Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom

Yesterday on my post concerning this blog's birthday, I mentioned that I went to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom near Allentown, PA with Craig and his family on Sunday, staying over his house Saturday night into Sunday and Sunday night into Monday. So I'm going to tell you a couple of stories from the park that day and some of the experiences that I had there. So without anymore interuptions from the underpants-stealing gnome that lives in my middle drawyer in my dresser, I shall begin telling you of these adventures.

I was playing Runescape Saturday morning when Craig sent a message to me asking if I was busy at all on Sunday. I was like, "I think my father might have something planned." Then Craig responded with, "Oh, because I wanted to know if you wanted to go to Dorney Park with me tomorrow." I quickly responded, "Screw any plans! Heck yes I'll go!" After talking some more, Craig told me that I'd stay over his house that night because it would be convient being how early in the morning we were going to go, and then stay over the next night because of how late we'd be getting back. I kept on telling Craig that I wasn't going to go on any extreme rides or rollercoasters, but in the end that all changed.

That night at his house we stayed up pretty late because it was hard to fall asleep for some odd reason. We just talked a bit in whispers so we didn't disturb everybody else sleeping while watching Adult Swim on TV and some Nick at Night. We went to bed around three and woke up four hours later at seven to get ready to leave at eight. We wanted to get at the park as soon as it opened at ten to get a good parking spot and go on some of the water rides before the lines got too long. We were going to the Wildwater Kingdom first, then to the other side of the park later after lunch. On the way down we watched Little Nicky, which is one of those great movies that you can watch over and over again. The van we went down in had a DVD player built into the roof of the van, so that's how we watched the DVD.

The parking space was already pretty packed when we got there and the park was only opened for ten minutes when we arrived. We parked the van between two cars in which the owners of them were from out of the state (I think New York state), were friends, and were both Spanish-speaking Mexicans with large familes. They must've been pissed or something that we parked between them, even though the parking lot guys told us to park there, because later on while we were eating lunch they kept on making weird noises at us and yelled some stuff at us in Spanish everytime they walked inbetween their car and ours. When we came back to the van for lunch, they had folding chairs right at the back of our van like it was no problem. And when we left the park there was a mess everywhere where they were parked, and a slice of a watermelon was underneath the front wheel of our van.

Never being at Dorney Park before, but only seeing a small sight of a rollercoaster once while driving down an interstate highway to an outdoors store (I don't know the spelling but the name of the store is pronounced as ka-bell-la's), the sights of the park were amazing and beautiful all at the same time. Upon entering the park, the only way to get into Wildwater Kingdom was to go below a large steel rollercoaster called the Talon, which is the longest and tallest inverted coaster in the Northeast. I was in awe at the ride being that I never saw a steel rollercoaster that large up close before. Actually before going to Dorney, the only steel coaster I ever saw in person was the Whirlwind at Knobels, which I have heard is no longer there.

At Wildwater Kingdom, we rented a large locker to put our stuff in, such as our shirts, and went off to the water slides and other rides. Water slides are great - both one that use tubes and one where you lay on your back and cross your arms over your chest. I went on these rides multiple times with Craig and his family. We didn't go to any wave pools while we were there but just the basic rides. The one ride that we all enjoyed was the Whitewater River, as you can ride on it many times without having to get off. The ride is practically like a river somewhat where you ride around in a big circle on tubes while you go underneath waterfalls, mushrooms that rain down water on you, and other small falls of water run off into this ride. Another thing that stands out is something called the Lily Pads. What you have to do is hold onto a plastic "rope" (a suspended cable) as you try to balance on these huge "lily pads" that stay in place in the water, and try to cross to the other side, but if you fail you'll still be satisifed falling into the blue, refreshing pool. Around six in the afternoon, Craig's parents let Craig and I wonder off by ourselves back over to the Wildwater Kingdom because it was quite hot out and we wanted to get wet. We went on a second ride similar to the Whitewater River but it was a different one, and the enterance to it was on the other side of the exit, right? Well, we left our shirts and shoes at the enterance of this ride and when we got off and wanted to just wade over to the enterance to get our stuff, we were yelled at to go around and get them, a five minute walk! Plus we could only stay by ourselves until seven thirty at it was only ten minutes away, so we ran, fast. By the time we got back to meet up with Craig's parents, our feet were sore from running and we had some cramps. Craig and I cursed at that woman who told us to go around for the rest of the day because besides a five minute walk we could've just waded down to our stuff within thirty seconds or less and been on our way.

After lunch, we went into the other side of the park from Wildwater Kingdom, Dorney Park. One of the first intense rides that I went on was the Wild Mouse. An excellent ride indeed. I liked the sharp turns at the top and then the hills and climbs that made it feel like a rollercoaster. Then we went to my next intense ride that I said that I'd never go on, a rollercoaster, called the Hydra. Stolen from Dorney's offical site, here is a description of the ride: "HYDRA The Revenge is the first and only floorless roller coaster in Pennsylvania with a unique twist that flips riders upside-down as the train exits the station, then sends riders soaring through the sky along more than a half-mile of coiling steel track." Was I afraid? Yes. Did I live? Yes. Did I like it? I loved it. The Hydra turned out to be my favorite rollercoaster out of the other ones I went on -- these being the Talon and the Laser, and I even went on it twice. Another time was after we ate supper at the Game Day Grille around night. Then after going to the Hydra and running to the bathroom due to bladder problems, I ate some good ol' Dip n Dots ice cream -- the ice cream of the future.

Craig's brother and father went on the Steel Force, which I was terrified to go on, even after going on the Hydra. Craig wanted to go on it but we ended up not doing so. He became afraid after a train got stuck at the beginning of the 200 feet plus climb. Even after that incident happened, Craig's brother and father still went on the ride. They were lucky, however, because the rollercoaster car after theirs broke down again.

There are many other stories to tell of the park, but due to my horrible memory, I'll need to discuss politics with Craig about what else happened and maybe come back here and tell some more stories. For example, at night right before we were going to go home, Craig's brother, Jimmy, ran around to different locations getting pennies pressed into pictures of some of the different Peanuts characters, from Charlie Brown. The Peanuts characters are the mascots of the park. I was dissapointed that there was no giant Snoopy wandering around. I needed to hug him.

Just a quick news flash in Runescape News: I got a crystal key. During a slayer task once killing desert lizards, I got the teeth key half from them and then yesterday I got the loop key half killing ice giants. Currently I'm at the baby blue dragons getting my prayer level up one or two, but after that I'm going on a new Runescape plan to prepare myself for doing tons and tons of quests.

Make sure you have a good one.

What's Today Again?

