountiful with warning signs: Beware of pouncing black beast"

"An unseen business looms downstairs serving delights to others
Muffled screams of orders linger upward with sweet scented aromas
An intense deafening clash of pizza pans falling heard through rusted vents
Piercing pandemonium below like a battlefield awakens sleeping black beast"

"Circular ebony rubber squeals outdoors coming rapidly from a turn
Ceremonious cathedral bells ding and dong throughout the endless valley
Pedestrians pace briskly below to their targeted destinations
A raining moonless winter evening provides raven shadows for black beast"

"Hissing whispers fill thy eardrums, echoing through the rayless night
A ragged ink-like tail sprouts upward from behind hiding habitat
Hushed n' still apartment hosts the rhythmical beats of two hearts
The cold-hearted pulse of noble animal possessed by demons, the black beast"

"Teal eyes like sea of algae gallop into view at supreme speeds
Biting viciously into human flesh, scratching wounds sixty feet deep
Catnip hovering ten stories overhead, black beast bounces for bait
A typical weekend stay at home of sister, her husband, and deadly black beast "

I slept on the floor at my sister's in my sleeping bag (that I left up there by the way) and awoke to Cuddles clawing at my face. Being that Cuddles is a small kitten, she still has her front claws. Therefore, there was indeed small scratch marks all over my face. That kitten is so tiny though that it can fit in the palm of my hand. My sister told me that Cuddles was sleeping by my head on the pillow in the morning when she got up. That freaks me out for one reason. Now what could that be, it's a tiny innocent kitten? Well, later on after I already went home, my brother-in-law was washing Cuddles up and found three fleas on her, and killed them using lemon juices. With that in mind, I'm washing my hair throughly tomorrow morning when I'm getting ready for the fair.

Just for the note, the traffic to this page is starting to look good again, going from 16 unique visitors a day to around 27. Hopefully we'll be seeing the usual 30-50 before my birthday on October 27th.

And now for your dose of 'daily blog specials'.

"selling rune t skirt somebody buy it please"

This keyword made me laugh when I first saw it. Why? This guy is asking a search engine to buy his/her trimmed rune skirt. No, no. It's not that. It's just the fact that you don't go on search engines to buy and sell your goods on Runescape. Go on Runescape Community, the offical Runescape forums, SwiftIRC, anywhere, but not a search engine dammit. And if you're asking me personally if I want that skirt, then I'll reply simply...

"Maybe..."

First Game/Sleepover

Hola :] It's Caitlin, and I just realized I have not stated it was I in a couple of my previous entries. I guess that's alright though. Yes, I knew all along it has the name of the person who posted an entry written underneath the new blog entry, but I figured to lessen confusion I'd say it was me first because who reads the very bottom first off anyways? :P The second day of school was not half as good as the first for me personally. For one, I was tired. I was also worried about how in the world I will manage with having to carry large, heavy books. The largest textbooks I have had thus far, and have even ever laid eyes on. I try to go to my locker any chance I get, but I have to rush and that worries me, too. It might be a challenge somedays, so it's not exactly fun xP I am so happy to have this long Labor Day weekend now so I can try catching up on sleep and 'reorganizing' my stuff from an 'unorganized' first school week.

Friday night was the school's first football game (which was all covered in Steve's entry before this one), and I looked forward to going with my friends. I had a lot of fun, but it was a bit chillier than I hoped for, sadly. (I miss the heatwave now :[ ) My friend Heather came home after school with me Friday until it was time to leave for the game. We went for a walk around my yard, and I showed her my pond &stuff that she had not seen in over a year :P I think she only really loved the new hammock&swing because she wanted to lie there the whole time xD After dinner, we all went outside and played softball for a little bit before my dad dropped Heather and I off at the school field. I had never seen so many cars parked at our school before! It was pretty neat. I made it to one game last season, and there wasn't half this many cars (shows what a big game this must have been), and I think having dozens of people anywhere makes going places 10x more exciting. I spent most of the time chasing my friends around, and/or looking for certain people at the same time. I wanted to watch the football game at times because I understand the game and always liked it since it surrounds me, but since I didn't start watching it from the first quarter, and we have a broken scoreboard on top of that, it makes it real difficult to know what is going on later in like the 4th quarter :P Once the game entered overtime I was really cold, like literally shaking so I ran around saying my goodbyes and then was about to call home to be picked up when suddenly I see my dad drive right on up at the exact moment so yay was that good timing or what? xD I wanted to stay up late once I got home, since I am used to doing that. Instead Heather, Chase, and I watched this show on MTV called 'Next!' where there are 5 people and 1 person gets to date them all for as long as they want to see if they like that person enough to ask for a second date, but at any moment they decide they dislike the person they just say "next!' and the next girl/guy comes out. Oh, and there is a money prize involved in there somewhere too. The reason we were watching it was because they did something very different this time. I saw this show maybe once or twice before (Heather and Chase never did) and believe me, my brother would never be caught dead watching MTV. Hahaha so you see on this particular episode they had 5 guys waiting and the 1 other person who they wanted to date also was a guy. Do I need to explain any furthur? I hope not... :P Anyways, it was funny, and very very different to actually watch. x.O Haha moving on now.. I fell asleep close to midnight and woke up around 8:30, so again I didn't get enough sleep. It was very rainy&windy all day Saturday because of this tropical storm/depression, so I couldn't take Heather outside again and I didn't want her to go home yet either :P We ended up going to Target for a little bit and then I dropped her off. We had a fun time (:

