Autoers

The free-to-play worlds of Runescape are known for many things, such as congestion, rule-breaking, pures, scamming, merchanting, begging, new players, immature players, and autoers. Of course, this is not a generalization of the f2p servers, as many of the people I know are f2pers and are very mature and follow all the rules (I even have a player moderator friend who is a f2p player). But the f2p servers are generally scarred by such negative aspects and many people are turned off by them, especially members. Yet again, this is not always true, as f2p servers offer slower training in skills than members and many find this to be a challenge so they stay there. Some people, though, argue that Jagex should take away the free servers in an attempt to get rid of many young people and immature people who swarm into the game, but this would ruin the game for me in so many different ways. Sure, I may be a member, but I love going on f2p visits just walking around and reporting any rule breakers that I see when I get bored doing skills. Yes, there are quests that I can do as I have 89 quest points which shows that I still have tons of quests to complete, but for some odd reason I'm always turned off by quests. F2p is my vacation spot when I'm tired from my work in members. Even just standing in the Lumbridge Forest watching autoers fly past me in all directions is relaxing for me. And I'm saying relaxing from an in-game perspective. If you were playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas a lot and got tired of blowing up cars and helicopters with the rocket launcher, your 'relaxation' may be exploring the desert and mountain regions. It's the same case there as my case is in Runescape. But we don't have to worry much about Jagex closing down free-to-play anytime soon. F2p is what attracts many players to get members, thus filling Jagex's wallets with money. Also the ads that display at the top of the page in f2p servers help them too.

My number one relaxation in Runescape when I don't feel like skilling, fighting, or doing quests is to go to free-to-play and report autoers. I'm always reading message board threads on various fan sites that complain that people don't stand around and report autoers enough. I agree with that, but I also agree that reporting autoers won't solve the problem of autoers at all because it's just too easy to bring more autoers into the world of Runescape. But I find that when I do such an activity that I'm somehow helping Jagex by pointing out some of the autoers and to eliminate a few. But I can very well find up from fifty to one hundred autoers a world, and reporting only thirty of them takes a while. Think about this: you can only send in a report every minute. Finding a few autoers takes awhile and then if you find thirty, that's thirty minutes to stand there and report each one. That is what turns almost everybody off from doing what I do because many think that when they play Runescape that they much be doing something productive, as I was the same way when I had my 99 woodcutting goal, but after I finished my goal, I was sick of everything besides 'hunting' down these autoers and that's one of the things that keep me playing. My goal is to now try and eliminate as many autoers as I can by pointing them out to Jagex who will hopefully ban them. Sure, my efforts may be wasted time as for every ten autoers I help get banned, twenty more may be created by the runner of them, but at least I'm having fun by doing it. Botanreaper2 said that I should do a few games of Castle Wars or quests to get back in my former skilling mood and to obtain the patience that I once had for skilling, but I would rather relax in the woods west of Lumbridge or at the docks at Karmaja to get back into my skilling mood.

I just thought of something while typing all of this up. What would happen if Jagex finally enforced the ultimate method to stop all autoers and not a single one roamed fishing, woodcutting, or mining in the game? What would happen to my means of relaxation in the game? I would much rather stand by the pond west of Lumbridge with the many willow trees surrounding it in the middle of nowhere where at least the autoers don't talk than standing in the middle of Varrock by the fountain where people curse, beg, and call me names. If autoers were gone, I would be happy that Jagex took a giant step forward and completed a massive goal to make the game better but at the same time, I would be sad that I wouldn't see any bald men chopping willows with bronze axes at that pond. If auto typers were still around, I would go after them, but it wouldn't be the same as I get headaches seeing all the flashing text flying throughout the playing screen. I do, however, wish that autoers were eliminated from the game because prices of items would stabilize and skillers would finally be able to make money from productive skills like woodcutting and fishing. Then maybe goals like 99 fletching and cooking would be harder as the rich wouldn't be able to buy their levels so easily and would go out and fish and cut their raw materials to use. Then when the demand for such raw materials becomes in high demand, the skillers may rejoice as they can get good money from the desperate rich men and women who seek the materials to level. But that's just my two cents and may not be correct if these situations were to ever occur.

Now how can you tell if a person is an autoer or not? Well...
  • If you see a level three player whose character is white and bald and wearing a tan shirt and green pants (as the default clothing). Also they do not have any facial hair. These characters are not 100% always an autoer, but to make sure they are, trade with them about three times, maybe ask their 'x' level, and wait a few seconds and then report them. If they do not trade nor speak, they may be an autoer. If they have their trade off (it'll say that the player is busy), then it may be a real player or a smart autoing script. I have yet to run into one of these characters with their trade off.
  • Autoers also take the appearance of women and characters with different clothing, hair, and facial hair. If you suspect that this character is an autoer, try talking to them or trading with them. Remember, some level three characters may be 'skillers' who have their public chat and trade off. You may need to take a while guess here and maybe depending upon their name report them.
  • If you reported somebody whose name was yahulu019 and then a couple minutes later you see yahulu037, yahulu067, yahulu064, yahulu016, and yahulu048 (these were real autoers that I reported), then report them. Don't even bother talking to them or trading with them. These people are normally 99.9% of the time autoers and sometimes each one may have a different appearance to try and fool whoever they're trying to fool, whether it be a player or Jagex.
  • A point that I found out yesterday -- If one of these level three characters are using a bronze or steel axe on a yew tree, then there's a good chance that they're an autoer. Yes, that's a very vague theory, but why would an average player want to get logs that slow unless it wasn't a player but a script that ran the character all day long? Because the script is running that character all day, there's no time that a human wastes by getting logs slow because there is no human at the computer. The logs, for the autoer, over time will stack up because they can run that character for days unless they're banned or stopped by some other method. I'm 99 woodcutting and I use a dragon axe and I still get yew logs slow -- I can't imagine then a player with around 60 woodcutting using a steel axe on yews and maintaining their sanity for long. Yes, they could be poor, but only about 66 yew logs cut and they can have enough money for a rune axe. But why would an autoer want to waste money when they're going to use that money on another account or for real world item trading when they can just run all day and eventually get as much logs as a player who played for two hours cutting yews? That's my theory, but I have yet used this theory as evidence to report.
If you really want to stand around and report autoers like I do, then do the following:
  • Get a tablet of any kind, or maybe even open Notepad or Word on the computer and resize the window to a reasonable size so that you can see both the Runescape window and the word processor at the same time. If you have a tablet, get a good pencil or pen.
  • When you see an autoer and obtaining as much evidence as you can that they are indeed an autoer, write or type their name out and then report them. Make sure you correctly transfer their name from one source to the other as the report system accepts any spelling of any name for the rule of macroing. You want to make sure your reports are as accurate as possible. As far as I know, I have only typed in a incorrect spelling of a name once.
  • Get a stopwatch of some sort or record the time it was when you sent in a report. Once you report an autoer, start your stopwatch and once the time hits one minute, report another autoer, reset the watch, and repeat the process.
  • After reporting an autoer, put a check next to their name in the tablet or delete them from the word processor.
Good spots for autoers on any world are (that I go to for reporting):
  • Forest west of Lumbridge. They're all over at normal trees, oaks, willows, and yews. The yews near the boundary of the forest and the swamp and the willows surrounding the pond in between the Draynor Jail and the nearby farm where the Sheep Shearer quest takes place are filled with autoers mostly. Also the two oak trees behind the Lumbridge General Store is a hot spot.
  • Willows just south of the Draynor Bank. There doesn't seem to be a lot when there's a lot of average players cutting there, but the night that Botanreaper2 and I were celebrating my 99 woodcutting in f2p, World 128, there were tons of autoers here.
  • The willow trees near Port Sarim near the stone fence that creates a boundary between Draynor and Port Sarim. The location is always swarming with autoers.
  • Karmaja Docks on Karmaja Island. North of the banana plantation. I only went here once or twice and the amount of autoers vary.
Hot spots mentioned by others from various sources across the internet:
  • Yew trees by the maze near Rimmingon. I never saw autoers there, but others have seen many.
  • Mining Guild. I never saw autoers down there.
  • Behind Varrock Castle at the yew trees. After all the pictures that I have seen of about twenty to thirty autoers at these trees, I have only seen about three in my Runescape career prior to when I stared 'hunting' autoers as my Runescape hobby.
  • Various mines around the f2p world. I'm not sure about any wilderness mines. I have yet to explore mines for autoers. If I find any more information about autoers in mines, I'll be sure to post an update here at the blog.
And for an example of an autoer tablet:

If you were want to come autoer hunting with me if I'm not busy in the game or in the real world, them private message me or comment me here. I'll try to keep my private on more when I'm autoer hunting (it's mostly on friends) if you want to message me. Company would be great and the help in getting rid of autoers. I think Jagex would pay attention to two reports on one person more than one report on one person. I will guarantee that it may be boring, but it is definitely pretty relaxing and if you follow my process of reporting autoers, you'll then find yourself in a rhythm that may become addicting for you.

I'm out. Have a nice day. I think I may take a visit to f2p if you know what I mean.

Fiddler on the Roof

What a hectic week! I have been pretty busy, back and forth all over the place. So much so that I have put off this blog entry two nights later than I hoped to post it, so I hope that won't be a problem. :P It was fun though. I mentioned that I'd be busy with drama last week, and I sure was. =) My school's Curtain Club was putting on Fiddler on the Roof this past weekend and the days leading up to that, aka tech-week, I was required to stay after school everyday until as late as 10pm! It was all good though, I mean it's only a week of staying up the school late, plus it's fun and I literally live at the school for a straight week, we are even served dinner. xD Last Saturday's practice was cancelled because 2ft of snow was dumped on us. Now it's funny to say that yesterday's temperature was about 70 and most, if not all the snow has melted. After school yesterday I literally looked like I was going to the beach. I got home and my mom urged me to put on my shorts and tube top, wear sunglasses, and sit on the back ramp to read my homework. I followed instruction, I mean, who can argue with that? The sun felt really good on my pale skin. :P Anywho, I was given a ride to drama Sunday since my driveway was snowed in still that day. I stayed at the school for about 6 hours, and saw the play Fiddler on the Roof for the first time. I thought it was fantastic even then, and half the people still didn't even have their costumes!

I was working on Stage Crew again. They split my friend Abby and I up on opposite sides of the stage, which I predicted would happen, but we had about the same job. At first we had to move weights. That idea was soon aborted and then our job was to move hay bails on and off inbetween scenes as well as sweep in order for the actors not to slip during the many dancing scenes. I thought it was fun, it just wasn't much to do y'know? Tuesday I couldn't go to drama and had to come home, but I did go Wednesday, but then missed Thursday. Despite this, I thankfully, didn't get in trouble, and all seemed well. Probably because the drama director was too occupied (I am still scared of her though.) :P

If you have never seen the play Fiddler on the Roof, then you must! At least rent the movie. I fell in love with it immediately. It's a story about a poor Jewish family, and Tevye, the father, has to face his traditional values with what his daughters are choosing to do concerning getting married. It's so cute! All of the actors at my school did an outstanding job, especially the main character, Tevye (aka Lucas who is one of the funniest kids I know!) It's a musical, and all of the songs are just lovely. I have each and every one stuck in my head every second of the day. =P I go around my house singing them even. Haha if you count it up, I saw the play a total of six times this past week. Each time loving it more. =)

I was so happy I was able to participate in such a magnificent production. It continues to be praised even. =) I made so many memories this past week at Drama, even this year as a whole with the previous play. I am happy I chose to get invovled in something, and I enjoy it too. =) I make new friends, and I spend so much time with Abby that we had so many good times we made a book-o-keepsakes. =P Hehe. I could go on for hours talking about the silly things that happened to us!