I don't know why I'm even posting right now. My eyelids are almost completely closed because I'm tired from my long day yesterday at Dorney Park near Allentown, PA with Craig and his family, I'm pretty hungry yet there's nothing to eat, and this sunburn on my nexk, back, and shoulders is giving me a headache. Yet there is some unknown force that draws me into posting today and I just don't know what it is. Is it because I didn't post in a couple of days? Neh, I get my lazy strokes sometimes where the lazy meter in my body shoots to a high extreme and I'm required to go into lockdown mode and hiberate in front of the computer for a couple of days playing Runescape or chatting with strangers and/or friends. Is it because Dr. Phil told me to post to vent my frustration at the world? No, but y'know, I was thinking the other day and I realized how fortunte the states in the Northeast are in the USA. Why? They don't have California mudslides or earthquakes, no major F5 regular tordnaoes that we see in the Great Plains and the infamous Tornado Valley, no hurricanes that sweap your house away and flood your backyard and patio, no sandstorms or dust storms that you may see in the hot 105 degrees or above desert, and there's no avalanches because there's really no mountains in the Northeast. So why am I complaining about the Northeast? I'm not, I'm just happy I live there. Sure we get a flood every year but doesn't everybody -- besides that desert? Anyway, back on track. So why am I posting...? Is it because I'm sick of Runescape? Forget about it, not going to happen. Espically when my combat level went up three levels within a few days and thanks to combat level 97 Dante (a loyal reader to this blog and my good friend on Runescape) who told me of a great training spot at the Ice Warriors/Ice Giants in the dungeon south of Port Sarim and southeast of Rimmington, I'm not going to quit anytime soon. Plus I have a new method of training. Train attack and defence with my whip and strength with my dragon longsword. It seems to be going very, very well. Plus I bank my stuff and grab my swordfish at the bank at the Void Knight Outpost which isn't too far away and sometimes even go into Pest Control, joining the IRC chat #pc-hq to find out the current world. Anyway, I seem to have gone way off the track again and crashed the train into a pile of crab meat and eggrolls. So why am I posting!?

Well, it's my blog's birthday.

A year ago this day, July 24th, I joined Blogger and started this new blog, Buddy Foote's Blog v.2. Many people out there may wonder (but a whole year later and I was never asked) what is up with the version two portion of the name of this blog. Well, I had an earlier blog that I only kept up for about five months or less or more back when I was in 8th grade and around 14-years old. During that time I was spammed quite a bit in the comment section and the shoutbox and I was even hacked once by a friend, who put a very dirty picture on the site which was pretty close to being gay porn. Currently my old blog is hacked again so I advise you to not read it -- the hacker edited the text so that it says some total downright bullshit. But that was way after I had this newer blog set up and settled in. And what can I say about this blog? I love it, that's what. Over this past year about 210+ blog entries were posted, about 8,000+ visitors had come onto the site, and two other blog posters had joined the BFBv.2 bandwagon, Caitlin and Chase -- Caitlin started posting in May 2006 when I asked her to because of a short term writer's block that I had and then Chase came just about a week ago in July, 2005. Sorry, the bandwagon is closed to anybody else who may want to write here, as for the next six months. Caitlin pointed out earlier today in her blog post introducing the birthday of the blog and the new layout (which suits the atmosphere of this blog great and makes it look very, very good and attractive to anybody who stumbles in) when she said that in my first blog post (which is actually the second including the test post that I never got rid of and never will) that I had some goals for this new blog, which one, that she pointed out, included to not write as much as I used to. I think I actually write more than I used to because my old blog had a bigger font size thus making the entries seem bigger, but in reality they weren't. This post itself has a lot in it and I'm not even at the second half of what I want to say. But, I need to settle some goals that this blog will go through in the next year that I want to happen. Here is the list, as follows:
  • Purchase a .com domain.
  • Get rid of my lazy meter.
  • Post a picture of my Runescape stats on October 27th, my birthday.
  • Get those pictures that I promised two months ago uploaded.
  • Get my driving permit and a job. Wait, that's the goals of my personal life...
  • Grow an afro.
As you can see, these goals will be very hard and challenging to see through, but hopefully they will see the light of day. Espically those damn pictures. My God, I never let something go undone that long before. I break my promises way too much.

But oh! We have forgotten to sing to BFBv.2 a happy birthday! "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to Buddy Foote's Blog version two! Happy birthday to you!"

See, that whole song had end rhyme. I'm just that good.

Second part of this already long blog post: Dorney Park. The reason I asked Caitlin to go ahead and give the post introducing the blog's birthday and new layout was because I went to Dorney Park yesterday with Craig, sleeping over his house for two nights, thus not being able to be on a computer at the brick of midnight posting the new layout and screaming, "Happy birthday!" Instead I just told Craig last night at twelve as we were watching Aqua Teen, Hunger Force, "Hey, today is my blog's birthday." He responded, "Very nice." The end. Anyway about the park. I'm just going to provide a list of the rides I went on and how many times I went on them. My lazy meter is growing and I have to go to the bathroom. I thought I would share that with you. These rides are not listed in any order, but the water rides will go first because we went to the Wildwater Kingdom first thing in the morning. The "x number" just shows how many times I went on the ride.
  • Aquablast x1
  • Cascade x1
  • Lightning Falls x1
  • Lily Pads x a lot
  • Patriot's Plunge x3
  • Riptide Run x1
  • Runaway River x1
  • Torpedo Tubes x2
  • Wildwater Rapids x3
  • Wildwater River x a lot
  • Hydra x2
  • Laser x1
  • Talon x1
  • Scrambler x1
  • Tilt-A-Whril x1
  • Wild Mouse x1
Well, I shall leave you at that. I might speak in more detail of the park some other time but I'm just not in the mood today. But yet again, happy birthday to BFBv.2 and thank you Caitlin for making the new great layout that we shall see for another year to come.

Blog's 1st Birthday

Well, what more can be said other than that today officially marks one full year since Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 began with it's first entry, posted by the one and only Buddy Foote. Happy Birthday to this good ol' blog! =) I, Caitlin, now have the great priviledge of posting the 'Birthday Blog Entry' for you all to read. Shall we start with a trip down memory lane, eh?

I have been a regular reader at this blog since day one. I even go as far back as to have been a reader (although not as loyal) to the first Buddy Foote's Blog. I took some time today to go back and re-read the first entry posted on Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 on July 24th, 2005 (one year ago
today, as I said). It was interesting to look at. Buddy Foote noted a few things in there and plans he had noted for this blog's future. Some do's and don'ts I guess you could call them. I thought it was really funny, for example, he had written this: "Also my new posts on my blog will never be long, and hardly as long as this one." Apparently, that was not entirely true because one year later there have been a number of long posts here much longer than that one, but I think that's one of the many things that makes his blog so wonderful and unique. If he had kept to that, and wrote many short, entries, I think they would have been boring without any detail or much effort whatsoever. The many long entries that can be found here are what I think makes the blog, well, the blog! It's very nice to come along and read. To find, look at, or read the very first blog entry yourself, you can find it by clicking here!

Later on I read and scanned around a bit more. The second post was about Buddy Foote's early Runescape levels. I thought it was so cool because most of them were close to my current levels as a new Runescape player today, and nowadays reading his Runescape entries (which are found aplenty throughout the blog), he is one of those top notch member players with high level stats carrying a spiffy whip =) So that was pretty neat, and made me think how much stuff can change over a year in everything, even something as simple as a blog. I think even Buddy Foote himself changed [; I am sure you noticed by now yet another thing that changed over this year. A brand new layout made specially for this blog! So long premade, hello original! I am really happy it is now up, and hope you all like it! It was made by myself and Buddy Foote. =) It gives the blog a whole new twist I think. I think it's nice how the new layout puts the side stuff for example on the left side rather than the right, and the banner up top looks really cool rather than the previous grey text. I took two screenshots below, one of the old layout (left) and one of the new (right) to compare them.

As I said, I have pretty much always been a regular reader here. As the blog progressed over this year, I grew more and more loyal to it. Once 2006 rolled around I was checking the blog for new entries up to three times a day! I really looked forward to simply reading whatever Buddy
Foote had to say. I really like this blog, much more than I thought I ever would back when it began a year ago. Honestly, just taking the time to think about things as a whole, would I have ever imagined to be writing here today? Most likely not even a minor thought in my mind. It's really nice though, and I do enjoy writing here. =) Plus now I am not even the only one, my brother Chase has joined us as well. A year ago, I just never could imagine Buddy Foote would want anyone else writing and leaving their footprints on his own personal blog, so maybe that's why it feels extra special in that extra special kinda way ;-)

I am looking forward to see what is to come next with this blog. It's nice to see something was not given up on for one whole year. Good Job Buddy Foote! I know and hope this blog will only grow and became more popular as time goes on!