I spent the rest of Saturday very tired and cold. I really hope I am not getting sick. I went to bed early Saturday night at a record 8:00 and did not awake until 11:30 this morning. That is a lot of sleep, but it felt so good and I was so warm under so many blankets I never wanted to get up&move again :P Now I am hungry, and a bit bored because it turned out my mom found something else to do other than go out shopping (I was going to go with her)..so I might try to start studying for my first book test on Animal Farm or something which is Wednesday. Adios!

High School Football

Last night was the date of the first high school football games in the area, a day that many members of a school district loyal to their team live to see. Yesterday our school, the Lakeland Chiefs, went up aganist our biggest rival around that we didn't play in the last two football seasons, the Valley View Cougars. Like the last football season and half of the one before that, Corey took Kyle and I to almost every game. At most high school football games, the kids of the school rarely watch the game and may glance over at what's going on every once in a while as they walk around and talk with their friends or play football in the back behind the bleachers. Years ago I used to be the same, but hardly caring about the game because I never understood how football was played. Actually not until I wanted to become interested and ask my father questions and play football video games did I learn the basics of my now favorite sport. And since that time, Corey, Kyle, and I grab a seat in the bleachers and watch the game closely like the parents of the other kids in our school do sitting around us. Kyle was always into football though as he's a huge Penn State fan and went to their games since he was about six years old. For example, he's going to be at their game today, even though a dying tropical storm end is blowing through our area. I can't wait to watch this Penn State game on TV though because Joe Tuzze, a former star player on the Lakeland football team, is going to be in the college school competing with Penn State. I think Tuzze is a fullback and there's only two fullbacks on the team so he'll probably be in the game.

But back to the football game last night. Being how cheap our school is, Lakeland's scoreboard (the game was home for us) wasn't working properly, and there was no visable clock and score. So it was hard to determine when quarters were over, because when this intense game heated up, you wanted to know what time it was until the end of the quarter. Honestly, this game was probably the best game I ever watched in person. Until this game was played, the best game I ever watched was the first game of last year when we played West Scranton at Scranton. At the game, we went into triple overtime, were on the edge of our seats, and played a good game, but we lost. Even though we lost, I marked that as the best game I ever saw. But after yesterday, that game was the second best. Last night's game aganist Valley View was the best, no doubt about it.

Because of the non-working scoreboard and how much I did get distracted from the game talking to Gorman and fooling around a bit, the details I'm about to say are going to be very vague. All I can really say is that in the first half we scored and got the extra point, and in the second half Valley View scored and got the extra point, tying up the game. The game then went into overtime and we used the system that they have in college -- starting at the 15 yard line and having one chance to get the ball into the inzone, or kicking a field goal. This was the part of the game that got really intense. Lakeland won the coin toss and chose to have Valley View receive the ball. Well, they got the ball and with their speedy running back who, throughout the course of the game, kept on tripping on everybody, including his own team and ours, ran down to the inzone getting the touchdown. But then an amazing play was made by Lakeland. Valley View attempted to go for the extra point, kicked the ball, but Lakeland blocked the kick, an amazing play. Then it was our turn to get a touchdown and then if we got that, an extra point for the win. Lakeland's running back ran the ball into the zone for the touchdown, and then we kicked the ball through the goalposts for the extra point for the victory. Game score; Lakeland - 14, Valley View - 13.

Just to make a point, this game was televised today on TV on the cable channel where advertisements and the whatnot are put on in what appears to be some sort of Powerpoint. I turned it on right before overtime. I was lucky to because I actually missed the extra point block by Lakeland during the game because I was too distracted fooling around, so it was great to actually see the play after hearing about it.

Now to go away from discussing football, I need to ask everybody who may read this blog a favor. Yes, the founder and one of the writers of this blog is asking any loyal readers of mine a big favor. You may of heard of userbars before. Well, I have created a userbar for all readers of BFBv.2 out there. Put in mind that this is the first thing I ever created in Photoshop and I'm no artist, so it's not the best thing out there. What I ask of you readers to please put the following userbar in your signatures on forums or anywhere else that you want to and maybe have the userbar as a link to this very blog. I ask you this because the traffic to this blog is still lower than normal as too is the number of readers since our little layout incident. And here is the userbar:

And now for my 'daily blog specials'.

"how to get addy h1 shields in runescape"

I'm going to answer this keyword very simply. You either buy the shield from another player for a select amount of cash, or you can get the item randomly and with luck from a clue scroll. If you're f2p, you have to buy it if you want it. For prices, check out Zybez.