Thursday I mentioned I didn't go to drama because I was invited to a banquet for Reflections, a program at my school in which I entered my poem for the theme "My Favorite Place". I had been chose as a council winner (lyke no wai!) and with a few other friends, we all went to the banquet. It was nice and lasted 3 hours. Dinner was served, music was played, awards were given, and pictures were taken. My name was called and I got to walk up and recieve a medal and certificate. I had never won Reflections before, but always wondered what it'd be like. I can't believe still I had won another something for writing, it's unbelieveable because I personally think Buddy is the phenomenal writer. xD I am thankful&excited anywho!=]

Now drama is officially over for the year. I miss it. :P Sure I was only invovled with it for two weeks total, but it was enjoyable. Abby and I are invited to an end of the year banquet in May (woah what's with all these banquets?) so we hope to attend. After Sunday's show, there was a sad ceremony-type-event for the seniors leaving. Everybody was crying as they gave hugs and received flowers and applause. Then we had a mini-party after clean-up before going home around 7:30pm. I got to take home a few souvenirs though that included a piece of fabric, chocolate peanut butter cookies, a water bottle, and a piece of bark from Lucas's stump which Matt (little Motel) gave to me saying I had to keep it for when he came for me in 'forever land'. Haha so that was good.

Yesterday and today I have been heavily practicing a difficult mouth skill, trilling one's r's! I learned that for a Spanish test my teacher is making us read lines from a Spanish dialogue and in order to score well we need to pronounce the words correctly with the best accent we can present. Well this is hard in a number of ways. I think I got the vowels down, since I spent last year making a point to pronounce correctly, but I just could not roll my r's for words like Barrios and repente. Now you see, Chase (my brother) is the greatest r-roller my Spanish teacher has ever met. At the beginning of the school year he got to stand in front of his class to show everybody his talent and they timed him, 31seconds being his record trill. :P With that in mind, I hoped maybe some genes were in me to be oh so talented. That and I was extremely determined to trill like there was no tomorrow. I wasn't going to give up. I had a goal, and I set out to reach it. Yesterday was bad, I was like spitting and croaking like a frog. Really wrong. Today I read a few pages online, and learned people disagree on whether it's something everyone can do, or it really might be gene related/a physical trait. Anyways, I knew I could do it, so I kept telling myself I could. I knew I could because when I was younger I honestly remember doing it with my brother. I just had to reteach myself was all. Before dinner when I was in my room alone I sat there saying the word 'purrr' a dozen times, making sure for the r's that my tongue was gently on the roof of my mouth. Before I knew it I was trilling and I got so excited!! I calmed down, and kept trying. The word 'purr' worked really well for me, but I believe different r words work better for different people. After I got tired of purring, I randomly just started to focus really hard and pronounce the letter r with my tongue in the correct spot. This worked even better as little breathes were getting through and I was trilling for 5 seconds at a time, and I could even vary in sound like a song. My gosh I was excited! Hahaha :P So you see, I still can't do it each try but I am getting the hang of it again. I want to master it so I can have a contest against my brother, mwhaha (rrrrrr's ftw!) We'll see though, practice makes perfect right? =]

This entry contains a lot so I hope you got your fill, hehe. :P

Going along with my goal for 1003, i want to get full saradomin armor. I have 1mil already for it, so only 1.5mil to go. I really want this armor, in ftp is is the best rarity and price wise. People who have this are regarded as elite, superior, and the rich of the free player world. After i get this armor, I will finally be a good ftper in my eyes. I think it is the best and looks the coolest and is awesome. I really want it and only 1.5mil to go. I will get it one day, and finally can wear full saradomin armor. I also may change my blog pic. to this pic. to show how strong my goal for full saradomin armor is.

Blog Special: It is human nature to want things, it is our imperfection. So people that say they do not want any thing are lieing, for they always will want more.

What to do on Runescape....

This be Chase, and i have come bearing a post. It tis' be about Run es cape'. My new goal is to get a total level of 1003. My 70 crafting goal still applies, and it goes with it. Runescape is a fun game, but after 1003 a long break for me will come from it. All i want to do is get full Saradomin rune armor, and my 1003 total. I ahve a plan to get it, and it will be hard. But i think i can master it.

Plan for 1003:
There are 78 levels to get, for my total at the day of this post is 925.
Crafting to 70, 12 levels. I have all the hides banked.
Magic-63, 12 levels. Will runecraft runes i need and use curse over 8k times.
Runecraft-57, 7 levels. Will get by making the runes for 63 mage.
Woodcutting-70, 9 levels. Will go to 65 on willows. Then cut yews to 70 for cash.
Firemaking-65, 5 levels. Will burn all the willows i get from wood cutting.
Ranging-70, 8 levels. Will kill lesser demons and moss giants with bronze and iron arrows. I think i can do it.
Cooking-68, 2 levels. Almost 67, this is an easy goal =)
Fishing-74, 2 levels. Will get by fishing 2k lobsters to get 500k to buy rune essence to runecraft for magic runes.
Smith-55, 4 levels. Need to get 1594 coal and 797 iron, or 2338 iron, or 2333 copper and tin. I think i can do it.
Mining-71, 1 level. Will get from getting ores for the smithing levels.
Hit Points-70, 3 levels. Will get from ranging.
Strength and Defense to 66, 2 levels. Will get from lessers and drs
86 combat(69 attack, defense, and stregth), 9 levels. Will get on lessers and other monesters(hope i can do)
4 levels remain. What i do for these levels is not yet decided.

After 1003, i will only play runescape on occasion just to pk and train combat. After 1003 i will take a long nice break. I hope i can get it by June, wish me luck =)

The Future

Normally, in English class, I ignore much of the information that my English teacher tells us in class and much of it goes into one ear and out of the other, besides if it's information about a test, essay contest, something that will help me with the homework, etc. Actually, that would be all the time so I listen to him pretty well, but occasionally he'll go off with a story that has nothing to do with the class, and I would talk to Joey, John, or listen to my iPod. But today, while we were jumping into the next section in the book, we were discussing much of America history from the years after 1940 to about present day when the book was published (a pretty long time ago) and a pretty interesting topic was brought up. A topic that I have been debating over for a time now within my head and a topic that bothers me. Sadly enough, this topic has an inevitable subject that will happen someday, whether it be done one way or another. Just like in the poem "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost, if the world doesn't end by fire, then it will end by ice, and vice versa.

Yes, the topic was about the end of mankind. It wasn't straightforwardly concerned over such as the topic was mostly about how there's unprotected silos filled with nuclear weapons in Russia after they were created during the Cold War era, and how if somebody cunning enough was to break into one, that it may very well be the end of man. There's so many different ways for man to die that it's not even funny. All we have to do at this point in time is to push a button, send a couple nuclear weapons around the world, start a nuclear war, and not even a day after the button was pushed, there will hardly be any life left on this planet. Right now, as my English teacher pointed out, as you hear cars outside roaring by your house, mankind is slowly dying. Our ozone layer is going bye-bye and when that goes, mankind will go bye-bye. Ever get a sunburn? Multiply that sunburn you had by ten more sunburns and maybe mix a little bit of skin cancer and melting in there. Yes, the ozone layer is nice when you see results like that, but it's slowly decreasing in size due to the amount of gas and other particles we're sending up into the atmosphere because of cars, factories, etc. And honest to God, you have Al Gore running around warning people and politics that we need to take action, and the majority of the people ignore him! Okay, let's wait until New York City is underwater because of rising ocean levels, the majority of American citizens cannot leave their home because they'll get skin cancer and radiation poisoning, and our crops are burning up, droughts are ample, we get hurricanes every week, and wildlife is dying. Maybe then we'll take action! Al Gore and others warning about the issue of global warming are the saviors here. These are the people we need to listen to because if we don't, we're going to dig ourselves into a hole so deep that we can't climb back out -- and we're already pretty much in that situation! We need to either do one of two things: Get NASA to hurry up, find another planet that can support life, find a way to ship more than six billion humans to that planet and some animals, and then we won't have to worry about Earth anymore; or we can actually worry about our planet first besides looking at other planets. I think scientists should invent some capsule that upon explosion can create an atmosphere on a planet, but maybe morph that idea around a bit and try to find a way to rebuild our atmosphere first.

Even though I'm so concerned about this global warming, that's only one of the many ways that mankind will go extinct. That's a scary thought, as a complex issue such as global warming is just a minor fault that will bring humans down. What else do we have that can kill us? We have things from outer space (asteroids, gamma rays [correct?]) and then we have things on our planet (super volcanoes, global warming, nuclear war, plague). What's even more scary is that the majority of the events on Earth that can kill humans off are caused by humans themselves. And what's even more terrifying is that the Earth is going to end no matter what, caused by mankind or a natural event. The sun is going to die millions of years from now, and even before then the sun will increase in size and swallow the Earth. Even before then the increasing size of the sun coming nearer to Earth may do its toll on the planet, drying it up and even evaporating the oceans. The only problem with global warming and the other man-made tragedies that can occur is that they'll just end us faster than we would naturally go extinct. Our doom is inevitable. But the ultimate horrifying thing is that what will be left? What's the purpose of our living now? Just think about it. When the Earth is swallowed by the sun, who's going to remember the greatness of John F. Kennedy? Who is going to remember the different continents of Earth? Who is going to remember mathematics, languages, arts, etc. Nobody as there will be nobody. What would be the case if we happened to be the only life in the universe or the last life there was. All life would be gone. There would just be stars and massive chunks of rock floating around in blackness known as space. What will happen as time goes on? Even if man was able to travel to and live on another planet, sooner or later the universe is supposed to all smash into itself and be gone too. I have to wonder though. What would there be if there was no universe? I hate it when people say nothing. There has to be something. Who is it to say that the universe is the ultimate stage? Maybe the universe is within a sphere just like a planet and is morphed around a central ball of energy -- the core. As to say the universe itself is the sphere. But just like how planets float about the universe, if the universe was a ball like a planet, what is it floating around in? I know we're looking at a large scale here, but the chance of such an idea being true is possible as no man knows the definite answer.

Why should I be concerned with this if it may not involve me? I may be dead before the government even accepts that global warming is occurring. I'm concerned because my life will mean nothing if there is no life to speak of it. Now, I never plan on being popular so I can easily be forgotten about twenty years after I'm dead and rotting in the ground, but let's say I wrote the best novel ever and I'm widely known. When mankind is gone, so will my legacy too be gone. History will be gone. All these fundamentals that we go to school to learn will be gone. Some people say that by then we'll have robots around to store all the information, and if they have to, be launched into space and drift around with the information stored, waiting to be found. But is a robot alive? No. Robots are metals, wires, computer chips, and the such. I would not accept them if they were invented and programmed to have the brain of a human, but I would accept them if they were to store as much information as possible about mankind before we go. But even then, there's only so much that a computer chip can hold. Look at the internet. You need multiple servers to store all the information contained on it, but when it comes to a single chip of memory, you can only store a little bit. And will that supposed life that may find this information be able to understand it? Unless it's those gray aliens widely known for probing people, then maybe, but otherwise I would have to say that the answer is a no.