Rambling

Hello.. long time no write. =3 It's Caitlin.. in case you forgot I have the wonderful priviledge to write here since it's been soo long! xD Anyways, my excuse is I had nothing to write about. Now that may seem dull, but it's the truth. I hope that changes real soon though! I don't have much to say now even, but missed writing a whole lot. I predict this could be an entry full of rambling. First, I will welcome the newest person who also is lucky and recieved the wonderful priviledge of writing here. -pokes her brother Chase- (:

It has been very hot the past couple days. A heatwave just about. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go swimming but I am alright with that since I started to get things out I want to pack for when I go on vacation to the beach in exactly 20 days =) I am getting very excited. I can't wait till once we arrive, and I step out of the car and stretch after that 5 hour ride, and I smell this very strong salty sea water smell that makes my heart flutter. I think the ocean is beautiful, and ahh I can't wait to go in it and be knocked over, sideways, &upside-down, by the foamy waves riding my boogie board and diving through the waves fast before they turn over. I can't wait to stare in awe at all the pretty condos, hotels, and attractions, ride the bus, smell the seafood from a billion restaurants, go on long morning walks on the beach, and walk the boardwalk late into the night and see all the lights, rides, games, and arcades all the while dressed up in cute summer outfits. Maybe you can tell by reading such, I have been there before, and yes I have many times growing up, but it's been two years since, making me twice as excited. =) I am hoping we are lucky with gorgeous, warm, clear weather for the week. (: I also plan on bringing along a small journal pad, and taking the time each day to write a small paragraph down (if I can make it small..sometimes I have a habit of writing too much -meep-) about the day, what I did, saw, or anything interesting about the trip. That way when I return, I could type up my paragraphs into a nifty entry about my vacation. =)

Again today, I don't have anything to say! Well, it is morning so stuff could happen today :P I started writing this entry two days ago, so each day I could add to it until I felt it ready to be posted =) Yesterday and the day before, I felt like going outside most of the day, and really didn't want to come on the computer. It was strange, I never had that feeling before, haha. Therefore I tried spending most of my day away from the computer. It worked only about 80% :P I played baseball, reluctantly, with my brother. (And hit a homerun!) Three innings was all he asked for, but we were playing in the middle of the day, hottest time, and I wanted a break which made him stomp off and quit. Concluding that activity. Later I just sat in the hammock, or walked around my yard barefoot which I find fun lol. I walked down to the stream after baseball because I was really hot, and went right in the stream and knelt in it, splashing myself. I would have sat or lay all down because it felt good, but never did. I've been riding my bike a lot, too. I made a path that I like to go around and around while listening to my iPod for at least a half hour-over an hour everyday, depending. ^.^ I've also been trying to practice running on occasion. I don't think I take the time to simply go for a healthy run enough, so I try to run once in awhile. I don't enjoy running very much though.

Right now it is raining out, which makes me sad. I promised myself to go and complete three innings for sure today with my brother (as it's supposed to be cooler). I guess I will go record/iPod now..aka iPoding. The term I made when I record songs/put them onto my iPod. I am trying to gather and completely have all the songs I want on my iPod before the vacation. That way I have a nice, enjoyable playlist for the car ride. Yay, I wrote a nice amount surprisingly, without having had anything to say. I guess this is just a rambling entry after all.

One more thing! Blog layout should be up oh so very soon =)

Laptop Screen

I'm at my sister and brother-in-law's apartment right now. I stayed over last night and I'm going to stay over again tonight because my brother-in-law doesn't have work because he was injured the other day cutting open something. He cut his middle finger to the bone, but it wasn't a major injury; he was gushing blood every once in a while though. So him and I are just going to chill while my sister is at work, however (sadly enough) she's home now (pun included). They put a dart board in my bedroom and I quickly became addicted to the games 301 and Cricket. I'm actually good at darts. I got a ton of double and single bullseyes, triple and double numbers, and the whatnot. I kicked both my brother-in-law's and sister's behinds on 301, including one game last night where I got two double bullseyes in a row almost and a triple 19 or 18. The funny thing is that almost nobody can beat my brother-in-law at darts, so that's a sign that I'm somewhat good at it. Now when people ask me what I'm good at, I'll say writing and darts. But damn, is it hot out. The last two days it was above 90 degrees and I've had huge headaches just by being out in the sun. Thankfully the temperature is going down a bit, and I'm sitting in my sister's bedroom while the fan is on high in the window nearby. I was sitting on this bed before working on my Runescape trivia questions when I yelled to my brother-in-law, Bobby, when I noticed while looking at an open candy bar on the nightstand small ants all crawling around it. So after my sister got home from work we went shopping down at Quinns and Bob picked up some ant traps, so that should do the trick.

Just a few minutes ago I noticed something about my laptop that is really bugging me. The computer screen is all smugged up and blurry and there's little dots on the screen that when I try to get off with my finger nail, it gets works and then I have a nice fingerprint on the screen making the situation worse. One thing about laptops -- you can't buy a new screen/monitor. With a desktop, if the screen is bothering you, dump it and get a new one, no problem. Laptops, you have to dump the whole computer if the screen bothers you...but I didn't do any research so that's just my theory. Maybe if you could pop the glass out of the screen or something or I don't know...

I'm being forced to go eat so make sure you have a good one.

P.S. I'm taking a break from Runescape, however check out #Foote_Chat on SwiftIRC, I have my trivia running with 316 questions and more to come, plus my Runescape hangman. I'm done with slayer for now because I was assigned 13 bronze dragons and hell no I'm not doing those. But something is pushing me away from playing the game anymore. Is it a phase? Did that killerwatt assignment and me trying to kill the ThZaar folks with my whip scare me away as they hit constant 15's to me. Who knows?

[UPDATE after posting]: I forgot to add a few old Runescape pictures that I uploading right before I first published this post. So, here they are.

July 12th: I was cutting magic trees in my recovery to get my whip hen this one guy who's chopping the tree with me said that you can't get abyssal whips from abyssal demons. I just laughed to myself about that and even told Craig about it. So, I took a picture of the situation.

June 24th: I think I was fletching maple logs into logbows when I was heading back and noticed these two guys wearing full dragon, but I think without the shield. Thought I would take a picture of the event. By the way, my character is a woman in the picture.

June 25th: Fishing lobsters when this guy made some blue fires in a small shape. I thought it was cool and took a picture.

June 27th: I was in the Heroes' Guild dungeon when I headed over to the runite rocks and noticed that there were ore in one of them.

I didn't post these pictures in the past because they were on my laptop, not my desktop. And I can't find those pictures of Zezima's house when I was there for the second time. They were really good pictures too and I even got one of him. But, you win some and you lose some.

And thank you Caitlin for commenting about the screen wipes, I'll buy some ASAP.

Good day.

