What's Today Again?

I don't know why I'm even posting right now. My eyelids are almost completely closed because I'm tired from my long day yesterday at Dorney Park near Allentown, PA with Craig and his family, I'm pretty hungry yet there's nothing to eat, and this sunburn on my nexk, back, and shoulders is giving me a headache. Yet there is some unknown force that draws me into posting today and I just don't know what it is. Is it because I didn't post in a couple of days? Neh, I get my lazy strokes sometimes where the lazy meter in my body shoots to a high extreme and I'm required to go into lockdown mode and hiberate in front of the computer for a couple of days playing Runescape or chatting with strangers and/or friends. Is it because Dr. Phil told me to post to vent my frustration at the world? No, but y'know, I was thinking the other day and I realized how fortunte the states in the Northeast are in the USA. Why? They don't have California mudslides or earthquakes, no major F5 regular tordnaoes that we see in the Great Plains and the infamous Tornado Valley, no hurricanes that sweap your house away and flood your backyard and patio, no sandstorms or dust storms that you may see in the hot 105 degrees or above desert, and there's no avalanches because there's really no mountains in the Northeast. So why am I complaining about the Northeast? I'm not, I'm just happy I live there. Sure we get a flood every year but doesn't everybody -- besides that desert? Anyway, back on track. So why am I posting...? Is it because I'm sick of Runescape? Forget about it, not going to happen. Espically when my combat level went up three levels within a few days and thanks to combat level 97 Dante (a loyal reader to this blog and my good friend on Runescape) who told me of a great training spot at the Ice Warriors/Ice Giants in the dungeon south of Port Sarim and southeast of Rimmington, I'm not going to quit anytime soon. Plus I have a new method of training. Train attack and defence with my whip and strength with my dragon longsword. It seems to be going very, very well. Plus I bank my stuff and grab my swordfish at the bank at the Void Knight Outpost which isn't too far away and sometimes even go into Pest Control, joining the IRC chat #pc-hq to find out the current world. Anyway, I seem to have gone way off the track again and crashed the train into a pile of crab meat and eggrolls. So why am I posting!?

Well, it's my blog's birthday.

A year ago this day, July 24th, I joined Blogger and started this new blog, Buddy Foote's Blog v.2. Many people out there may wonder (but a whole year later and I was never asked) what is up with the version two portion of the name of this blog. Well, I had an earlier blog that I only kept up for about five months or less or more back when I was in 8th grade and around 14-years old. During that time I was spammed quite a bit in the comment section and the shoutbox and I was even hacked once by a friend, who put a very dirty picture on the site which was pretty close to being gay porn. Currently my old blog is hacked again so I advise you to not read it -- the hacker edited the text so that it says some total downright bullshit. But that was way after I had this newer blog set up and settled in. And what can I say about this blog? I love it, that's what. Over this past year about 210+ blog entries were posted, about 8,000+ visitors had come onto the site, and two other blog posters had joined the BFBv.2 bandwagon, Caitlin and Chase -- Caitlin started posting in May 2006 when I asked her to because of a short term writer's block that I had and then Chase came just about a week ago in July, 2005. Sorry, the bandwagon is closed to anybody else who may want to write here, as for the next six months. Caitlin pointed out earlier today in her blog post introducing the birthday of the blog and the new layout (which suits the atmosphere of this blog great and makes it look very, very good and attractive to anybody who stumbles in) when she said that in my first blog post (which is actually the second including the test post that I never got rid of and never will) that I had some goals for this new blog, which one, that she pointed out, included to not write as much as I used to. I think I actually write more than I used to because my old blog had a bigger font size thus making the entries seem bigger, but in reality they weren't. This post itself has a lot in it and I'm not even at the second half of what I want to say. But, I need to settle some goals that this blog will go through in the next year that I want to happen. Here is the list, as follows:
  • Purchase a .com domain.
  • Get rid of my lazy meter.
  • Post a picture of my Runescape stats on October 27th, my birthday.
  • Get those pictures that I promised two months ago uploaded.
  • Get my driving permit and a job. Wait, that's the goals of my personal life...
  • Grow an afro.
As you can see, these goals will be very hard and challenging to see through, but hopefully they will see the light of day. Espically those damn pictures. My God, I never let something go undone that long before. I break my promises way too much.

But oh! We have forgotten to sing to BFBv.2 a happy birthday! "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to Buddy Foote's Blog version two! Happy birthday to you!"

See, that whole song had end rhyme. I'm just that good.

Second part of this already long blog post: Dorney Park. The reason I asked Caitlin to go ahead and give the post introducing the blog's birthday and new layout was because I went to Dorney Park yesterday with Craig, sleeping over his house for two nights, thus not being able to be on a computer at the brick of midnight posting the new layout and screaming, "Happy birthday!" Instead I just told Craig last night at twelve as we were watching Aqua Teen, Hunger Force, "Hey, today is my blog's birthday." He responded, "Very nice." The end. Anyway about the park. I'm just going to provide a list of the rides I went on and how many times I went on them. My lazy meter is growing and I have to go to the bathroom. I thought I would share that with you. These rides are not listed in any order, but the water rides will go first because we went to the Wildwater Kingdom first thing in the morning. The "x number" just shows how many times I went on the ride.
  • Aquablast x1
  • Cascade x1
  • Lightning Falls x1
  • Lily Pads x a lot
  • Patriot's Plunge x3
  • Riptide Run x1
  • Runaway River x1
  • Torpedo Tubes x2
  • Wildwater Rapids x3
  • Wildwater River x a lot
  • Hydra x2
  • Laser x1
  • Talon x1
  • Scrambler x1
  • Tilt-A-Whril x1
  • Wild Mouse x1
Well, I shall leave you at that. I might speak in more detail of the park some other time but I'm just not in the mood today. But yet again, happy birthday to BFBv.2 and thank you Caitlin for making the new great layout that we shall see for another year to come.