Everything that we do today will be lost in time. The Earth will end either by ice or by fire, and with it our existence. What man should do now is try and prolong our existence besides killing ourselves over much of the sufferings and tragic events that we cause. If I were to take a guess, I would say that we'll go extinct due to our own activity. Look at the situation like an endangered animal. Us humans are sometimes the reasons why animals go endangered, and then we try and save them later on from going extinct. The question is: who is going to save mankind from going extinct? Think about it. Aren't we already endangered? Sure, there may be well over six billion of us, but also remember that by a press of a button that the six billion can easily go down to zero.

I hope I made some good points in my reasoning. Enjoy my opinions.

Have a good one. There may not be many good ones left.

a picture of me

This is Joey!

well heres another poem titled, "Bonnie and Clyde"

Bonnie and Clyde

For you I would steal the world, to let you know just how I feel

I’d put it on a necklace and watch it nuzzle to your neck

Oh that neck, that piano, whose chords have spoken such symphonies so sweet

For you I would steal a star, but only the second brightest I’d give to you

So when we look up we’d still see the best

Just like I feel when I look up at you from the bottom

For you I would steal my heart, but I can’t because it is no longer mine

You know I’d be a thief for you

Because you were a thief first

You broke the commandment

But don’t break my heart

so this was my weekend

okay so i had a pretty good day, i was with the girl (amanda) for like alot of friday and saturday, friday we were at a party quoting anchorman and get this, her friend has like a laugh that can shatter freaking glass, then on saturday was fiddler on the roof (school musical) to see my friend matt act and sing, he did good, it was good, that was amandas first experience in my crappy school, i hope she doesnt die of the mold poisoning. i do stupid clumsy things around her it gets me mad, but i think thats part of love, anyway keep in touch i'll have more stuff

real.boy.

Hey! Anyone want to hear some music from me? Check me out, it’s my 1 man band! Real.Boy.

www.Myspace.com/realboysetsfire

untitled poem about cannibalism =D

I glanced over to my right arm
And ponder; I did at what I saw
For down beyond that bend did my eyes see
The scab that formed from natural law
I attempted to ignore the scab
I ignored it best I could
But in the back of my mind
There was a beast that would
Rip open that scab, and watch
Watch my blood on skin to sooth
Get pleasure in the pain
Like vitality was old news
It would tear at my skin
On my blood it would feed
My Stockholm syndrome won’t stop this senseless self-destruction
Its bittersweet seduction
It is then I learn
I learned it from me
That inside every man
Is his own worst enemy

introduction of seduction!

“Just live right now, yeah just be yourself

It doesn’t matter if it’s good enough for someone else” –Jimmy Eat World

Hey! So this is my first entry, I figured I’d just let everyone know what to expect from me. I really like music, so I may have song suggestions for you to look for, or maybe a song I wrote, or maybe poetry, maybe just some words of inspiration. I know a girl who I will refer to as girl for her protection, and I like her a whole lot. You’ll see I am a cheesy romantic kind of guy.

“I always think of an excuse just to talk to you” – me!

with all of my love,

They Have Returned

What is this unknown 'they' that has returned to Buddy Foote's Blog v.2? It's the "Crossword of the Day"! This blog special had its own debut back in the summer of 2006 and then quickly died away after about two crossword puzzles that I have made. Of course, the majority of the topics covered in my previous crossword puzzles were Runescape and at the time, many people wanted to play Runescape rather than do a crossword puzzle on it. On the rebirth of the blog special, the puzzles will not be Runescape-only and will cover a variety of topics. These topics will challenge your logic, but will also allow you to do one thing: the ability to look up your answers. The 'solve' button is the cheap way to obtain an answer and will quickly dissolve the fun factor of the blog special. Therefore, jump onto Wikipedia or a variety of other sources to find your answers if you do not know them. Some questions are very straightforward whereas others may be confusing and contain some information that you do not know. This is where the amazing power of the search engine comes into play.

The crossword puzzle that I have created for today is titled "The Great Wiki Search #1". This puzzle, just by the title of it, will inform you that the source of Wikipedia will greatly help you with finding the answers for the questions. The puzzle contains thirty questions that you must answer. If you're up for a challenge to test your research skills and your brain, then scroll down to "~Crossword of the Day~" located below in this blog entry.

In other news...

Either tonight or tomorrow, Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 is going to host a new blog writer. I'm going to keep the identity of this new blog writer secret so that it can be a surprise. But let me tell you, I'm happy to have this new blog writer on the team. This blog writer is unique and his style of writing is spellbinding and can attract anybody. I welcome you to the blog whenever you arrive.

Forget that break from Runescape I was talking about. I came home today, not wanting to play it, but then after four o' clock I found myself upstairs on my laptop with the Runescape login screen in front of me. My vacations from Runescape aren't too long. After a few hours of playing, I gained two firemaking levels and I'm now 78 firemaking. I may go back on after writing this to go on a reporting spree -- my hobby in Runescape.

#Foote_Chat is back online, but mainly for the purpose of Chase's Squad 4 clan. Until a renaissance of the forum occurs, BFBv.2 will no longer link with it.

And now for your 'blog specials'. Note that I took the "daily" out of "daily blog special". Why? They weren't exactly daily and the title was misleading. I don't think saying "...of the Day" is misleading though, as it is the blog special of the day.

"Comment That Keyword!"

"where to find dragon wood chopping axe on runescape"

Well, the only two main sources that you can find a dragon [woodcutting] axe are from those big nasty level 303 dagannoths known as Dagannoth Rex and Dagannoth Prime (I think there's a third, but don't quote me on that) and from buying the axe from another player. If you really want a safe and cheap way to get the axe, then find some stupid autoer that happens to have the axe, wait until their axe head falls off, wait a minute until the axe head becomes visible to you, pick up the axe head, and then lead the autoer to a dangerous spot by dropping a trail of yew logs, wait until the autoer dies and then grab the axe handle from the pile. Congratulations, you just got a free dragon woodcutting axe. The only problem is that you'll never find an autoer with a dragon hatchet.

Have a good one.

The Big One

What do the following two pictures tell you about a major achievement that I have finally obtained in Runescape:

Yes, I am now 99 woodcutting. After approximately two months of woodcutting all the time besides my usual visit to f2p every once or twice a week, I have finally reached my goal of 99 woodcutting. I would have to thank Dante11356 for encouraging me to do the skill. He may not have directly told me, but after I got 100 combat and 60 hunter and I wanted to cut 6.2k yew logs so that I could alch 6.2k yew longs with the 6.2k nature runes that I had forever, his goal of 99 woodcutting sort of rubbed off onto me. I finished getting the yews and then established my goal of 99 woodcutting. Even though Dante was too going for 99 woodcutting, I was not racing him. I don't really like competition, thus why I fancy skills like woodcutting and fishing more than mining and combat. Even firemaking, the next 99 that I want to obtain, is a competition skill. As soon as somebody comes into your spot wanting to do firemaking, then you're both cluttered together and then you force yourself to hurry up and burn logs besides taking your time and not enjoying yourself. One of the reasons I'm not too motivated to do the skill at the moment. My final willow count was 118k+, and I already burnt around 2k of them to get 76 firemaking from 75. I know that I won't be wielding my trimmed woodcutting cape anytime soon, but I do like the untrimmed version just as much.

Just for the record: I started woodcutting in January at the woodcutting level of 86. I finished the goal at 99 woodcutting on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the time from 12-12:10 P.M. Yes, I stayed up pretty late on a school night on Runescape, but I just wanted to get the 99 already as it's been haunting my mind while at school and it was sort of affecting my thinking toward school. I would be looking at ways to hurry up and finish homework and study just so that I could go on Runescape and woodcut, but ever since my woodcutting dream has finally come true, I no longer have this itch to jump onto Runescape everyday. Thus, I think I may take a week vacation from the game.

I would like to thank Alaskanwolf7, Dante11356, Botanreaper2, Caydalyn, and Trans Power for supporting me on my journey. Also, thank you Botanreaper2 for staying up late with me on that school night to give me a "gratz" message and to run around with me after I bought my woodcutting cape. I was actually on until one in the morning that night. The bad part was that I had a major cultures test the next day (however it was extremely easy besides the fact that I just went on and on in the essays). The next day (well, later on Wednesday after school) I then tried to firemake in f2p on World 128, Trans Power's home world, but I could not get any peace and quiet. Honestly, I would be followed, begged, and harassed every second I was there. I went with Dante once to f2p once he had 99 woodcutting and I never remember anybody following him a lot so I figured, "I might as well go to f2p to get 97 firemaking and report any rule breakers while I'm there." Big mistake.

"Can i see em0te plzzzzz???"
"wat cape is tat?"
"how do i rune craft?"
"can i have 3k?"
"can i have free stuff pl0x????"
"wcing freak"
"pyro nub"
"buy ur axe plz 3.05"

Those are just some of the sayings that I get from individuals almost every second I was on, and the bad part is that you just can't click and firemake all your logs, but you have to keep on constantly clicking and I'm not good at multitasking to be clicking and typing at the same time -- thus, I wasn't getting a lot of exp for the time that I was on Runescape. My favorite is when I tell a beggar that I'm broke or that I have no money, and they say, "but ur lvl 100". That's one of those fricking stereotypes that the Runescape community makes -- that a high level is rich. Well let me tell you, money does not matter to me at the moment. I want to train skills and not go crazy for making money. And I used to tell that to people but then they'd ask for all my money because they thought that what I was saying translated to "I don't want my money" when really I'm saying "I don't like money". I do see a difference. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

If you want 99 woodcutting, I would encourage that you chop willows to 99, maybe sometimes switching to maples so that you don't get bored. Also, don't stay at one willow spot until 99. There's good willow spots at Draynor Village, Catherby, and by the Barbarian Assault mini-game. If you plan on firemaking the logs or fletching and dropping right after you cut them, then you can go virtually anywhere far from a bank. Normally these locations have nobody at them, and you'll have an x amount of trees all by yourself. I did this with maples. By the log agility shortcut behind the manor that's north of Seers' Village, you'll have about four to five or more maple trees there, with a nice and long and wide straight of land to firemake. Just make sure you stay away from the aggressive wolves in the area, and you'll find yourself a good woodcutting spot. My favorite spot for willows was the Barbarian Assault location. Four willow trees, almost nobody there, and a bank deposit box very close nearby. If you want to get there quickly, just operate a game's necklace, teleport to Barbarian Assault, and you'll be right there at the willow trees. Too bad I found out about such a great place when I was already 98 woodcutting. By the way, a dragon woodcutting axe would help. If you don't have the money for one and you feel like getting woodcutting, fletching, and runecrafting exp, then just craft nature runes, chop yew logs, and then make yew longbows, alching them in the end. It may be a slower route, but you'll be contributing to your levels and getting money at the same time. And no, my dragon woodcutting axe is not for sale.

Just a few announcements before I leave you:

Buddy Foote's Blog v.2's forum, #Foote_Chat, has been closed. Reason will not be stated as I'm still depressed thinking about the events that went on that day. The forum will be offline for a while until I figure out what to do with it.