Whip It Hard

3,001 magic logs later, selling them all to two different buyers for 1k each, I finally got the money I needed, plus 900k+ extra, to buy a whip. I bought the whip just two days ago on July 13th. I tried selling my magic logs in game, screaming out in the Seers' Village bank in multiple worlds. Then I quickly went over to the offical Runescape forums marketplace and created a thread to sell my logs. I got two different buyers and sold all 3,001 logs; 2,000 to one and 1,001 to the other. Then without a second glance, I ran over to the Talverly Dungeon and killed lesser demons and baby blue dragons, getting my prayer up a level. It felt good to have my whip back again, killing monsters fast and hitting them hard. People laugh at me because my max hit with a whip without the special is 17 (never hit higher than 17 with a special [never hit 17 with a special]) but that's good enough for me. You know, I honestly don't care at times that people laugh at the levels of my current stats. If I like them and I'm happy with them, then that's all that matters. Am I happy with my level 1 construction? Of course! I have better things to put my money into than to build a house. Actually...I don't. But you know, I have my famous magic trees to cut for any construction money needs. I think I might go buy a dragon medium helmet, leaving me with only about 200k+ in the bank.

After killing a bit at the Taverly Dungeon, I wanted to do slayer and finally finish off those 11 cave slimes that I needed to slay. I went to the Slayer Master at the Edgeville Dungeon and bought a spiny helmet to prevent wall beasts from attacking me, got swamp tar from the Lumbridge Swamps, took it to Rimmington, and made some oil for my bullseye lantern, then I put the lantern all together, lit it, and went into the Lumbridge Caves, making sure I took some anti-posion potions. They were quick to kill, all 11, and I only got posioned once or twice. Then I had other tasks to do, switching from the Canfsis Slayer Master to the Edgeville Dungeon Slayer Master inbetween. Not in any order and not containing all I had to slay (remember, I'm highly forgetful), I had to kill the cave slimes, vampires, cave crawlers, vampires, desert lizards, skeletons, zombies, banshees, harpie bug swarms, werewolves, and now my current task: kill 51 hellhounds. I still have about 44 to go. Believe me, if you melee them, they practically suck your food up. Only killing that few, I ran out of a whole inventory of lobsters because the darn things were hitting up to 11's on me. I could take the oppurtunity to train ranged on them because me level is so low, or even magic (I got a lot of deaths from killing the level 75 monsters in the Security Stronghold, which I did for the first time once I got my whip, which took place right before I started slayer), but I prefer whipping things, and whipping them hard.

I didn't post yesterday for two reasons. A) I grounded myself from the computer to read my book "The Pearl" for school, which slowly led to the B) situation. While I was on the couch in the parlour reading the book, I heard a knock on the door and upon opening it stood my buddy Joey. One of my Mayfield friends, and not going to Mayfield all summer, I didn't see him all summer. When spoke for a while and then went for a bike ride up to Mayfield to his house. I didn't plan on it but we went to the yearly summer picnic in Mayfield that day with him, called the "Corn and Clam Slam". Then the B) thing popped up around eight o' clock when I was supposed to go home. So here's the situation: B) I slept over Joey's house, therefore no blog posting. We played the Playstation 2 for a while, playing "Juiced". That is a great racing game and only one of the few I like, or actually really played at that fact. My average racing game is Mario Kart, not any realistic street racing title. But after racing a few races, we just got the idea to wreck into each other with the Viper GTS or whatever the hell it was which turned out to be a blast, and I actually got a cramp from laughing. Oh yes, we watching Pee-Wee's Great Adventure that night too, it was on TV. Since Pee-Wee was on Adult Swim, I watched it. Weird and goofy show, but I like it. I laugh at things that make little sense or is just downright strange. But the movie was very different from the show, a bit more real for that matter. More down to earth if you know what I mean.

Anyway, Joey had to go to a graduation party or the whatnot for his sister or something (I honestly too tired to even remember general details) and I had to go. However, my friend, Corey, took me to the Corn and Clam Slam again today. Kyle came also. Today was the day of the parade. They ran out of clams right as soon as I was about to buy some, so I had clam chowder today. Fried dough is good. Corey lost another eight dollars at the wheel, losing twelve on Thursday. I'm too tired to type and focus. So...Runescape pictures!

I'm going to go fall asleep playing Runescapre and killing hellhounds. Those pictures I promised will hopefully come soon. And we got a new writer for Buddy Foote's Blog v.2! But only will they reveil themselves upon their first day of posting! Hopefully with a new friend to the community, you will see a much more updated blog, now that we have three muskateers writing on it.

1299 gold bars to go, so have a good day. (Random good-bye saying).

Past Life

Hello everyone, it's Caitlin. I had absolutly nothing to write about for quite a few days now.. probably going over a week! -meep- So that's not good :P I just was looking at some page and then ended up taking an online quiz titled "What were you in a past life?" .. hahaha well this is what it told me and I find it funny and weird because there wasn't even questions to answer, it just asked for profession so I put Student? :P

In a Past Life...

You Were: A Mute Poet.
Where You Lived: Alaska.
How You Died: In Childbirth.

LoL?!?! Anyways I think that was a nice way to start off an entry, right? :P I think each time you try something you will get a different result. I am bit tempted to see what else might come up.. I started to read the first book out of three for the upcoming school year. "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. It only has three chapters, and is a very short book, the chapters are quite long though, so I read a few pages a day. When I started I have to admit I was really confused because there was this intoduction part that made no sense. Now that I am in the story I am slowly figuring it out. It is a science fiction story, and I haven't read many (if any) of those, so I guess it takes place in the future or just what the author thiks could become of the future? It is about a fireman and apparently firemen in the future set houses on fire rather than put them out, because the one girl character is asking the fireman "Is it true that many years ago firemen used to actually put fires out rather than start them??" .. so it's a bit strange and the main character, the fireman, really confuses me with what he does sometimes... or at least the way it is written sounds like he has magic powers..haha.

I have been playing Runescape often the past few days. I haven't done much except collect cowhides to sell, because once I watched Buddy Foote sell some, I was eager to try myself and become successful. I sold two batches of them since & now I have some money and it was really fun. ^_^ I don't think many levels went up in any skills. My combat level is 20 now.. and my prayer went up two or three times from burying cow bones but that's about it. After this entry I am going to play a bit before lunch. In fact, I am so surprised I am even awake right now at 10:44AM! ;P Oh, and I must mention that I got my brother, Chase, to create his own Runescape username! We were outside together one afternoon and I was talking about how fun it is, and said he should check it out so watching him do tutorial island was helpful to me too (: He really explores though. I was and still am nervous to wander off and get lost but Chase was running all over the place and ended up in Falador all the way from Lumbridge! He found all these neat things too.. so it was pretty cool. I just had Chase take that 'Past Life' quiz himself and here is what it told him (LoL) :

In a Past Life...

You Were: An Insane Despot.
Where You Lived: Boliva.
How You Died: Hung for treason.

It is supposed to be really warm here this weekend, a heatwave I guess. I am looking forward to going out swimming somewhere, but it just is really hot to sleep at night, so that's the only down side to me anyways xP Buddy Foote and I discussed and worked on the layout last night. I think it's coming along great and definately can be put up before the blog's birthday! :D Oh, and just to note, I edited the stuff I had written in my blogger profile and changed some things ^^ I guess that's it for now. Have a good day (:

Ghost Town

Six days and this web site that you are currently viewing has not been updated. Sad? Of course. Why? Because of my bad case of being lazy and the feeling of not wanting to type. I mean, I swear it's been a full month since I took those pictures of my hunting cabin, more pictures of Zezima's house, and all of the other little things that I promised in the past. Well, expect another 56k motherload very shortly. Why? I'm going to be spending a bit of time with my two computers next to each other. My laptop will host my addiction to Runescape whereas my desktop will host the Imageshack page where I'll be uploading tons of pictures. I'll probably get started on that ASAP, right after I hit the 'Publish' button. Sure, the pictures may not be anything special, but the fact that I left something undone that I promised to do for a month is just downright sad and pathetic. This very blog has turned into a ghost town the past week, and hopefully that will change.