Due to the closure of the forum, I'll need to occupy myself with more hobbies to contribute to the blog and to more smaller sites that I'm going to create. I want to bring my crossword puzzle idea back and make a sister site for that. Expect Runescape, definition, and other random crossword puzzles in the future. They're not going to be easy either, and will encourage you to actually do some internet research to complete them, without using the button that solves the answer for you. That's just cheating.

Buddy Foote's Blog v.2 is looking for a new blog writer. We're looking for literate people who enjoy to write from our school, Lakeland, and from my Runescape friend list. I'd also like to announce that starting next week, Chase will start posting again, and a lot. Jenifer, well, I didn't see her in a long time. I think she's too busy with work to worry about getting internet and definitely writing for the blog. We'll hopefully see her again soon. I enjoyed her entries. Also, as Caitlin announced, she's busy at drama all week as the school play is running for three days at the end of this week. Good luck to the drama club on the presentation. I will try to make it there. And the one main reason I was very, very inactive from the blog was because of my 99 woodcutting goal, which, like I said, haunted me to get it already. Now that I'm done and taking a break from Runescape, I'll be posting here a lot more. I can't let Runescape take over my real life too much, and my virtual life needs a little break after woodcutting for so long.

I'm going to try and make my future entries less Runescape related, whether that be a good thing or a bad thing. Just like how #Foote_Chat was, BFBv.2 isn't a Runescape-only site and more needs to be on it than just Runescape to appeal to everybody. I'm never good at recalling events in my life, so my entries will probably be filled with my opinions on a certain subject that I can conjure up, like global warming. However, this does not exclude ranting on about the internet.

I'm going to also try and share my favorite YouTube videos from now on by providing links to the videos. From out of nowhere, YouTube videos started to work fine on my internet connection, and I'm no longer pestered with long loading times and videos that stop constantly to buffer. I once tried this YouTube Video Accelerator from Speedbit, but the results were not too good. Why? My router would not allow the multi-connection test to work properly, and therefore I could not use the service. But ever since I tried that and fooled around with my router, firewall, and internet settings, everything seems to be fine. Strange...

The blog special "My..." might come back as well. "My..." was a special I did about two times where I just took a picture of a random object that I own and, well, put it on here. Expect some random pictures in the future of my possessions then. And by the way, I might go out more now that it's getting warmer and the snow is almost gone and take pictures. Expect to see less text and more graphics.

Summer will be here before you know it, and with summer will bring the second anniversary of Buddy Foote's Blog v.2. Caitlin and I better start getting ideas for a new layout.

And I will reward you with no 'daily blog specials' today.

Have a good one.

Comment Those Keywords!

The last few weeks or so, the amount of viewers that have stumbled upon this blog has been horrible. Just the last few days alone we only had nine unique visitors pop in each day. Thus because of the poor numbers, I rarely received any keywords that people have searched with to wander upon this site. Today, however, for some unknown reason, we had 32 unique visitors. Now 32 may not be a lot to many sites (as back in the early summer of last year, 32 would have been a horrible number for this blog as we normally had 60+ everyday) but for us in our current poor state, it's like a miracle that we gladly received from God. And with these 32 uniques came lots of keywords. Why should I waste time and speak about all the statistics when I have tons of keywords to comment? Well, I don't know. That's just my character.

Let's begin, shall we?

"Comment Those Keywords!"

"runescape cheats for earning 500k {members only}"

You got a little fancy there with your keyword, didn't you? Based off of this keyword, you're stereotyping that members have an easier time making money than free players do. Sure, members have flax fields, maple trees, better items to pk. staking, better merchanting items, and the whatnot, it's not exactly easier to make money. Picking flax, for me, is one of those most horrible things ever. It's funny how people think there should be a flax picking skill. Finally, a skill that will make you money, right? Ha, yea right. A flax picking skill would decrease the price of flax so fast that you'll be lucky to sell your flax for 5 gp. Why don't we get a whiteberry gathering skill or bird nest locating skill while we're at it? Picking flax is for income or if you don't want to spend money for crafting/fletching. Thus there's two divisions in Runescape: a money making division and a skill/quest division. Yes, you can make money off of skilling as most of Runescape does, but it can't always be that way. Skills like mining, woodcutting, fishing, etc. are in both the skill and if you choose to sell your products, money making divisions, but is firemaking in the money making division? I don't think so. You sort of burn money there. Sadly enough, I think we have more money hungry individuals in Runescape than people who want high levels. And I mean money hungry as hackers, scammers, beggars, etc. I would never merchant too, that's very into the money making division. You can't stand in a bank shouting out and skilling at the same time, unless you're alching, fletching, etc. and can multi task good.

The cheats for getting 500k though is to earn it the rightful way. There is no cheating in Runescape. Well, we have macroers and all those bald level three bots running around the forests near Lumbridge, but you don't want to be that kind of people who has a script do the work for them. And then the guys who do auto argue that they have a life. Well, you know how me and my discussions of the phrase 'no life' are. I disagree with that phrase so much. Do you play single player games on your Xboxes and Playstations? I think so. Wouldn't you agree that Halo and Runescape are both games? Yes, yes they are. People play the missions in Halo or whatever you do in that game, and then you have the people who skill and do quests in Runescape. See a difference? They're both games. If you 'no life' on Runescape, then I guess you 'no life' on Halo. What does it exactly mean to have a life? Huh? Do you have to be married, have kids, a job, etc.? I think that's a horrible life. I wouldn't want kids or a spouse. More stress factors that will end my life quicker. However I am going to go to college, major in computer science and education, and get a teaching job. I mean, that's my life. I would be happy living in an apartment building by myself and playing video games and grading papers. You say that such a living is having 'no life' is racist in a way because you're discriminating the lifestyle that I choose to live by. Games are fun. You play games for fun. Skilling in Runescape, for me, is fun. If you say that you're wasting your life on Runescape, then you're probably not going to last long on it, and in the end you would have been wasting your time. That's just my opinion.

The member-only cheat for 500k: Pick 5k flax and sell for 100 gp each. A simple solution, isn't it? If you're interested in using your skills to obtain money, then don't pick flax and skill instead on a skill that will earn you money.

"how long does it take to get 99 woodcutting"

I started my woodcutting goal somewhere back in January, 2007. I was at 86 woodcutting when I began my goal, and I'm currently about 400k exp away from 99 two months later. So if you're 86 woodcutting, then it'll take about two months for you to obtain 99 woodcutting. But think of this: some weeks I couldn't play a lot, I cut 6.2k yews when I first started my goal so I didn't do willows the whole time, and at the beginning I would also woodcut and firemake maples at the same time. So if you constantly did willows and played a good amount each day, then you'll probably be a proud owner of a woodcutting cape a lot less than two months from beginning your goal. Oh yes, a dragon woodcutting axe would help.

"no lifer runescape"

I hate you.

"ow do people change 1 gold to 99 mil on runescape"

Good question. Good keyword. And now you're going to get a good answer:

You need to jump head first into a puddle. Have a friend record this on a video camera. Convert the file extension of that video to .run and send it to Jagex's offices via mail. The address to their office is posted somewhere under the 'Contact Us' part of their site. The people at Jagex will think that you're funny, and will reward you with money. Screw 99 mil, you'll get 999 mil.

Now for all seriousness: People don't press a button and magically convert that single gold piece to a few million of them. They work for their money. They skill, pk, stake, pick flax, merchant, lure, etc. Some methods are harder than others but they all involve skill. No, not a Runescape skill, but the skill that is hidden within you called your brain. You must pick a method and think it out, and learn it. Learn the skill that you're going to dive into. Some methods involve less thinking than others. My five year old nephew could probably easily woodcut magic trees in the game, but can he type out "~ selling whip 2.3 mil --- 110010101101 ~" over and over again in a bank? It's all skill, the unison of the brain, fingers, and your eyes. I actually do not know what the hell I'm talking about at this point, so please ignore everything I just typed up under this keyword. I'm too tired to think and I'm stumbling over the keyboard.

Please check out my Runescape log that's located on the #Foote_Chat forums. While you're at it, sign up there.

Have a good day.

Snow and a Bird

Well, we've gotten yet another large snowstorm. Winter certaintly came late this year. At my house we got over a foot, I was told roughly 16 inches or so. We always get a lot at my house. :P I went out in it after school yesterday when it started and it was already close to going in my boot. I got out early from school due to this oncoming storm. The snow was really powdery and soft, not as hard, chunky and frozen as the Valentine's Day storm. Heh, and you know what's weird, this can be called the St. Patrick's Day storm =P I hope this is the last snowstorm for this season, as I am more than ready for the warmer weather. Just last week it seemed that spring was coming, and each day was getting warmer. Then as soon as I have my taste of spring, bam, we're hit with a foot of snow, wind, and cold temperatures all over again literally the next day. xD Not that I hate the snow, it's nice during the winter season, but I really enjoy spring and summer too. ^^ I was supposed to have Drama all day today, (I'm on stage crew for the spring play again) but it was cancelled because of the storm. I am supposed to go tomorrow then, the thing is, we're kind of stranded in my house. When my father travels, it's difficult to get the driveway plowed and us dug out as good and as fast. My brother shoveled a path but since it was windy the snow is going to just blow back and our one vehicle is in the garage, and in order for it to come out we have to somewhat shovel the second smaller driveway. So, it can be complicated and I may have to ask for a ride to the school if we can't completely finish shoveling that driveway. =P I hope Drama is fun though, I am anxious to go, then I realize it's going to be a lot of work sometimes, but that's what makes it fun.(=

I have a story I want to just write about again because it's amazing this situation is still going on. As I sit here typing this, there has been a bird flying into the kitchen window in front of me. Exactly one year ago today, St. Patrick's Day, I believe my mother and I were getting home from the parade. I was coming into the kitchen, taking off my coat, blah blah whatever I do when I heard this really loud "peck!" behind me. I get a little spooked and see a tan bird with a big, bright red beak flying beak first into the large kitchen window.

I exclaimed "Oh my gosh! I think a bird just flew into the window!" My mom and I were tired and I think she told me not to worry about it and we went about the rest of our evening. The following day, and every SINGLE day after that, the bird would be flying beak first into the window. All summer long, every morning, dinnertime, all through Christmas, snowstorms, heavy rains, below freezing temperatures. Nothing was stopping this bird from flying into our kitchen window again, and again, and again. After a couple months it became a part of our everyday life. My mother would be sitting quietly at the kitchen table, drinking her cup of coffee, and guess who would be flying into the window? That goofy bird. After it flew beak first, it would stumble back and sort of sit on the ledge and flat out stare at my mother. Seriously, I am not lying. The bird would stare and it was super creepy. Then it would back up in the air a little and fly into the window again. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, and to make matters worse, nobody will/would believe us unless they saw this go on for themselves. I mean, honestly, don't birds die when they fly into windows and stuff? I thought most even flew south for the winter! xD Recently we have been trying to figure out what this bird wants. It's loud when it constantly flies into our large window. I am worried the window is going to crack from it all, and then the bird is going to come inside and attack us all! Haha.. My mom is scared and thinks it's some reincarnated bat that was this one that tortured her and I one summer night two years ago. Haha..I don't know but I mean, it's weird, weird, weird! And oh, the way it sits on the ledge and stares at you as you eat your meals. Every so often it will fly off into the pine tree in front of the window, but when you least expect it, it will ram itself into the glass. We even went as far as to put one of my life-sized dolls into the window thinking maybe it would scare it off, but that didn't seem to work. One whole year of this, the bird is still alive, our window is intact, yet there it continues to clunk into our window. Oh, and did I mention just a few months ago it started to attack our other windows about the house as well? Ah, yes! Just you sit and listen. It seemed that when nobody was in the kitchen, the bird could be found flipping into the living room windows, bathroom, and then the sunroom arched window. My goodness, it went around the entire house. It is so strange! o.O I remember the first time we found it hitting the sunroom windows, it sounded like someone was at the door tapping to come in. That's exactly what it sounds like, as if someone is tapping to come in. I am getting scared talking about it..ah save me from this birdie bird. haha -meeps- My mother is rather annoyed with it. One year, like come on that's nuts! :P Well, at the moment I assume it is in the pine tree because I don't hear or see it right about now. It may even have gone to sleep, but not to worry, when the sun comes up tomorrow and we come down to eat breakfast red beaked beastly will be rap-a-tat-tatting. x)

At school this week everybody was testing. My grade was taking the Terra Novas (some name of the tests), and they aren't incredibly difficult or anything, but we did tend to have a lot of free time afterwards. It was fun. I actually liked taking those tests, and didn't want them to end yet. Taking them meant not having my 1-4th period classes. Due to that, I had little if any homework after school and was able to go on Runescape a lot, as well as last night and today since I had no Drama. =) I have been trying to raise my RuneCrafting level to 30. I think it is lvl 25 now, and it does seem to be a longer process, no wonder it's not too popular (reason I want to like it even more :P) Two people with combat lvls in the 80s were runecrafting at the same time as me and had runecrafting lvls under 25...one guy's was 13. I felt pretty good mine was higher, hehe. All the while I spent some time aquainting with new people in the Runescape world. I have tried to make it a point to be more sociable and engage in farther conversation with people who take an interest in being my friend. In other words, I am giving people more of a chance opposed to me not keeping any names on my friend list for long. For now it seems to be going along smoothly. One guy seems nice and we spent some time talking about music and other problems. It was nice to add a friend that didn't immediatly say something gross or "ask me out." That's what I am looking for, just some "plain" people who are playing it to play, not to date, and will talk casually with me so I can try making a new friend or two (-cough-&spread forum/blog word) ;P I also spent some time helping a girl learn how to smelt her ores and then she really wanted a bronze skirt and chest part, and since she couldn't smelt them yet I took the bars and made it for her, but had her make what she could. My brother keeps having me do random tasks for his 'clan' as well. He made me treasurer of the entire thing ever since I reached 31 prayer (woot woot). The other day I made a bunch of yellow dye and tried selling yew logs.

I suppose this concludes my blog, and for my daily blog special I want to type up and share this poem my friend Abby wrote for me when she was bored after the Terra Novas in her testing room. I think it's funny&cute, but some may not understand our personalities. ;)

Cat, oh cat, I haven't seen you all day
because of this, my heart has split two wayz
while you were in Bachak's room,
I was doomed.
I hope you did wonderful on your Terra Nova
into my thoughts you swiftly dova.
Seperated were we
we became backwards, 2 pods in a pea
but into my thoughts you wildly danced,
for far away from me, you quickly pranced.
The only thing still keeping me going
is the thought of your hair briefly flowing
your dominance distracted me from my test
but cat, oh cat, you remain the best

No Lifer!

First I must say sorry about my long absence from writing a real true blog entry. My last blog entry on March 7th really can't be considered much of an entry because it was my cheap solution to posting an entry without putting a lot of work into it. My last 'true' blog entry was all the way back on February 25! I don't know about you, but that's a pretty long time for me to be inactive on the blog. I have to thank Caitlin and Chase who have been active over the time that I was "away". I wasn't actually away. My addiction to Runescape took over all the nerve cells located throughout my body, and the only actions I could complete was going to school, chopping down willows trees in Runescape, and doing some natural human behaviors that are essential for life. Currently being 97 woodcutting and less than 500k exp to 98, all I wanted to do was woodcut and get exp while I was on the computer, thus I usually strayed away from the blog. However, the forums, #Foote_Chat, are a different story. I'm always on #Foote_Chat.

I am here today because I was greatly influenced by much of the behavior of individuals on the game known as Runescape ([sarcasm]ever hear of it?[/sarcasm]). I know that I have posted a numerous amount of times ranting and complaining about the players of Runescape, but until these messages that I convey out to the public are heard, I'm not going to stop. The message that I need to get out today is of the following:

Just because you are a high level in Runescape or have a lot of wealth does not mean that you're a "no lifer". Hell, let me get some more things off of my chest. If you see a low combat level, don't make fun of them. I said this also a numerous amount of times: combat levels aren't everything. That level three you may be harassing may be a skiller with 86 woodcutting. What's your woodcutting? 32? Shut up then! And I hate people that when somebody says "I need 50 wcing for Legends' Quest" and then some other guy there says "I'm 97 wcing. :)" And no, that guy with the 97 woodcutting wasn't me, but some other guy who was trying to flatter himself. C'mon, I'm happy you have 97 woodcutting but you don't have to shove it into somebody's face unless you're asked for your woodcutting level. I never say my level unless somebody says "wc lvls" or somebody chopping the same tree as me says "wc lvl" without being in a conversation with somebody else. Please, it may only be a game, but use some polite manners. The other day some guy in full mith randomly started to follow another player in full mith and joking around, said that they were twins (which is very common if two people are wearing the almost same exact outfit), and the guy being followed simply yelled, "Go away noob!" Well, I couldn't take that. I bothered that guy who said 'noob' so much that it's not even funny. How? I kept on chopping the tree he was at, and 94% of the time chopping it down on him. Boy, did he get furious, and he even called me a noob. But as soon as he found out that I had 97 woodcutting, he wanted to be friends with me. Yeah, okay. Thankfully it was time to log off then because I told him, "One second, I'm doing something" and I ran to the bank, deposited, and logged off. I never saw that bastard again.

But back to the subject of the name known as a 'no lifer'. This name is cruel because somebody gets such a high level, and what does the rest of the Runescape community do to congratulate him or her? They criticize that person as a 'no lifer' and go on with their life, calling anybody lower than them a 'noob' and anybody higher than them a 'no lifer'. Oh, I love it when you say a truthful and honest level of yours out loud and it's high. You'll 14% of the time get somebody who'll call you a lier. I do a lot. "Oh, if you're so high then why aren't you cutting magics!???" Well look me up you dumbass. There's something called the high scores right smack on the main Runescape site. I'm so lucky that I'm able to keep my cool in all Runescape situations, or otherwise I would fear that I would have a black mark by now. And back to that guy who shoved his level 97 woodcutting into everybody's face. So when somebody asked "wcing lvls" and we both, back-to-back, respond with '97', that guy flies over to me and ask me how much exp I had until 98. Well, I was going to flip because Craig is sitting next to me on his laptop playing Runescape while the both of us are watching Borat and I wasn't willing to take my time to calculate how much more I had left, so at the time I said "600k". Then he responds, "Oh, I'm 150k to go" and runs off. Now, thank you very much for shoving it into my face.

Ah, forget about my main subject. I wandered all over the place way too much. Moral of this entry: treat everybody in Runescape equally, with respect, be polite, type properly, and love everybody like they're your own family. If everybody had such virtues, then we wouldn't all be depressed, competition-hungry, complaining, hacking, luring, and noob-calling players.

I think the community, though, is good enough the way it is...

...NOT!

"runescape cheats to getting rune platelegs"

There's are not multiple cheats to obtain such a treasure as rune platelegs, but instead only a single cheat that can get the job done.
  1. First, you must kill 345 chickens (no more and no less), picking up all their feathers. Do not bury a single bone.
  2. Sell 27 of those feathers to the general store, 17 to a level 116 player, and drop 7 in a straight line west of Lumbridge near the well.
  3. Once all the 51 feathers have left your possession, you'll hear a low humming noise for five seconds. Hurry up and do the dance emote. This will give you the following message in your chat box: "I have the key you want. Come and get me! Mwhaha!"
  4. Try to find somebody in full mime clothing. Follow them from the West Falador Bank southeast through Draynor, north through Barbarian Village, and then east to the Varrock fountain. You must go through all the locations while following the man or woman in the mime clothing and it must be from the one exact location to another. Make sure the remaining feathers that you obtained from the 345 chickens are in your inventory!
  5. Now a random event will pop up. The Mysterious Old Man needs your help! The Evil Chicken locked up the Mime in a cell, and only Prison Pete knows the way to the cell! Follow Prison Pete through long and foggy corridors as you try to gather the three keys needed to unlock the Mime's cell, but first you'll have to defeat a giant level two Animated Balloon Animal! This creature has the HP level of your total level times 10. The battle may take awhile. Once you enter the Mime's cell, you'll be confronted by none other than Evil Bob! After watching a funny cut-scene where Evil Bob and Bob duel each other (they flee once the Drunken Dwarf starts slinging rocks at them), you'll escape with the Mime. You're not done yet! The Evil Chicken has the key you're looking for! Go to his room which is next to the Mime's former cell, and dodge three of his magic spells. Then drop the remaining feathers! The Evil Chicken will call you a 'master chicken slayer', and flee in fear of you, leaving behind a key on the floor. Take it.
  6. Having the key in your inventory, you'll be teleported back to the Varrock fountain. Head west to the West Varrock Bank and go into the basement of it. At the far end of the room you'll see some locked gates. Unlock them with the key and go in!
  7. A Drunken Banker will then confront you! He'll start throwing interest rates and loans at you! The only way you can reflect his attacks is by wearing the ruby ring that is contain within the caged room. Wear the ring, and let four of his attacks hit you. They'll reflect off of your new amazing ruby ring and hit him. Defeating him, he'll give you a key, and he'll have a horrible hangover.
  8. Try opening various chests until the key opens one of them. What's inside? Rune platelegs! Take them! But wait! The Drunken Banker tele grabs the platelegs right out of your inventory! Talk to him and he'll say: "I'm sorry, I just wanted some magic exp. I'll give you back your legs. Just trade me." Now trade with the Drunken Banker. He'll pull up the Rune Platelegs. Quickly hit accept twice on both trade screens before he makes up his mind.
  9. Congrats, you know have your -- what! Mithril platelegs!? Looks like the Drunken Banker scammed you. Oh well.