I realized that I'm wasting my summer on the computer, in the house, on Runescape. I realize this when I hear younger kids outside yelling to each other, playing, while I'm sitting upstairs in my bedroom at my desk on my laptop chopping magic trees to gain a profit for another whip. By the way, I have a few things to mention about whips later on. Also, I realized this when the real Foote called me the other day. We talked for a good two hours about football, school, protected sex and how it's considered a sin because it's a form of birth control, gay marriage, the Pope, and any other topic that involves being a Christain when I brought up the fact that I haven't visited his town of Mayfield yet by traveling only about a mile on my bike. Half a summer without me going to Mayfield once is sad for me, however their small carnival, the Corn and Clam Slam, is this Thursday to Saturday so I will indeed visit the more beautiful town than Jermyn. But I want to actually go for a bike ride over and have a real visit. But, my bike is somewhat broken and I have a back brake that doesn't work, but makes an annoying noise that I enjoy to create when I squeeze it. I mean, last year I'd be playing backyard football with them almost everyday, when I was about combat level twenty to fourty in Runescape and not too involved in the game. Actually I gave up Runescape for a month when I was still a f2p player because of how everybody stole my ore rocks when mining. But what made me feel really bad is when I go back to school, or even sooner at Binder's birthday party, and my friends ask me what I did over the summer, what am I going to say? "Oh, I um...sat on my ass in a semi-comfortable chair at my computer desk on two computers at the same time playing the most addicting thing that ever came into my life that will probably suck the soul out of my body. And, um...I went swimming three times, read the summer reading books, and went for a walk through the woods a mile or two to the Archbald Park and back, almost dying from the heat." I want to change and enjoy my summer more.

I told Craig the other day on Runescape that I wasn't going to play as much. I took a break cutting magics (had 1.5k when I took the break, and just Monday I started cutting again and now I have 2.1k magics) and went to get the requirements to fully make a bullseye lattern -- 49 crafting, smithing, and firemaking. I thought that when I get my whip again that I wouldn't want to raise those levels to do slayer (I still have that task of killing the cave slimes in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves) so I got them out of the way. At inbetween getting 48 to 50 smithing, I went and did two quests -- The Family Crest and Jungle Potion. The Family Crest to get the goldsmith gaulnets to make getting smithing up faster and easier. I found the best method of getting and smelting gold ore which hardly has anybody else there -- mine the four gold rocks in Thzaar, then the four gold rocks outside of the city in Karamja Volcano, then repeat the process. Well, I got the levels, also getting 60 mining and magic, and now I went back to cut magics. Oh yes, I went off track a bit. I tend to do that a lot. Anyway, I told Craig on Runescape that I wasn't going to play Runescape as much and waste my time on the game. I think he got a bit mad or questionable about something when I said that, but I told him I need to do other things during the summer to enjoy my freedom from school. I mean, my father and I were shopping at Wal-Mart the other day when I was wandering around the main aisle of the store, near the check-outs, when I looked up at the celing and noticed back-to-school ads already. I mean it's fricking July, give us teens and children time to get away from school, not introduce it to us in the middle of our vacation from stress. I think even before I saw these signs my father asked me if I needed anything for school. I quickly ran away.

Anyway, back on topic! Well, I tried, I really did, to stop playing Runescape for hours after hours. I mean, I even started to do the chores around the house that I was supposed to -- darn, I forgot to water the garden and turn the filter off on the pool. Well, it's almost one in the morning, too late now. I think it just rained outside though, we got a small thunderstorm. Damn, it's thundering again! And my show will be on at 1:30 on Adult Swim, about Lil' Slugger. I fell in love with that show. I saw all of the episodes so far besides the first and anything after the one where the old guy, middle-aged man, and the small girl get together from over the internet to commit suicide. Funny episode, really. Sure the concept isn't funny, but just the way they were chasing after Lil' Slugger to want to be killed by him -- pure genius. Wow, I really got off-track there. One of the many problems I have I guess. Well, I never stopped playing Runescape as much as I wanted to. I get addicted to it more and more everyday I swear. My parents even go to threatening me to do something or they'll unsubscribe my membership, even though I had my membership since October of last year. But, I think I'll try to get outside more often. I've been going swimming more and more, and I even got to hang out with Craig today -- however I brought my laptop over his house and we both played Runescape at our own computers, so technically I didn't get away from the game in that situation.

Anyway, about whips in Runescape. As you know if you read my blog (I do actually have a few faithful readers as I found out over time) I was hacked in Runescape last Monday (wow, a whole week already) and lost my whip and full rune, however I was able to of course retreive my account back. I rebought my full rune but I need to buy another whip. And that alone is actually a good thing. I bought my first whip for 2.6 mil gp, which seemed like a great deal to me, even though I was aiming to buy one for 2.5 mil. Well, I might buy my next whip for as low as maybe 2.2 mil gp or lower. Why? More abyssal demons! Yes, with the new update today with the second part of the fairy storyline introduces a new way to teleport around Runescape and to other dimensions. One of these new areas introduces a new place to kill the abby demons. If I put two and two together correctly, more demons should equal more whips because there's more demons to go around. Therefore with more whips, there will be a great supply than demand. With more of a supply than a demand, the price of whips should fall. Maybe by 100k, maybe by 400k-500k (hopefully), who knows? I'll just take my time cutting magics and selling my tree seeds. Yes, I have about 600k+ worth of tree seeds I have to sell and about 180k+ steel items I have to high alch. When I sell these seeds, high alch my steel items, sell my 3k magic logs (once I cut the rest), and add the money I currently have, I'll have 3.9+ mil gp sitting in my bank. With a lower whip price introduces even more money I get to keep. Maybe I'll buy a dragon med... But I have a Runescape fact to add: the first abyssal whip sold for 65 million gp. Wow.

Now, I must go and upload those picture already and maybe play Runescape...I'm actually a bit tired of playing it today. Of course! I'll just play it so much until I get sick of it and enjoy the rest of my summer outside with the swarm of moths flying all over the place! Pure genius!

To the magic trees!

Oh yes, good day to y'all.

P.S. The new layout will be coming out sooner than you think, as this blog's birthday is this very month -- July 24th.

Magic Trees

People always told me that you got magic logs pretty slow, but at that statement I beg to differ. I'm getting magic logs pretty fast in my emergency plan of getting money to get my whip back. I already have about 1,200 magic logs stored in my bank and that was only in a four-day period and I haven't played much those four days either. So at the rate I'm going at, I should have a whip in a week or so. This is because I'm selling my magic logs for 1k each, no lower. If you're interested, please comment here or contact me in-game. I'm going to try and sell on the forums first, then on #RSmarket channel on SwiftIRC. Then last but not least if I can't sell them those ways, I'll sell standing in a bank in-game screaming out, "Selling 3k magics!" If you want to stop in to say hi while I'm cutting magics, or to cut with me, I'm at the two magic trees near the Mage Training Arena north of the Duel Arena. I like it there -- not too busy and close to the Duel Arena's bank. If you haven't heard in my last blog entry, I got hacked and I lost my whip and full rune armour. I got my full rune back because I had 400k gp in my bank but now I just need the money for my whip. I got my whip at a great deal, though, and I doubt I'm going to be able to buy it for 2.6 million again. I was at World 18, Seers' Village when I saw people selling whips for 2.7-2.8 mil. I guess I'll just go to a non-busy world and buy it for a low price, like I did the first time. Oh, by the way, I'm chopping magics mostly in worlds 18, 71, or 124+. I prefer World 18 at the moment because it's the fighting world and people are mostly dueling or pking in the wilderness in that world and not doing other skills. Therefore when the world gets full, it prevents other people who want to cut the magic trees I'm at to wander in.