Parade

Happy [early] St. Patrick's Day! ;P I am in a very Irish-related mood today, due to the fact I enjoyed watching a wonderful St. Patrick's Day Parade outside today in the city. Today was the date for the annual fun St. Patrick's Day Parade! :)

I've been to a parade a time or two before in my life, although it has become this slight tradition for my mother and I to go into town every year on a Saturday in March to stand along the sidewalks and watch the colorful floats ride by, hear the loud music, and witness the crowds of people. I love parades, and always have since a little girl. In fact, I always yearned to be in one. (Hasn't happened yet :P) Therefore I was looking forward to this weekend. I woke up earlier than usual this Saturday morning to get ready as the parade started around 11:30/noon and the roads are closed before then, not to mention parking can be difficult to find. We spent some morning time before the parade's start shopping around the mall. I only go to that specific mall maybe once or twice a year, so it's rather big and I look forward to walking around inside it. We did what felt like a lot of walking, in and out of a number of different stores, trying on perfume, looking at pretty jewelry, lots and lots of clothes (specifially shoes&leggings as that's what I wanted to buy), and house-related items. I always feel like laughing because it's funny that whenever I go to the mall with my mother we seem to spend most of the time looking at appliances or pots and pans. Pot after pan. Pan after pot. :P I don't find pan shopping extremely thrilling, so I was happy I brought my iPod along for those store aisles. x) Once it hit 11:00am, I had plans to find my good friend Nicole at the center of the mall, first floor. I found her without too much trouble during the time my mom gave in to this man selling lotion and begged for her to try a sample (she has dry hands anyway). By the way, those men that sell those lotions are really quite scary. :P They obviously say the same thing to every female that walks by, complimenting them like they're the most beautiful woman they ever saw. :P I am so scared of them, seriously. My mom just laughs at them and takes it as a big joke, so I laugh too. They talk and talk about this extraordinary hand product and flatter her when they say we are sisters, so I back farther and farther off. Then when I go back over to try to tell my mom I found Nicole, the man literally takes my hand to shake, asks my name, age, and if "such a lovely young girl as me" has a boyfriend. It creeped me out so bad I didn't shake his hand back but stood there, blushed, and ran the other way. Haha xP This is the second encounter I've had with this stall, so I try to keep my distance, it's too weird, lol!

Once clear of the scary-lotion-man-stall, I re-introduce Nicole to my mother and we walk around the mall alittle before we head out to the street to watch the parade. I was really happy we got to meet up with Nicole. =) I had fun giggling with her at all the silly people that went by and waving to every elderly person we saw in a float. My school's drill team and band was the first school in line within the parade, (a huge first, usually my school's dead last, no joke) so we waved to our friends which of whom seemed to notice us immediately, which I thought was strange. :P It was windy and kind of chilly standing outside so I had this long green scarf to match this green striped sweater I was wearing (green's the festive color, eh?), and wrapped the scarf sorta around my head, so I looked terribly funny no matter how many times Nicole said I looked fine. xD I probably fit in with the Irish culture somewhat well, since I have the red hair and Caitlin is a rich Irish name. The only thing is that I am not 1% Irish, but it's fun that people want to think I am, haha.

We spotted a number of classmates we knew from school at the parade and in the parade themselves, so that was fun. After a little while my mom got pretty cold and we retreated to standing inside and watching through these glass windows until I went with Nicole to find her mother. By that time, the parade was maybe only half over, and this grotesque smell was growing stronger and stronger throughout the mall. :P I sensed it immediately, and it reeked, very very bad. :P It seemed to be coming from vents above our heads, because at random spots as one would walk through the mall, the smell would seem stronger. I was laughing pretty hard because I could blatently overhear people coming in, taking a deep breath unknowingly, and exclaiming (ewwyuckk ohh what is that, it smells like ...!!!??) Haha, it made me laugh. My mom and I think it was sewage, and it probably was. o.o

Anyways, we tried walking away from the areas that smelled the worst and ended up at the other end of the mall to eat lunch when I ran into two of my other friends, Ashley and Tiffany. I was excited I got to see them as they had been on a float, but I missed seeing that part even though I wanted to. :P They spotted me and ran up the stairs, where we talked for a little bit (even about that smell) and then went into this one shoe store together. I thought the whole day was going great, and I was having fun. :]

The afternoon was growing longer, and I started to get a little tired from being on my feet all day so since we couldn't go home just yet as the parade was still going and the roads are mainly blocked off (it's quite a large parade), we went back to finish watching the end of the it! =) Again, I spotted some more kids I knew, and before I knew it the last few floats went by, the streets filled up with last-minute vendors and people crossing with baby strollers, and it would be time to leave. I'm glad I got to go this year, if only it hadn't been as cold as it was, but the weather&temperature seems to vary every year I've gone to this :P

Anyhow, once at home I got to have a delicious warm cup of hot chocolate and a moment to reflect upon the day. =) Now that my blog entry is all typed up, I want to sit down from having stood all day, and probably just play Runescape-something or other. Tomorrow I have more than one test to review for on Monday, because due to this pop -up snow day on Wednesday that we had, all my teachers still want to squeeze in this work&/or test all on Monday before we won't have them in class for a couple days because of testing. :P Er..what can ya do. Have a great day everyone(:

Radically Random...

For my daily blog special today, I want to do a word of the day. I know that Buddy Foote posted a word of the day a long time ago sometimes, but since last weekend, I became inspiried by my mother's idea for me to learn one SAT vocabulary word a day. What I have been trying to do is every morning when I come downstairs, I've been looking in my notebook to read a new word and it's definition over a few times (takes me maybe 10 seconds). Once I feel I have it down, I go about my day with the word in the back of mind, and my goal is to try to use that word within a conversation that day. =) I think it's a fun little personal goal. I have words filling up a notebook as we speak, and have been trying to improve my vocabulary. Therefore I thought it would be neat to every once in a while post what my word of the day was for that specific day my entry is posted on. :]

Today my word was:
contentious(adj.)- quarrelsome

Is Runescape always right?

Recently during my quest to get 70 crafting, I satrted to think of all the things i wanted to complete before becoming a member. One thing was acess to the magic guild. This would require level 63 or 64 magic because a wizards mind bomb drink raises your magic level by 2 or 3. After more research, runescape.com itself said that and i quote "Wizard's Mind Bomb
If your Magic level is 49 or below, the Mind Bomb will increase it temporarily by 2 levels. If your Magic level is above 49, your level will be boosted 3 levels temporarily. This item can be purchased from the inns at both Burthorpe and Falador." Here is the link-http://kbase.runescape.com/viewarticle.ws?article_id=2142. Is this true?? This link is from the real runescape website. I need to know. Can i trust it? Before i become a member i want acces to all the guilds(excluding heroes and legends). This is crucial if this is true. Level 63 magic will be miles easier then 64, so someone please tell me if i can trust the runescape websites claim. I need acces to the mage guild and this is the only concievable way, I also want to get into the guild via the drink. So please inform me(this message was directed to Stav and friends).

P.S. To get to 64 mage from 63 is over 2k more curse spells, doing that will take a while, 63 will be much easier, and i want 63, not 64. Also, next time Reasons for Runescape part 3 some out!

Daily Blog Special: The little indentation or grove on your upper lip is called the philtrum. No, it is not used as a rest stop for someones finger between nose safaris, but it is used to allow humans to express a much larger range of lip motions than would otherwise be impossible, which enhances vocal and non-verbal communication.

Conversation of the Day: Nintendo Trivia

I am testing a new concept to use on the blog, and it has to do with hiding part of the blog entry on the main page and only making it visible by viewing the whole blog entry on its own page. Therefore by using this method, I can do more things such as posting instant messaging conversations or even a short story without making the main blog archive page long and huge, a big letdown for many slow internet connections.

Being that I have been extremely lazy the last one or two weeks, I haven't had the motivation to write a blog. Most of the typing that I did was in Google Talk conversations, so I put two and two together and figured that I could contribute to the blog by posting up these conversations, with the permission of the person I'm having the conversation with, of course. And by using that new method that I found on Blogger hacks, I can do such that.

Click the chat balloon below to read the Google Talk conversation between Caitlin and I as we discuss some Nintendo knowledge. It may be long, but hey, there's my blog entry. My lazy solution to get out of things.

8:44 AM me: Hello
Caitlin: hey :P
do we seriously not have school today?
8:45 AM me: I believe so. However I didn't get an e-mail, but both WNEP.com and the news stations says CLOSED. Yet again, another day that I prayed for a closure and got it.
Caitlin: yeah i didnt get the email yet either. lyke omg. i was so shocked. i was all dressed for school already when i hear chase yelp with joy. :P
8:46 AM me: A good day to get 97 woodcutting
Caitlin: ;]
me: I was about to go downstairs and get ready, when I thought, "I might as well check WNEP.com again for the 14th time." And with my luck, CLOSED.
8:47 AM Caitlin: ! thats so awesome xD yay yay. :P
me: It's probably a mix between the wind chill, cold weather, and that three inches of snow we're expected to get. Sure, it may not be a lot, but with these temperatures, you can get some bad situations out of it
8:48 AM Caitlin: -nods- thats true. ^^ i dont even know what i am going to do with myself all day today :P lol
me: I checked the radar, though, and it looks like the snow may miss us
Caitlin: :P thats funny.
8:49 AM they cant make us be un-closed though. once a school puts closed it is final. hehe. i'm perty excited about this random day off ;P
me: Haha, I remember way back in elementary school or maybe even in junior high school when we were supposed to get this big storm the next day and they closed the day before, and then it was sunny the following day and we had no school. :P
8:50 AM This closure is really going to screw up those three tests that are planned for the end of this week
Caitlin: lol!! :P i think i remember a day like that
i knowww. thats what i thought of first :P
me: Well, it gives me a good chance to review Spanish and English
8:51 AM Maybe do some practice tests for computer class online
Caitlin: good ideas ^^
me: But, I highly doubt any of that will happen
8:52 AM Caitlin: haha, sometimes i tell myself i want to use my free time wisely and get ahead, study a little, but i know what you mean, i just wont be able to get myself motivated enough to go and do that. :P
8:53 AM me: I did, however, already look over all my reflexives this morning, in fear of a Doud Spanish stand-at-the-board-and-get-flipped-at contest where no prizes are rewarded because she flips out too early
Caitlin: :P lol!
8:54 AM me: At least I can finally finish that five hour movie I have been watching since late Sunday
Caitlin: ;P hehe yeah you should have enough time for that :]
8:55 AM me: I have watched the first Legend of Zelda, then LoZ: A Link To The Past, and now I'm watching the five hour LoZ: Ocarina of Time
After this, I might try to find The Adventure of Link
Caitlin: cool =]
me: It gives me something to do while woodcutting
8:56 AM I got sick of reading forums on Runescape and LoZ
I got sick at looking at wikipedia articles
8:57 AM Caitlin: :P i remember liking how in the one pic of you and your glasses i can see how you split the screen with runescape and then youtube or something, i never thought to split a screen like that. i was thinking about it yesterday and how brilliant of an idea that is and i may try to use it. xD
me: And I'm not good enough at multitasking to promote blog/forum or to write something for either while woodcutting
Caitlin: :P hehe
me: Here, I'll take a screenshot so that you could make it out better
Caitlin: okay! thanks!
9:00 AM me: I was playing Runescape yesterday and was woodcutting willows (big surprise) and this guy was here woodcutting them too and then making fires with them. So I'm watching my movie and out of the corner of my eye I noticed that he spoke. So I looked and he asked, "Do you like my symbol?" and I thought he meant a holy or unholy symbol that you wear in the necklace slot, but then I looked again and saw that he made the Nazi symbol out of fire
I took a picture, but most of the fire was ash by then
9:01 AM Caitlin: :P thats interesting!
9:03 AM me: I ignored him though. It was pretty childish for him to do that
9:05 AM Caitlin: yeah, i dont see the point of people doing that, well negative symbols dont make me applause the person :P but i remember julus when he would come come to my world would make symbols or pictures with buckets he dropped or something :Phaha &yay thank you so much(: i'll keep it for reference
i never would have been smart enough to think of stretching and splitting my windows. ohmygosh i love that idea xD
9:06 AM me: I have been using that idea since they made SwiftSwitch illegal
First I used it with AOL
But Firefox is much better
9:07 AM Caitlin: thats so cool ^^ its a helpful idea
me: And that was a pretty long time ago
Even though Swiftswitch is now legal again (the newest version), I like my method the best
9:08 AM The only reason why I used SwiftSwitch was because of the browser it had
Caitlin: :P
me: And believe me, I hated that browser
Actually, I stopped using it
I used to have a Firefox screen up over the SwiftSwitch window
9:09 AM I had been gradually evolving my methods over time
Caitlin: lol! :P i never put iswiftswitch on this laptop. and i dont even have firefox on here. i should put firefox on here though..i havent used it since the desktop :P
9:10 AM me: Like my skin on Firefox?
Caitlin: yep! :D its cute and very mario? if i look close i think its mario. haha
me: SMB3
Caitlin: cuz of the plant coming out of the pipe
and the turtle
9:11 AM :P
me: Oh geez
Pirhanna plant -- koopa
Caitlin: o.o never heard them called that before. :P
me: What's that small brown thing next to the koopa with wings?
9:12 AM Caitlin: ladybug
:P
me: Oh boy
Caitlin: well it issss :P
thats what they look like
kinda
me: I'm going to refer you to a wikepedia category that consists of Mario enemies
Caitlin: hahahaa
and you bounce on them
and they disappear
:P
me: You don't bounce. :P You stomp them
9:13 AM Caitlin: chase has mario i want to play it later and bounce on them. xD haha. i always said bounce
me: Goomba
9:14 AM Caitlin: how do you know all thse names!? :P thats cool. i know nothing except mario is the short italian baby. and he has this tall green friend, theres princess peach, a toad, and one more maybe i think i forget
luigi
got it
:P
woot.
-shrugs-
me: Mario Mario and Luigi Mario are brothers -- hence the phrase 'Mario Brothers'
Caitlin: i never realized that!
9:15 AM aww thats cute
xD
i just thought they were friends
heh
i learned something new (:
me: What was Mario's original name in Donkey Kong?
Caitlin: mario? lol i dont knowww. he was in donkey kong? donkey kong has monkeys i thought
sorry, i dont know my video game trivia-stuff. :P
9:16 AM i fail
me: Well, I am here today to teach you -- interesting conversation for the blog. ;)
Caitlin: yes it would make for a good one!:]
me: Okay...
Jumpman was his name
Caitlin: o.O haha thats weird.
me: Who was the girl that Jumpman had to resuce?
9:17 AM Caitlin: i dont think i ever played a game where mario was called jumpman, therefore if the girls name isnt princess peach with blonde hair i have no clue. x)
me: Did you ever play the original Donkey Kong?
9:18 AM Which debuted in 1981 or some year then
Caitlin: i'm not sure. chase always had those games and i'd play it with him. but it was when we were in elementary school so i am fuzzy
was it yellow?
we played a yellow one
:P
and he ate bananas
and rolled down hills
me: Do you have a N64?
9:19 AM Caitlin: i dont think so..chase has the oldest gameboy alive, and an advance i think, and a ps2. thats all we own
:P
me: Anyway, Donkey Kong is in the forum arcade
I want you to play it while I go downstairs and eat breakfast. ;)
9:20 AM Caitlin: okay! i will! :D
i am eager too actually
:P
me: Don't leave. We may not have math, English, and other things that count toward college today, but we have Nintendo class
Caitlin: but i will run and brush my teeth too. haha and i wont leave unless i lose my internet and if that happens i'll go next door so dont worry
yay for nintendo class xD
9:21 AM me: brb then
Caitlin: okay