Just now I was taking a break from magics to go get my ranging up, but I got bored with that quickly, only getting one ranging level up.

I'm looking for another person to come here and post on this blog every once in a while, let it be about Runescape, their life, a strange event, a party, how wasted they got last night, etc. I already have a name in mind though. I won't just accept anyone, and I need to know you in real-life or be a real good friend of yours on Runescape. I offered my buddy Julus Cesr to come and join the Buddy Foote community, but he's been having some problems lately that I don't want to mention. So...be on the look-out. I might just be asking you.

I'm in the process of uploading my pictures of my hunting cabin to the internet for that "special" post. And I didn't post those pictures of fireworks and movie because I went to an unexpected overnight party at Craig's house where we played Runescape all night. I was just cutting magics when I played, but he was ranging blue dragons for their hide and bones, went through the Underground Pass to the "elf world" to get a crystal bow, and watched him do two treasure clue scrolls. He got through one but in the other (which involved him going to the wilderness to the lava maze), he was killed by a pker. He actually could've killed the pker if he tried, because half-way through the battle he felt like fighting back (he was just protecting himself at first because the pker made sure he couldn't move) and was kicking the pkers behind, slightly owning him. And the guy had a whip! But he ended up dying and losing the clue scroll. And we picked out a route and world where he shouldn't have ran into anybody...

I have more to say, but I'm not in the mood currently. I have one of those "doing a lot of school work" headaches, but it's the summer. And my blogging to-do list is getting larger everyday. I need to get back onto track...

Good day to you.

The Fourth

Happy late 4th of July! [: ....You know what I just noticed? In the last entry I, Caitlin, wrote on Monday .. the 'Runescape and Driving' one, I did not really start that one by letting you know it was I who was writing. The reason I only do that is so people wouldn't get confused..I doubt anyone would.. but I do it anyways. Maybe I don't have too.. I don't even know but yeah I just noticed that. =P I keep staring down at my keyboard here because it looks so nice at the moment! It's a white colored one so it gets dirty a lot and I finally decided it was time to clean it so I spent about a half hour wiping each and every key. Now it looks brand new and I keep touching it lightly for fear I'll get it so dirty all over again haha xD

Anyways, yesterday was the 4th of July and I spent the whole day with my friends Abby and Nicole. I was told I could come over at 11:30 in the morning and stay until 10 at night. I woke up at 8AM yesterday (which is a big deal for me haha) and wasted so much time I got there a bit late like I did with Nicole this other day. I honestly don't know what is wrong with me that I can't seem to get anywhere at a specific time anymore ?! -shrugs- I had a lot of fun though so I will spend some time sharing the day with you.

I brought my Dance Dance Revolution Max 2 because it's Abby's favorite and she only has the Max version (I like my extreme version so much better because the songs are better). We played that in her room for a little bit. I just finished playing DDR 10 minutes ago too. Abby dances on the mat in a different way without coming back to the center after each step so I was trying to do it her way which is hard because I am so used to hopping back to the middle each time. It looks like you are really dancing around if you don't come back to the center, but if you do, it looks like you're hopping around like a kangaroo. ^_^ After that we walked up the street to Abby's grandmother's house to eat and to me it seemed like Abby's whole family was there.. and they must have been or at least a pretty good chunk of them and I had never met all of them before so that was interesting and funny. I have met her one well-known Uncle Joe before many times though.. I mean everyone knows who he is! =P He kind of scares me though.... O.o hahaha. After eating we got bored so wet a Bass Pro Shop tatoo and stuck it on Uncle Joe's arm, stared at some chickens, and I was excited to finally get to be shown the 'Decomp' which is this old camping trailer Abby and Nicole are trying to makeover but it was really cool, and smaller than I thought it'd be. This whole time Abby and I were thinking I might have the same trailer but the old one sitting & rotting away back down in my backyard is bigger (I miss it now too.. hm) Then Abby, Nicole and I decided to just walk on the road over to the lake carrying all of our things. We each brought water guns and Nicole's had some water in it already and as cars went by Abby tried to spray them with water :P We got to Abby's lake trailer/cottage thing whatever you want to call it and spent most of the time in there by ourseleves actually because Abby and Nicole were finishing this dance Abby made up to the song Miss Murder by AFI and it's really good! Later we went for a couple boat rides around the lake, ran around and got each other soaked with the water guns, bugged Boyd, took pictures, and had a cookout. It had been quite a while since I last ate hot dogs and marshmallows cooked over a real fire but it was lots o' fun. ^^ Nicole and I kept eating these chocolate doughnuts too because they were so good whether they were melting & dripping in the sun or not.. yummy (: We also played this game.. I don't know how it's spelt or what they said they called it but I played with Nicole, Abby & her family and it was fun and simple enough. :P There were 4 sets of 2 colored balls so 2 people on a color team (I was on the green team just to note xD ).. and then a smaller white ball that is thrown anywhere and the object is just to throw your ball as close as you can get it to the white ball. For when it seemed too close they even had a tape measurer to see which ball was closest. Haha it was fun though! :) More later on Abby's one uncle came with this beautiful Saint Benard dog named Brandy and she was sooo sweet and big and fluffy and I fell in love with her ^^ Once it got dark we played with sparklers (writing our name in the air) and then people started shooting off the fireworks so we went on the boat to the middle of the lake again and watched them and it was really nice. :) Abby's sister's boyfriend bought 3 fireworks of his own and he lit those and they were the best ones and beat anybody elses across the lake because they were really big and right above my head but it was cool :P No special fireworks show or anything.. and nothing will ever beat the fireworks down in Ocean City Maryland on the beach for the 4th of July. Oh my gosh do I miss those. The last time I went to Ocean City for the 4th of July (which is the most crowded weekend to go there EVER) was I think in 2002.. or something. I mean it is the best fireworks I ever saw! :D I hope to see those again.. because the lake's were like sparks compared hehe :) Buddy Foote mentioned he went to see the fireworks in Honesdale and I saw those a couple times a few years ago and they are really awesome so I agree with him.. hm I wish I could have gone to see those xP

Starting next week I guess I have no choice and must begin reading the summer reading books for school. I have 3 to read: 'The Pearl' ... 'Animal Farm' ...& 'Fahrenheit 451' . I don't have a problem with reading them.. I read over the summer regardless because I can be a 'lil bookworm. The only thing that makes me upset is once I start reading these I won't read any books I want to read for leisure purposes because then I will get mixed up and it's important I understand these books since we get tested on them when we go back to school. In a way it is really having homework over the summer. I keep putting them off because I wanted to read just one more teen novel :P I guess that's all I have to say for now...except if I mention Runescape and the fact I haven't played since Buddy Foote told me he was hacked -points to previous post- and that made me really upset and angrier than I'd been in a long time because it is really really unfair. :( I don't want to think about it..but at least he says he won't quit. I'll try to write again in a few days or when something interesting happens because it's fun to be able to write here.

"Hacked and Holy"

Well, first off, Happy 4th of July to all Americans out there. Yep, today years and years and years ago the Declaration of Independence was signed by the Fathers of this grand and beautiful country of freedom and independence. Then, all of the other countries in the world tried to follow in our footsteps of being a democracy. For example, the country of Iraq today. I doubt I'll be going to any firework displays today. July 1st my sister and her husband took me to Mellow Park in Peckville; the place had good popcorn but the fireworks stunk. Then yesterday my father took my sister, her husband, and I up to Honesdale in Wayne County to view their wonderful fireworks. Every year we almost went there and they have one of the best displays in the area. And that held true yet again yesterday. I took pictures of the two firework displays and even video of the Honesdale ones, but you know how I am with getting media on here. For example, let's look at my to-do list:
  • Get pictures of my hunting cabin I don't even remember how many weeks ago on here with blog posts written in green tablet.
  • Get the updated pictures of the flood and the high waters of the Aylesworth Creek Lake on here.
  • Get pictures of my second visit to Zezima's house on here. (By the way, my friend Dante on Runescape had a video of him dancing and trading with Zezima but is having troubles uploading it to be public on the internet.
  • Get the pictures of the fireworks up, and the video...today, well, later on today.
I'll probably get these done though because my addiction to Runescape has went downhill, a very steep hill with a lava pit at the bottom. Why?

"Hacked and Holy", a blog entry stolen from my old blog. I think it had to do when somebody hacked my old blog and put gay porn on it, but that's not the point. We're talking Runescape-related. I was hacked in Runescape yesterday.

I slept over my sister's house twice over this weekend; once Saturday night and once Sunday night. Both times I took my laptop. I didn't expect to get internet however I still wanted to take it anyway. When I got there on Saturday, I sat on my sister's bed and pulled my laptop out and turned it on (a very long process) and to my amazement, I had internet access. Sure the signal was 'very low' and even went to 'no signal' (to which I would still have the internet but it had a 50% chance of working a couple minutes later), the internet was still there in front of me on my own private laptop. I didn't want to hog my sister's desktop, so I resumed using my laptop.

Just the day before I went up my sister's, I bought my whip on Runescape for 2.6 million gp. The guy who I bought it from laughed at me ("lolololololol") when I offered 2.5 mil, but when I personal messaged him asking for a price (which I was afraid he'd say 2.8 to 3 mil, because I only had around 2.950+ mil), he said 2.6 mil and I sounded, "Deal!". That was a good offer though. I ran to my bank booth, got an extra 100k out, and went back to him and got my whip. God was I happy. One of my lifelong dreams was now achieved on Runescape, taking the form of step two of my Runescape plan. Done. Step three: Get 52 prayer. I thought this step would be a lot easier with a whip. So, at my sister's and even a little bit before I went, I was at the Taverly Dungeon fighting baby blue dragons for their baby dragon bones, which give a good amount of prayer exp. I was killing the baby dragons like there were n tomorrow with a whip, doing 15, 10, 11, 17, etc. or the everyday 5, 2, 8. But it so was fast that the low hits or 0's I hit didn't matter. Before I knew it I'd keep on getting a full inventory due to the bones. Well, my lobsters take up probably more than half my inventory, as well as my dusty key, three airs, one law, and one water rune. But I even fought some lesser demons for the first time (besides the Dragon Slayer quest) and even got the semi-rare drop of a rune medium helmet. Life was good.

Then yesterday, Monday, I was on my laptop at my sister's around one o' clock talking to Craig on Runescape while I was fighting the baby blues, but I had to go home around then because my sister wanted to go swimming at my house. After swimming, I came upstairs to play Runescape because I was really eager to resume my plan. Actually I was going to cheat my plan and just get 46 prayer, then go get the requirements to make a bullseye latern so I could do slayer and kill those cave slimes already. I typed in my user name and password and to my surprise got "Invalid Name or Password". I got that a lot because I always mess up typing either my name or password. Sometimes I would have two spaces between Buddy and Foote or forget the "e" on Foote. I retried about three times and still got the same error message. At this I started to freak out because I had the one word that was running through my mind: hacked. I quickly went over to the offical Runescape site to answer my password recovery questions to change my password, and luckily did do so. I went to sign on and this time it worked. I remember my heart was beating so hard that I honestly felt like I was going to have a heart attack and my breathing was heavy. After some lag, the screen finally appeared. I click continued or play game or whatever it says in that red bo at the bottom of the screen near that tip of the day. And I then was heart broken at that moment and cursed the world.

I was standing in East Varrock Bank without my full rune armour on and with my whip gone. I looked in my inventory. There was some baby dragon bones and my ring of life. I looked at my equipment menu and saw that I still had my boots of lightness, light blue wilderness team cape, three iron arrows, and...I think that's it. I quickly went to my bank booth and saw that the PIN was supposed to be deleted in the next three days. I quicky got in and stopped the recovery by entering the right PIN. Luckily, my banked items were still there, and the only money I had: 300k+ gp. First thought: I'm quitting Runescape. I'm out of here, good-bye! It took a year away from my life that I could never get back. Why? Because I was afraid of how I got hacked. I didn't have a clue. Tip.It staff is sending e-mails around about some virus that can get onto your computer and retrieve your account information if you go on their forums, but I downloaded a new anti-virus program and scanned and got zero infected files. That scared me even more. Then I was afraid that I had a keylogger. Then I was afraid that somebody got my information from the unknown internet I used at my sister's house. Then I was afraid of everything..I don't know. But Craig yelled at me to not quit, so I'm not.

Curses below. I'm warning you now.

I'm just going to cut magic trees, get my money back, and laugh at those damn fucking son-of-a-bitches who have to be fricking geeks to go that low in life over a damn game that you're supposed to have fun playing, not compete over each other and steal each other's pixel money and items! I mean, I pay for this game and to have somebody go through my fricking stuff and steal both fake and real money away from me, they need a new direction is their fucking little pathetic lives to go around creating programs and viruses or trojans to steal a Runescape account! Hey, let's sell it on eBay! I bet if I go to eBay right now I'll see "Level 81 account for sale!".

Now I must go.

Runescape and Driving

Budding Runescape Addict. I think that can describe me very well at this moment. (: I have been playing Runescape the most I ever have this week, and it has been wonderful! It's a really awesome game, and I like it even more than I thought I would! I mentioned last time that I was slowly starting to login more and stood around and tried to become familiar with the different pictures and just that real newbie stuff, but lately I have been actually playing (besides the few times I did my first 2 quests with Buddy Foote which was really fun but I never went in it by myself until now) so I am all excited over this. I made my username months ago and had not played very much.

Now onto the good stuff! Let me tell you everything I did. I stayed near the bank in Draynor but once I got used to successfully walking past the jail without getting harmed, I became a lot more comfortable and less nervous so ventured into the woods following the edited map Buddy Foote made for me which is so helpful. I always had it open so I can stay somewhat within the circles he drew. I tend to hang around by this well that is a bit past the jail so I claim that to be my spot. It's nice there.. and a pretty unicorn comes by sometimes (which Buddy Foote killed yesterday!! :P :P) but I am pretty sure it will come back to life haha -wink- :D I killed a lot of Goblin things.. a whole bunch of them (The spiders small&large seemed really pointless). At first the goblins would do some damage to me and I'd chop trees while waiting to regain back some lost HP before I'd kill more. They would always leave bones and usually some other neat stuff. I buried all the bones, and even picked up lots of extra bones people simply didn't care for. My woodcutting level is the highest out of all the things I can do.. I forget what it's called... skills maybe? Anyways I chopped lots of trees, but didn't start carrying my tinderbox until just yesterday because I was worried if I died out in the woods or by the jail I'd lose it or something and I didn't want too.. because I only have 1 =/ I like carrying it now, because I got my firemaking up. The firemaking and woodcutting skills raise levels really fast for me it seems. The rest, especially prayer, are slow like snaiLs!