5 minutes
9:26 AM me: I have returned
Caitlin: my gosh that was fast i just finished brushing my teeth and clicked the game xD
me: I just had a glass of cholocate milk
Caitlin: oh, okay :P haha
me: There's nothing of interest to eat
9:27 AM Caitlin: i see :P
me: I ran out of ceral that fits my fiber diet
Caitlin: lol?? :p i ate apple jacks this morning. lolz
me: Was does Life come in such a small box...
*why
9:28 AM Caitlin: hahaa :P
me: And that was not figurative
9:29 AM Did you play the game?
Caitlin: i am failing poorly at donkey kong.
&yes i have been
i cant even like get anywhere
i keep dying
:P
9:30 AM me: Sadly, that's not the full game. The full game has...four levels I think. That has just the first one which repeats
Bot notice the girl at the highest platform
9:31 AM Caitlin: yes i see the girl :) i cant reach her though, its very hard :P
me: Darn, Ganondorf took Zelda! He now has the Triforce of Wisdom! Go Link -- save her!
Caitlin: i wish i could hop over the balls coming to me
lol!
me: Those 'balls' are barrels
Caitlin: gotcha ;P
9:32 AM me: And who do you think that girl is?
Caitlin: i never saw her before :P i have no idea
me: Pauline
Caitlin: ^^ never would have guessed ;)
me: Donkey Kong was the only game that she ever appeared it
9:33 AM Afterwards, Peace took the spotlight
What was Peace's original name until Super Mario 64 made its debut in 1996 on the N64 (I'm pulling these questions all from my head, so some information may not be right)
9:34 AM Caitlin: oh my gosh i almost got to the girl this time! i think i can do this x) &i never heard of peace.. =/ or pauline. but princess peach. -nods- :P you know a lot of facts about this
me: *peach, haha, sorry
9:35 AM Caitlin: haha ooh! :P
me: Peach's original name
What was it?
Caitlin: hmm. i think i may have been told her original name before but i cant remember it now :P what did it start with?
me: P
9:36 AM Princess T________
Okay, so it starts with T. I counted Princess as the start word, but that would've confused you
9:37 AM Caitlin: yikes. i dont knoww :P but if i wanted to be a cheater i would guess toadstool because thats what came up online ..shh.
9:38 AM me: Haha, cheater, eh? The internet is correct
Caitlin: :P haha. well i hope i know one of these questions so i can blow your mind away. otherwise i feel really ignorant and girly. :P
9:39 AM me: What game did Yoshi first appear in?
Caitlin: mario? he's the dino with the egg right?
me: He is a dinosaur
9:40 AM But what game? Has to be exact title and...the console it appeared on
Caitlin: a cute one :P
9:41 AM me: Give up?
Caitlin: steve do you want me to fail or whaaat? :P i really dont know? mario something? i always thought all the games were just mario
9:42 AM i guess when i was younger i didnt pay much attention :P
but i played mario a lot
me: Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Caitlin: i was close! i was going to guess super ninentdo and then some. :P
9:43 AM but i didnt guess it
haha
me: Even though games like Yoshi's Cookie was on the NES, it came after SMW as NES games were still in production for a short time afterwards, as most consoles today are. For example, the Wii may be out, but Gamecube games are still being released. Same with PS2.
9:44 AM Caitlin: hmm. okay
wowyoureallyknowalot
its impressive :P
me: Compared to most, I hardly know anything
9:45 AM Caitlin: more than me ;P
me: My knowledge is mostly basic Nintendo subjects
How many Pokemon were in the first two games (Red, Blue)?
9:46 AM Caitlin: oh my gosh! :D i<3pokemon. but i never counted how many. let me guess..
no chase told me this once
me: Don't count Mew
Caitlin: i think there was ike 250something...? :P
me: In the originals?
9:47 AM Caitlin: 100something? 150?
i have a book
somewhere..
it told me
:P
me: What's your final answer?
Caitlin: 150
me: Correct.
Caitlin: YAY!!
9:48 AM :D
omgyay!
wooot. :)
that just lifted my spirits. i feel more confident now :P
me: This one will lower them
Caitlin: lol!! wellthx.
:P
me: Who was the final boss in Super Mario Brothers 2?
9:49 AM Caitlin: some big thing. i bet he was scary. and his name may have started with a b.? :p
me: Bowser?
Caitlin: yeah i think thats the name i was thinking of :P
i couldnt remember it though
9:51 AM me: Out of the three SMB titled released (actually there was a fourth but it was considered SMB2 and was only released in Japan, as later when released to America on Super Mario All-Stars for the SNES, it was called The Lost Levels [I think...]), Bowser was the last boss in SMB and SMB3. So, you're incorrect, unless you live in Japan.
Caitlin: -smacks the table- :P og.
but i remmemer bowser
9:52 AM i beat him only once in one of the games. and it was fun.
:P
me: Do you give up?
Caitlin: yes :P
me: Wart.
Caitlin: hm
didnt know that
me: The game took place in Subcon, not the Mushroom Kingdom
9:53 AM Caitlin: i see
me: Including the future one coming out for the Wii, how many Mario Party games are there?
9:54 AM Caitlin: theres a mario party game? i never even heard of that before. i will give you a random number guess though :) 8.
me: You're right
Caitlin: haha no i'm not
:P
??
me: Yes, you are
Caitlin: :D oh, well then, i guess i'm pretty good? ;)
9:55 AM me: I may just let you borrow my N64 someday. You missed out on a lot there
Caitlin: :) that'd be cool. i dont even know what it looks like.. or do i.. i dont know
:P
me: I have Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium, Super Mario 64, can't let you have Harvest Moon 64, and a lot more
9:56 AM Caitlin: awesome ^^
whats mario party like?
do they party. loljk
me: Let me get a wikipedia article for you
Caitlin: okay
9:57 AM me: "Mario Party is the first in a series of board game style video games for Nintendo platforms, featuring popular characters from the Mario series. It was released on the Nintendo 64 in Japan on December 18, 1998, followed by a North American release on February 8, 1999. It was released in Europe on March 9, 1999. The game has "spawned" seven sequels with Mario Party 8 as the most recent one, as well as Arcade, Game Boy Advance, and e-Reader versions, making a total of eleven games in the series."
9:58 AM Caitlin: thats cool =) i cannot believe i guessed 8 right. that blows my mind :P
me: I forgot all about the GBA version
Here, just read the text under Gameplay: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Party
10:00 AM Caitlin: the picture they show of mario party looks familiar
i bet i've seen it before :P
10:01 AM me: Did you read the Gameplay section?
Caitlin: yes:]
me: Does it sound interesting?
10:02 AM Caitlin: sure ^^ i like how the objective is to collect more stars than everybody else. i like stars :P
me: How many stars are there in Super Mario 64?
Caitlin: 64?
10:03 AM me: 120
Caitlin: oh, okay :P whats the 64 stand for?
me: For Nintendo 64
Caitlin: oh :P i get it now
10:04 AM me: The number 64 is for...I can't think of the term, but it's for the rendering of the polygons...no..darnit, I can't think of the word
Like the SNES had 32 and the Gamecube had 128.
10:05 AM Let me find that word. It's under the computer settings somewhere
Caitlin: okay
me: Nevermind, it isn't
Let me search for it
10:06 AM Caitlin: i've been trying to search for it too :P
me: 64 bits
Caitlin: hmm, okay
me: "It is a 64-bit processor, in that it has 64-bit registers, a 64-bit instruction set, and 64-bit internal data paths."