I had a lot of fun logging in each day for hours these past few nights working on killing goblins, chopping trees, burying bones, and now firemaking. That's all I have been doing so far.. I am too scared to start fishing because of all the things I have to look out for. Now I will list my current levels in everything that I am so proud of! :D Ah I am having so much fun, I mean yesterday I ran back into the computer room here so fast to resume playing that I ripped a whole chunk of skin off of my toe which resulted in more bleeding than I thought and like.. yeah it was painful enough I had to mention it :P (Sorry if it grossed you out.. -meep-)

Combat Level- 13
Attack, Strength and Defence- 10
14/14 Hitpoints .. I gained some which was good ^^
Prayer- 8 (Due to burying those bones!) :)
Woodcutting- 21 (I can chop oak trees now)
Firemaking- 15 (So I can burn the oak logs now yay yay!)

.. and that's all I raised :D Yay!! It's fun! And as you can tell I am excited over it. (: It is even more fun when Buddy Foote and friends come and join me by the well. I liked that a lot.. I had company! Yay, lol, it was so much fun =D I can't wait to find time to play again.. I may get to tonight.. but tomorrow I think I am going with Abby and maybe others (?) to a lake for the 4th of July the whole day .. hm I need to call her. But anyways I will mention what I was up to today. Wow oh wow oh wow! Just guess.. no don't. You won't ever figure it out. Well maybe.. O.o

I went out around town to a park and for a walk this afternoon.. and then we were halfway home when my dad turned the car around and we headed to my school. I got scared because I knew this day would come (haha!) No.. but really we barely pulled in the lot, and he stopped, got out, and goes "Caitlin, come here and sit in the driver's seat." Poor little me.. -gulps- I was like "Umm...um um.." and I reluctantly climb in and sat there. My father started explaining a lot of stuff to me today about driving. He was telling me for a while he wanted to teach me a few things. I keep flip-flopping opinions in my head about driving. Sometimes I am really scared & even sad because I don't want to drive.. I mean it's this huge deal and it was always to me some 'grown up' thing I wanted nothing of.. I don't want to grow up and drive. Some kids in my grade are counting down the days until they get their permits, but I try not to think of it. As I was sitting in the driver's seat today and learning things I realized it's not sooooooo bad.. but it still seems like a lot to learn. My father had me drive a little bit. But I was driving for the first time ever around and around the parking lot roughly 5 full times. I got familiar with switching gears from parked to drive, and even reverse which was the scariest. He had me hit the gas pedal (extremely lightly keep in mind hehe!!) .. I was a bit scared because my leg was shaking! =O And we moved forward really slowly. Then I had to switch my foot between the brakes and gas and he said I did that really well.. saying some people can't even get that part down and if your foot misses you can hit a wrong pedal hard =/ I liked holding the steering wheel though. Then each time I turned (I didn't hit the curb yay yay yay!!) I had to turn the blinkers on and I am smiling now because it actually was a lot of fun. I, Caitlin, was literally driving! We went went around in a square so I had to brake, look both ways, turn the blinker on, and steer and turn this big truck and I did well. I liked it.. it wasn't so bad... I felt pretty spiffy sitting up there in the front driving seat making a vehicle MoVe!! =O It was quite an experience though. I don't like the gas pedal lol.. when I put the truck in drive it slowly moved itself so I didn't really have to use that pedal (thank goodness!) just the brakes...but then my dad made me try it and it feels .. 'odd' and you can feel the truck thrust forward...the fastest I let it go was barely 5 mph. It was fun.. and really really interesting :D

Wow.. what a day. (: I am not done yet! I am ending with a special section just about Buddy Foote and his Runescape accomplishment! (I didn't forget about it at all [; )

Buddy Foote purchased his whip yesterday in Runescape for over 2mil yet I don't remember exactly how much.. but it was a lot to me. This mean he accomplished step 2 of his Runescape goals! Yay I am really happy he got his whip.. I saw it too and it looks really cool! Congrats to Buddy Foote! :D

Now he is on to Step 3: Get 52 Prayer

I'm sure he'll have that done in no time too.. ^_^ Good job! Now I was just forced to try some steak on our new grill.. yummy.. so I have to go and eat now .. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July too! :)

It'll Come...

Okay, my house was not swept away by the flood, burn down, or any of the things I have said that would have to happen for me to not post. It is just that I'm strongly addicted to Runescape like always, feeling tired or sick, or I'm doing something that is far away from the computer. For example I had to sit in my plastic surgeons' office for more than an hour today due to the amount of patients he had just for him to look at my birthmark and schedule something for six months from today. But anyway, about the June flooding of '06. Hey...it's July now. Anyway, the river levels went back down the last couple days and the final dangers of the Susquehanna cresting is done. However many parts of the river won't go below flood stage until later on today. Back here in Lackawanna County...Well, Jermyn, PA...There was no bad flooding like I said there may be if the river and creek in town increased in height. Actually, Wednesday the Lackawanna River and Rushbrook Creek went down quite a bit. However, Aylesworth Creek Lake (the Aylesworth Dam) was a different story. The lake rose so high that it went up several feet on the wall of the dam and the parking lot was underwater. It was just about to empty into the spillway but the lake still wasn't that high. I took pictures of this but still haven't uploaded them to Imageshack. The damage of this flooding in the widespread area still exists, however, and will for maybe a month or more -- and for the replacement of bridges, years. PennDot is just putting pipes in to replace washed out bridges for now, paving a road over the pipe. Still, this flood was one of the worst anybody ever had and made people have memories of the flooding caused by Hurricane Agnes in 1972. The other day the whole Wyoming Valley was evacuated as a precaution just in case the dikes/levees of the river did not sustain the water, causing another New Orleans-like tragedy. But I will get those pictures of Aylesworth Dam up. I thought they were amazing, showcasing truly how high the lake is. Recall that one picture of Aylesworth with the black barrel in it? Well, I have another picture from Wednesday taken from the top of the wall of the dam that shows probably that same barrel floating around in the parking lot. Amazing...Truly is...

Also, those pictures of the hunting cabin will be up sooner or later. And the blog entries I wrote in a tablet that Monday.

News on IRC chat #Foote_Chat on SwiftIRC: I said I would update the Hangman list every Friday but I didn't today because I only had one visitor in the chat besides Caitlin and I to ever play the game, and I'm not going to make the list bigger if nobody enjoyed version one of it first. So, go to #Foote_Chat on irc.swiftirc.net today to play Runescape hangman!

My Runescape life: I did a lot in my Runescape life before I last spoke about the game. I have my 1k+ yew longbows all strung. I got the matching amount of pure essence. I did the Plague City quest. I did Heroes' Quest (I was bored). And now I have about 850+ nature runes, about 600 of those crafted by me. To craft natures, I wear my nature tiara, boots of lightness (I went and got those by the way), and gnome amulet. I wield a water staff. And I carry laws and about 1k gold. I can make 26 natures a trip. Watch out for those jungle spiders. Anyway, today Caitlin was playing for a few hours, killing gnomes, giant spiders, and chopping trees. Her combat level as of now is 9. Craig came down too to hang out with her on World 43. As I was there with her, Craig told me that Zezima was on and had his private on. I quickly went to the Rimmington portal on a member world and went to his house, seeing Zezima for the second time in his house! He was wearing that infinity mage armour...I believe that's the right one. You know, the pink and rainbow colored one. He was fighting people in his combat ring and people kept on ganging up on him. He, yet again, kicked us out but this time we were teleported back outside of the portal in Rimmington, not on top of Trollheim. Then I went back to Caitlin and Craig on f2p. The end.

Have a good one.