11 minutes
10:18 AM me: Hello
Caitlin: hello! i'm sorry, but i lost my internet. and i had to wait for it to come backk. it is so annoying. :P
10:19 AM and i never know when its going to happen
me: Well, at least I got some wcing exp and three parts accessed in Ganondorf's castle while you were away
10:20 AM Caitlin: haha thats good, glad to see you used your time wisely. :)
me: Yep. Did you get that quote I sent you?
Caitlin: nope :/ the last thing you said to me that i got was "64 bits"
me: I have 76,870 willows
Caitlin: wooo. thats a lot full ;]
me: Buddy:
"It is a 64-bit processor, in that it has 64-bit registers, a 64-bit instruction set, and 64-bit internal data paths."
10:21 AM Caitlin: -nods- good to know ^^
me: How many Zelda games were there for the N64?
Caitlin: 4
me: 2
10:22 AM Caitlin: okay. i was close :)
:P
me: For the SNES?
Caitlin: 3
me: 1
Caitlin: ack
me: For the NES?
Caitlin: 3
me: 2
10:23 AM What console or handheld is the next Zelda game going to appear on?
Internet lost again. More wcing

10 minutes
10:34 AM me: What console or handheld is the next Zelda game going to appear on?
10:35 AM Caitlin: okay. ahh this internet. so i ran over here in this house now. but i can only bear it here for an hour as there is little heat and its kinda coldddd :P
hm..lemme think about that question. :p
me: You need to have some guy set up a router
10:36 AM Caitlin: yeah, i need something. but its not just that, even when chase and i are here next to the internet thing we got set up we lose it here too. so the whole place has problems. :P
me: Contact Adam's Cable
Caitlin: my dad has to. he doesnt believe we have problems, cuz when he is here the internet is perfect.
:P
10:39 AM and i dont think i know the answer to that question..so i need to guess again (: ...what other handheld is there even aside from a gameboy? well and it will probably appearr on the wii or xbox or something like that..or wait. maybe a ps3. :P
me: ...
You did not just consider the Xbox 360 or PS3...
I did not just read that
Caitlin: lol! why. whats wrong witbh that?
:P
10:40 AM me: Xbox = Microsoft. PS3 = Sony. Wii = Nintendo. Loz = first party game which means that the owner of the console is the owner of the game
You'll never, ever, ever, see a Nintendo game on a system that isn't a Nintendo system
10:41 AM Caitlin: oh. :P i'm sorry i didnt know that..
me: And the Wii is wrong
However a sequel to Twilight Princess is in the making, but isn't really confirmed
10:42 AM Any other guesses?
Caitlin: i dont know what else there is left to guess :P
me: Answer: Nintendo DS
Caitlin: ahh.
okay
me: Name as many Game Boy's as you can
Caitlin: okay!
10:44 AM the really old like probably first nintendo gameboy, the big gray one y'know. :P um. gameboy color, pocket, advance. and i think thats all i know :P probably because thats all i ever played..wait and maybe the one with the screen you can draw on. i saw those before
10:45 AM me: The DS?
Caitlin: okay. i think thats what its probably called, yes :P
me: No. The DS is not a Game Boy
Caitlin: aw. i thought it was :P
it looks like one
lol
10:46 AM me: Nintendo has two handheld classes. The Game Boy, and the DS.
Caitlin: ooooh. okay
me: But: Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Pocket, and Gameboy Advance is correct.
Caitlin: :)
yay
10:47 AM wait theres another
i remember
oh man
whats it called
the advance folds and then theres this one that plays mini games
like mini things
and its rectangular like
me: Oh, that's just another forum of the GBA. It's the SP
*form
Caitlin: oooh! okay. :P yeah thats the name
10:48 AM me: I would consider that just a type of GBA, not as a GB. That's just my opinion though, but you're right.
Caitlin: :P okie dokie
me: You got three right, and one cheated answer.
10:49 AM Caitlin: cheated?
me: Let's resume
Caitlin: how did i cheat
:P
me: You said you did before
Buddy:
P
Princess T________
Okay, so it starts with T. I counted Princess as the start word, but that would've confused you

Caitlin:
yikes. i dont knoww :P but if i wanted to be a cheater i would guess toadstool because thats what came up online ..shh.
Caitlin: yes i cheated then but i havent done so since :P i promise
10:50 AM so i am doing okay thern
i dont know much
:P
me: You're doing good
Caitlin: (:
i like this
its very fun
10:51 AM me: I need to think of some more
Caitlin: :P
me: Name the four secret characters in Super Smash Brothers
No
Better yet
10:52 AM I'll name them, and you tell me which game they first appeared in
One's Luigi and another is Jigglypuff, so I'll exlude them
Caitlin: but i dont even know what super smash brothers is. i've heard it before
:P
10:53 AM me: Ness
10:54 AM It's a fighting game starring a variety of Nintendo characters. For example, Fox McCloud, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Samus, Pikachu
Caitlin: oh, okay. hmm. whats ness then?
me: Ness is one of the four secret character that you must unlock
10:55 AM Caitlin: ooh , gotcha. and i'm to name what game they first appeared in..
-meep-
:P
me: Yes, or any game. And do not say Super Smash Brothers Melee. ;)
Caitlin: ...-gulps- never heard of a ness.soo..hm
me: He's from a SNES game
10:56 AM Caitlin: i doubt i played a snes before. :P
ummm
me: I played this game on an emulator a long time ago. I only got to the first part of it. I might download it again
You never played a SNES before? -eye twitches-
Caitlin: i dont think so..
10:57 AM me: Well, I must let you borrow that too
Caitlin: haha :P i musta missed out on a lot
me: brb
Caitlin: okay
10:58 AM me: back
I have to shovel soon
Caitlin: oh, okay. :P and hey guess what chase told me i did play a SNES before!
:P
but i thought what i was playing was a playstation
:P
me: Oh geez
10:59 AM Caitlin: no see, when i was like 8 i used to go play this game at my cousin's a lot so chase said it was one..i guess
:P
me: I dislike Sony and Microsoft. I refuse to buy any systems from them. PS2 is my last Sony gaming product
Caitlin: i probably thought everything was a playstation. haha
11:00 AM me: Nintendo has been around, in the gaming industry, since the later 1970's with Game & Watch.
Caitlin: i like nintendo
me: Sony and Microsoft are out for the money
11:01 AM Nintendo has been a caring company since before my siblings were born
Heck, even my grandmother
Caitlin: lol! :]
me: Nintendo was a playing card company in Japan in the 1800's
Late 1800's
Caitlin: i think you told me that once, and i remember thinking how weird that sounded
:P
11:02 AM me: When I did that speech last year in speech class on Nintendo
Caitlin: !! thats it! :P
me: And I think I got an 84 on it
11:03 AM Caitlin: :P -shakes head- well if that was true you deserved much better lol
me: No, I didn't deserve it
I sucked
But I worked on improving myself and got a 100 on every single speech afterwards
11:04 AM Caitlin: =]
me: What game series does Samus star in?
Caitlin: donkey kong. :P lol steve i have no clue
11:05 AM me: Metroid
Caitlin: i bet chase would know that
:P
me: I never said the answer to the Ness question
Caitlin: oh, yes! what was the answer?
me: Earthbound
Caitlin: ah
11:06 AM me: And the other unlockable character -- Captain Falcon
Caitlin: bird flock sounds like it could be the name of a game.
11:07 AM and a falcon is a bird so thats my silly guess. :P
hehe
me: No, I don't believe there's a single game called Bird Flock
Caitlin: snap
me: Answer: F-Zero
Caitlin: oh, wow. never heard of that ^^
me: It's a futurastic racing game
11:08 AM Caitlin: cool ^^
me: What about Fox McCloud?
Caitlin: fox trot v.4
11:09 AM hehe steve sorry i guessed. i dont know these ones(:
me: Your guesses crack me up
Caitlin: me too! ii am laughing so hard. :P
me: Answer: Starfox
Caitlin: Awwww! i shoulda known.
i knew it had fox in it
me: Kirby?
Caitlin: kirby?
me: What game series?
11:10 AM Caitlin: kirby adventures. isnt his game just called kirby
me: His series is just Kirby, and that game title is a correct game
Caitlin: :D haha woah go me.
me: 4 correct
Caitlin: yay
!
11:11 AM me: What about Link...what game?
Caitlin: zelda
me: Yes
Caitlin: :D i pay attention to you talk of him. oh yesh
11:12 AM me: Who is Wario's suspected brother? It is not confirmed whether they're related or not, but most of the community thinks that they are.
Caitlin: mario?
i always thought they were
lol
me: No
Waluigi
Caitlin: luigi
woah i was close.
:P
11:13 AM me: What game did Waluigi first appear in?
Caitlin: wario?
i played wario once. it frustrated me
me: Mario Tennis.
Caitlin: ah, i see
me: For the N64
11:14 AM I remember renting that game from Blockbuster all the time
Good memories
Caitlin: :P aw
-pokess- unblock craig.
Craig:
alright...
tell steve to add me in g talk he blocked me yesterday
and forgot to unblock me
me: I would set up matches where the computer would play each other and have fine tournaments. I got ticked off when I found out, after buying it, that you can't do that in the Gamecube Mario Tennis
11:15 AM Caitlin: :P aw. that sonds fun
*sounds
me: That explains why he wasn't on today
Caitlin: :P
11:16 AM me: He was bombarding me with messages while at my house yesterday, so I blocked him. :P
Caitlin: hahaha
:P
11:17 AM me: I'm running dry out of questions
Caitlin: aw ;P
me: What was Bowser's original name?
11:18 AM Caitlin: booster. he had an original name? bowsey. boaster. bigguy. bouncy. bowflex.
me: King Koopa
Caitlin: oooooooooooooh!
i heard that before
:P
11:20 AM i'm pretty bad with names
11:21 AM me: Well, it's all memorizing
Caitlin: if you want to talk to craig now we can stop the questions for the time being if you ran out :) it was fun. and i will have to go eat in 10 minutes anyways ^^
me: Not even. Just having it around you for years causes it to stick with you for life
Caitlin: :P haha
me: I was around games since I came home from the hospital
11:25 AM Caitlin: hey, sorry. happened to me, again. :P
11:26 AM me: :P
I didn't even notice
Caitlin: lolthx. :P
me: No, the green dot stayed green
Caitlin: ah, i see. its so weird. i am still connected just nothing works for so long until it comes back to life
11:27 AM me: My Gtalk freezes a lot
Caitlin: that stinks :P

lol
me: I never saw anything about the 3rd grade
11:28 AM Caitlin: Stephen:
I was around games since I came home from the hospital

Caitlin:
hehe, its like second nature to you. :P i didnt grow up around them until 3rd grade.
:P
then i got kicked out
me: Meh, it's first nature
Caitlin: :P hehe
me: Funny thing is that I really don't like playing games. I like making and watching them
11:29 AM Caitlin: (: yeah. and reading about them too?
me: That too
Well, I better go shovel before I'm yelled at
11:30 AM Plus I smell fiber
Caitlin: haha! okay =) i am gonna eat lunch and warm up next door &read

Yes
Caitlin: talk to ya later(:
me: We shall study for Spanish then
Caitlin: okay sounds good!
11:31 AM me: As our English test will probably be pushed to Monday
Caitlin: i hope so!
me: But I'm not going to overestimate that, as that's an error in decision making
Caitlin: xD hahahaaa
true true
:P
me: If you get into a car with another teenager, you have a 300% chance of dying
11:32 AM Caitlin: o.O :P
me: See you
Caitlin: hehe byebye steve
